Dear Guests, Thank you for your thorough review and we appreciate and value your feedback. We will do our best to resolve any issues that occurred during and after your stay with us. Please let us clarify, that the number of rooms available to guests, is clearly mentioned in our house rules policy. Same was never changed or amended and in case an extra room is required - it will be charged according to our policy. We have charged you 50€/per night via VRBO, absorbing fully the commission amount on our account, not yours. The washing machine issue was indeed an unexpected development, however once previous guests have caused damage to the plumping, we have removed the washing machine from our listing. The AC malfunction is well noted, and has been taken care of my a technician, replacing the machine itself and the wiring (after your departure, due to dust and noise). We do however hope that regardless of all above minor issues, your stay overall was a pleasant experience and Athens will forever remain in your memory, as a welcoming and a sunny experience. Dear Guests, Thank you for your review. As per your mentioned issues, let us please response to avoid any confusion: Regarding the hot water mixing system, it is a standard issue European plumbing operating mixer, we have had no issue before or after your stay. However we will check the property on that matter, once it’s vacant. The size of the bathrooms is above average, as per analogy of the bedroom /bathroom size. The smell is something that was also never brought to our attention, however the building is indeed an old classical structure and considered to be a historical are value. Regarding the owner visiting the property, that was arrange and agreed with you the day before (prior to the visit). And taking the photos, was a precaution, given the messy and chaotic state of the apartment at the moment of the visit. The mattresses being removed from the beds, the curry spices overloading be kitchen and used for cooking (with no windows open) and the overflow of other small changes in the property’s state. Last but not least, after the AC issue was fixed, same problem occurred for the next guests stay, taking in consideration that the all ACs worked perfectly prior to your arrival. We have not made any damage claims or taken the situation any further, because as per our driver’s comment (who was arranged from our side for your day trip and your departure transfer) “the guests are perfectly happy with their stay and have no complains”. We hope to have addressed all the issues and managed to clarify the mentioned above negative comments. We however we would gladly host you and your family again!
