Nice Home Just Steps to Beach & Downtown

Perfect location for your Encinitas vacation! Walk out the front door to the beautiful Moonlight beach just steps away (300), and walk out the back gate to the charming downtown Encinitas where you will find amazing restaurants, shops, nightlife, a movie theatre and many other amenities. Take the Coaster (train) from downtown Encinitas to nearby beach towns and San Diego. Legoland is 10 minutes away, San Diego zoo, Wildlife Park and Maritime Museum are all nearby.
Not only will you love the location but once inside you will be delighted with the newly updated loft-style half duplex with a 37x13 great room, auto reclining loveseat, sofa and chair and electric fireplace. The home is newly remodeled and well stocked with everything you need to cook great meals!
Main bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed as well as a smart tv and its own bathroom. Second bedroom has bunk beds (twin on top; full on bottom), and third bedroom, where you can hear the ocean at night and feel its breezes, has a queen- sized bed and an updated bathroom next to it.
There is a deck where you can soak up the sun as well as a patio in the shade with a gas grill. There is an outdoor shower (with hot and cold water!), beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. The mini yard is fenced. The home has AC, laundry facilities and two off street parking spaces.

Such a great location and lots of room for two couples or a family. Location to the beach is excellent and walk to many restaurants and shops.

Best location in Encinitas!

Terrific property in Encinitas - location, location, location! Easy walk to Moonlight Beach and all the downtown Encinitas shops, restaurants and coffee spots. Would definitely rent again.

Amazing Encinitas Retreat

This house is as billed on listing! Could not be more convenient for short walk to both beach and town. Would definitely book again. Property owner was very helpful with anything we need.

Great space, great location

Stayed for a week over the fourth of July holiday. In total, it was 4 adults and 3 kids ages 2 - 5. The home was just the right size, three bedrooms, two baths. Had everything needed for cooking and grilling, and plenty of seating. The small outdoor patio area was great for enjoying the early evening. Note: the home does not have central air, but does have a portable unit in the master and window unit in the living room. We happened to be there during a very hot week, so we did find the two bedrooms to get rather warm until about 8pm. Not terrible, but it was warm. The location of the home is phenomenal. Short walk to the beach, short walk to restaurants, shops, breweries, coffee and the train is right there. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. The owner is very responsive and helpful, which is always a huge plus. Hope to stay again!

Everything you need for the perfect stay.

Susan's home offers a true home away from home experience! A two-block walk to the beach in one direction and the center of town in the other. Everything you need for the perfect stay. House is modern and comfortable. We had some minor issues but Susan was very responsive!

Wonderful beach house

We have enjoyed staying in this great house for many years. We love being close to the beach and town. The car is never moved except for groceries! House is fully furnished with more kitchen equipment than Sur la Table!

Loved it!

Encinitas! First off, the town itself is fantastic. And this property...location, location, location. Situated between Moonlight and the D street viewpoint - it doesn't get much better. Walking to breakfast in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings - what a great way to spend a vacation. We took some trips to La Jolla and San Diego - both are just a short ride away. This house has pretty much everything covered - from a well stocked kitchen, a really nice washer and dryer, extra beach towels, a regular household catchall drawer with tape, scissors, etc - it's a rental done right. Susan was a great host and easy to communicate with. I'd love to return to Encinitas - and if we do, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect location.

This place was ideal for our beach getaway. It was fully equipped and very homey. Being able to walk to the beach made it perfect for coming back for a bite and heading back. A few beach toys added to it as well. Love this Neighborhood and the neighbours! We will be back!

Perfect Location

We had a great time and the house was as described based on the listing. Plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy our stay. The location was perfect, just a couple blocks from downtown to enjoy the numerous restaurants and only a couple blocks from moonlight beach. We walked everywhere with no problem. Susan was very responsive to our emails and questions. She made our stay perfect. I would highly recommend this home for your upcoming vacation.

Family has been coming here for many years (same rental). Great location (easy walking distance to beach and town...you literally may never need to get in your car) and the condo is fantastic. It's clean, many amenities and large enough for extended family &/or friends. Owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Just returned and and making reservation for next summer! Encinitas beach vacation

Our family has been vacationing in Encinitas for many years and we have stayed in many rentals. I highly recommend this one! Our stay in this home was wonderful! The townhouse was close to everywhere we wanted to be...just a short walk to D street beach and a short walk to town for great coffee, delicious tacos, fun shops and frozen yogurt. The house was well appointed and comfortable. One of our favorite features was the home theater reclining sofas after a long day at the beach.

Fantastic location

This is our second stay at the house. We loved it so much the first time and the second time did not disappoint. The owner is terrific and responds right away. The location is just a few minutes walk to the beach and a few minutes to many resturants. Whenever this home is available this is where we stay!

Great location!

My family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay! The townhouse itself is very comfortable with all of the amenities needed for a longer stay (equipped kitchen, laundry, etc). The location was perfect - the beach is a couple minute walk to the west, the shops and restaurants a couple of minutes to the east. Encinitas is a wonderful town - bustling during the day, but quiet at night. I highly recommend this location and rental.

Great Location

This townhouse is in a very nice neighborhood. It was easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The location was also great for driving and our two cars fit easily. The space inside was plenty. We kept the windows opened during the day for a nice cool breeze and closed them at night... there was a little train noise but not too bad. The kitchen has plenty of items you need to cook - it seemed like everything we needed was there! Susan was very pleasant and responsive. We would stay here again.

Great Location

The townhouse provided a great getaway for a family vacation. Plenty of room for three couples without anyone getting in anyones way. Very good location. We walked into town for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. Despite being one block from Moonlight Beach the place was very quiet. We had all the amenities we needed and the host/owner was more than accommodating to a few requests.

Memorial Day Wonderful!

What a wonderful property! Owner has done an amazing job outfitting the house for a epic beach weekend. We had 6 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together, save money and enjoy each others company. Rooms were well equipped, clean and cozy. Garage was loaded with beach gear and more for a wonderful weekend with family. Moonlight Beach was 4 minute walk, I timed it. Will definitely stay here again!

Stunning house with tons of space and great location

We were visiting from Bermuda for a wedding and absolutely loved this beach house. It was right next to the water and had a great view. There was a beautiful courtyard and tons of space in the house. There is also a great restaurant nearby and a playground. My only complaint would be that the fridge downstairs was not turned on and we could not figure out how to get the oven on but overall we had a great experience.

Great townhouse to enjoy Encinitas

We are from Australia and had no idea about Encinitas but knew it was on the coast and close to San Diego. I spent many hours looking through Internet sites for a rental property for 1 week in Encinitas but most were significantly overpriced for what was being offered. I then came across Susan's townhouse and while it's not directly on the beach it's only a brisk 5 minute walk to Moonlight beach, which is fantastic. The townhouse is also only 2 minutes from the main drag in the opposite direction where there are many options for eating out or just to have a beer. The townhouse is a quite large with three spacious bedrooms, new kitchen, two bathrooms, and a huge lounge area which contain two large couches, which have 4 recliners. Our experience in the Encinitas was very enjoyable and it had a lot to with the relaxing feel the townhouse gave us. The townhouse is also very reasonably priced compared to other properties and Susan the owner was very helpful. Another big ticket was the friendly neighbours who were also kind to always stop and say hello, they even gave our kids their scooters to use for the day. It was a cool experience and if you are happy to stay a short distance away from the moonlight beach and don't won't be ripped off this is the place to stay.

Best stay on Moonlight beach!

This has to be the best stocks residence in Encinitas! The kitchen had every gadget you could imagine. We enjoyed staying in and cooking, but found many nearby restaurants within walking distance if cooking was not on the agenda. With the beach only a block away, it was always hard to stay in. The owner was always readily accessible when we had questions. We very much enjoyed this place!
