Modern luxury in the heart of Bardstown

Full Proof Penthouse provided everything and more for a long weekend in Bardstown. The location to restaurants, shopping, distilleries, and bars could not be beat. FPP was immaculate, furnishings were top notch with attention to detail noticed in every room. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Looking forward to a rerun trip!

Great space.

This apartment is not only beautiful it is in an excellent location. The beds were comfortable and the baths were spacious. The one downside is traffic noise.

Nicest VRBO we’ve seen

This beautiful property was the nicest we have ever seen! The furnishings, appliances, beds, bathrooms were all fantastic. The owners were very attentive to us and the location is in the center of Bardstown with plenty of restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors with a block or two. Notably, there is street noise due to this great location, but our family (with a 1-year-old) would love to stay there again!

Fantastic Property

The decor is stunning and the cleanlines of the unit was impecable. The beds were all very comfortable. The unit is stocked with just about anything you will ever need. Our only challenges were using the outdoor Blackstone grill - we could only get one half to light and sections of the top of the gridle had a lot of rust so we had to cook food in shifts. We also had a tough time with some of the induction stove and related cookware so we resorted to use of the microwave for certain meals. The traffic noise in town can be a little loud and it starts early for those who like to sleep in. All said - we wouldn't hestitate to go back!!

Fabulous getaway, Fabulous location.

Great location and accommodations with the newly renovated property, the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom penthouse property was excellent for our family getaway. The property was meticulously renovated for comfort and relaxation with a cross between modern convenience and old exposed barn style beams. Situated in the heart of Bardstown it was an ideal location within walking distance to many local attractions including the bourbon history museum, great restaurants, shops and tasting rooms.

Will & Alicia Hardy, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, made Bardstown their second home. Will's roots trace back to Bullitt County, where he was born and raised. Two years ago, with their partners, they embarked on the exciting project of renovating the old Holiday Inn into the luxurious Trail Hotel. Leaving behind a son in college, they now raise three teens in beautiful Bardstown while running a curated boutique, cocktail lounge, and luxury Airbnb rentals.

Will and Alicia Hardy and their partners have embarked on a journey to transform Bardstown. Their vision includes The Trail Hotel and curated emporiums. With backgrounds in real estate, education, hospitality, and events, they're adding restaurant/bar connoisseurs and boutique owners to their repertoire.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The property is on the upper level of an old bank building built in the 1920s. The old bank vault can still be found in the crawlspace of the old building, a silent witness to its rich history. Will and Alicia, with a clear vision and unwavering determination, have transformed the first level into a boutique, Kaden Lake, on one side and a cocktail emporium named Liam Ash on the other. The boutique is a loving tribute to their daughters, and the bar is a heartfelt homage to their sons. With its sentimental value, the building was purchased by the couple to help transform Bardstown into a Bourbon Tourism space, a vision that inspires hope and excitement for the future, where clients can sip, shop, and stay.
