The host was very receptive and welcoming, providing recommendations for favorite island activities. The property is quiet and in a good location for exploring the island. There was more than enough room for my family of 4. The snacks provided were much appreciated after arriving late at night!

This property is located about 1,000ft elevation and enjoys cooler temps than beachside. Nice location with great sunset views.

Wonderful & Peaceful Condo

Better than photos. Very comfortable and clean condo that overlooks the golf course and ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and the nigh time breezes and lanai.

Property as advertised, no issues checking in and met our expectations. Close to golf course clubhouse and grocery store a short distance via walk or drive to access your needs.

Great location

The community the condo is in is beautiful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Little hard to find at night but directions given are accurate. Had friends with us for a few days and each couple had their own private area. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Condo was very nice and clean. It had everything as advertised. I was a little worried about no air conditioning but it wasn't needed because of location of windows, fans and trade winds. We used both pools onsite and they were both close to condo. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming 2 level condo

This 2 br 2 ba condo with spacious lanai is well located just minutes from large grocery store. It is situated on well maintained grounds just a short walk from the pool/hot tub and gas grill area. We would recommend it for 3-4 adults.

Aloha and mahalo for the comments. We have repaired the toilets and it is too bad that they broke down while you were here. The screens have been checked and they are all ok. The rattling was the blinds, and if they are adjusted (opened a bit) they will stop rattling. We appreciate the information as we cannot repair these items unless you mention them. Mahalo Ted

Enjoyed this condo and the location.

This condo was perfect for our family. The kitchen had every tool to make perfect gourmet meals. All appliances and TV’s worked, no problems. It was pretty quiet, which was nice.The downstairs beds were not very comfortable, and could use some new mattresses. Otherwise we would probably consider staying there again.

Home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Our teen boys loved having two bigger beds rather than having to share. The view of sunsets from the lanai was breathtaking.

Aloha and thanks for the comments. Ants are a continuing problem in the tropics and we find that most of them are looking for water. Despite quarterly spraying, depending on the moisture in and around the home. If they find water outside the home they will usually stay there. If we leave water and food in our homes - they will usually find there way to it. We will ask the pest control people to provide an additional visit to try to eliminate the issue. Mahalo

Kona vacation

The unit could use a thorough cleaning. There were dust balls on the wood floor under the bed. Dirt and grunge in the washer which we did not use for that reason. We were never able to make either of the tvs work. The unit was well equipped and the view was wonderful.

Waikoloa Villa-Nov-2023

This is a great location, close to the golf course, shopping centre, etc. and only 10-15 min drive from the beaches (A-Bay, Puako). It was well stocked with kitchen utensils; the only thing missing was a salad spinner. Although we had a few minor maintenance issues, these were handled promptly (thanks Alex). there was a good selection of beach items. The property was just as described and presented in the photos - beautiful view of the golf course and the ocean beyond. Parking spaces were very limited -- we had to park on the street 2 nights.

Great Condo

Our family of five stayed at the condo, which was very nice and clean. Not having an AC was an initial concern of ours, but the condo gets plenty of air circulation and all the ceiling fans helped cool us down. The complex is quiet and has two pools, which we enjoyed. Having boogie boards, foldable lawn chairs, and other items for beach outings was a plus. The only item missing were ice packs but we improvised by refilling water bottles with tap to get around that. Kona is about a 45 min drive but we only drove into town twice. Costco and the Airport are a shorter drive away. Waikoloa Village does get windy in the late afternoons, but our allergies didn’t act up!

It's like a 2-star hotel, ok, but not great.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you like to be away from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. It's a decent location. There is a grocery store and gas station less than a mile away. We arrived late at night and the first thing we noticed was the outside light was flickering, which made it seem run-down. There were ants everywhere (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen). The beds were hard. Everything was ok, but not impressive.

Aloha and Mahalo for the comments. The great part of the tropics is the weather, the outdoor activities and Aloha Spirit. The bad parts are the pests, that also like the tropics. A quick call to our office (we are open seven days a week) and we would investigated the situation for you. The complexes usually have a program in place for consistent pest control and they normally will send someone out. The residents on island use ant bait and it usually takes a day to have the ants disappear. It is unfortunate that this hampered your view of the property.

Nice Visit - horrible bed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to the islands many, many times over 50+years. We were so uuimpressed with how dreadful the bed/mattress (as well as bedding and poor sleeping pillows) so would not stay again. Although the property is nice enough, the condo was not as clean as we are used to. The downstairs bath did not even have the counters wiped down. Lot’s of sticky. The area of Waikoloa is cooler and we could not believe we could not locate an extra blanket for the cooler nights. The entire grounds are lovely and well kept. We were very impressed with your management company.

Aloha and thank you for staying at Waikoloa Villas D200. We apologize that you felt the bed/mattress was uncomfortable, it is less than 1 year old and the pillows were just replaced. We strive for perfection however sometimes we miss things. In the future we are just a phone call away and are open 7 days a week to remedy any cleaning concerns etc... We also follow up with a welcome call the day after our guests arrive to make sure they are satisfied with the cleaning and to see if they have any questions/comments or concerns. Less than good value

Our stay was affected by the lack of cleanliness in the Unit. In our unanimous estimate we believe the unit needed to be cleaned more thoroughly, seemingly the bedding and couches were well worn. There was a gritty feeling on the surfaces and bedding perhaps dust and grit got in through the windows. The fan in the main seating area exemplified the dirt since the blades were covered in dirt. Disappointedly a trip to the pool one afternoon found it full of leaves and debris, being unsuited for a swim. Overall, with some updating a regular cleaning the unit may be more suitable for occupancy. Finally, Multiple agencies represented the property, Expedia, VRBO, Love Rentals and the Host requiring vacationer to clean the unit top to bottom before departure. The Host reimbursed the cleaning fee after we complained.

Hello Joe - Aloha, Thank you for letting us know of the issues that you had with your unit. When you reached out to us and asked if you could check in early and it was approved that you would be able to drop off your bags as our cleaners would not be done cleaning the units. When they went back in to finalize the cleaning they found that you had opened your bags and unpacked, making it so that they were unable to complete the cleaning with everything that you had left all over the unit. We have also passed on your information to the condo association about the pool and outside of the unit as we do not have any control over that. We wish you had reached out to us at check in so that we could address the issues that were caused by your early check in. We hope you had a fantastic vacation.
