House Notes
• General Home Care: We hope you enjoy your stay! We kindly ask that you please treat our beloved farmhouse with care and respect. Please put things back where you found them. For any remaining dirty dishes at the end of your stay, please place them in the dishwasher and start a fresh cycle.
• Heating & Cooling: When we renovated the home in 2024, we installed a new forced air furnace and central A/C system. To help better manage temps upstairs, we recently invested in a new dedicated heating and cooling system for the 2nd floor! With new forced air vents on the ceilings, this new setup allows you to adjust the temperature for each floor to get as comfy as possible.
• Windows: One quirk of our lovely old farmhouse is the windows. Most are quite old, and they get cranky when opened and sometimes do not like to fully close. As such, we appreciate it if you can refrain from opening the windows. With the new 1st and 2nd floor heating and cooling systems, you should have no problem getting comfortable. We also provide ceiling fans, pedestal fans, and extra blankets, so you should be able to stay plenty comfortable without opening the windows. If this isn't the case, please be sure to reach out to us!
• Max Guests: Only registered guests are allowed in the house, for a max total of 12 persons in the house at any time. Thank you!

The farmhouse was a great place to stay for our family. Great location, easily walkable to downtown and a lovely park if you have children. Kitchen had everything you needed. Very clean and beautiful place to stay. Brian was great to work with.

Perfect Location for a Weekend Up North
Location was ideal for our group who was in the area for a ski race. Accommodations were very well thought out… from the coffee station, kitchen utensils, games, bathroom products. Highly recommended.

Ski weekend
We recently stayed at this VRBO property for two nights , and it was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were comfortable with cozy bedding. We appreciated the spacious fully-equipped kitchen, which made cooking meals easy. Very convenient to downtown and only a short ride to the ski hill. We would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone.

Torch Lake Getaway
We were very impressed and happy with our choice to stay in Bellaire at the farmhouse. There were 7 adults in our group.
Everything from the location to the personal details and decor was amazing. We loved everything about it and it is exactly how it is pictured just beautiful. The host Brian is very easy to communicate with and is extremely helpful. We would definitely go back again.

Ski weekend
It was very clean and in great shape. It’s an old farmhouse so it creaks like one would expect an old farmhouse to do when walking around. If that bothers you, that’s something for you to take into account. It’s only around 10 minutes from Schuss ski slopes.

Great stay in Bellaire for our group of 7 adults (and many personalities!)! Everyone commented that it was one of the "best stocked" VRBOs they'd been in (plenty of kitchen essentials, TP, shampoo, etc.). The owners have done a lovely job updating the space, making it spacious and comfortable for all. We boated during the day (highly recommend M-88 Boat and Dock Rentals - where we docked our boat during our stay), and spent mornings and evenings mostly in the large kitchen and beautiful outdoor space. We also enjoyed a couple meals in the dining room, which was so fun. Easy walk to town for shopping or a snack/drink. A flattop Blackstone is provided, and I would prefer a traditional grill, but it was fine. Communication with Brian was top-notch throughout. Highly recommend this space!
