Classic oceanfront four bedroom/three bathroom home located in Isle of Palms. Elevated beach home with an outdoor shower underneath, and two back decks to soak in the ocean views. Other features include hardwood floors, a washer & dryer, cable television in living room only, WiFi, a screened porch with a hammock facing the ocean, a sundeck that is accessed from the screened porch or back stairway, a large backyard with a public beach path beside the house, and a charcoal grill. Linens are included.
No pets. No smoking. The fireplace is not available for guest use. The interior loft area is not available for guest use.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time here! This was our second time renting the updates look great. Updated appliances that worked, bathrooms very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. Porch was best part with nice rocking chairs, and hammock.

Location, Location!

You could have not asked for a better location! Yards from the beach, great little coastal town and a short drive into the main city.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented 3306 for our family vacation. The house was clean, well maintained, kitchen,small but fully stocked, perfect for our family. But my favorite part was the screened porch and back yard. Ocean views and a breeze on the porch and my grandchildren loved playing games in the back yard(added bonus, no sandburs in those bare feet.)The house is not fancy but just what a Beach House should be.

House was great! Just as listed. Steps away from beach! Very clean with extra pillows and linens! The screened in porch was great for small kids with safety lock! We could watch the thunderstorms come and go. The real estate company that manages the house was not accessible during my stay and did not communicate via vrbo or email. Check in and out was a pain with car full of family. Great shell hunting and tide pools in afternoons for small kids!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week on this beautiful island. The home we rented had a gorgeous view of the ocean and a huge grassy backyard for my grandchildren to play wiffleball and other sports. The house needs some updating, but it was clean and functional for us. The owners should consider adding a larger television in the main room and some more towels and beach towels. The screened in porch with rocking chairs was delightful. All in all we had a wonderful week at the beach.

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I decided to take my parents on vacation. I have been to IOP and loved it. We rented this house and it was nice and cozy. We did go through the week so it wouldn’t be so crowded. My only complaint would be that by the weekend we had rowdy neighbors playing loud music and being loud themselves outside. The house is a little outdated but it was roomy and had a nice screened in porch to enjoy the breeze and watching the waves coming in.

Vintage Beach Experience

Check-in and out was seamless even though it wasn't a coded lock and we had to pick up and drop off a key. Microwave stopped working and maintenance arrived quickly with a temporary countertop replacement and shortly after came and replaced the microwave insert. During our stay we had an unannounced repairman visit to work on the "water pressure". When questioned, we were told the property owner sent him. We had to wait until he was finished to leave as he was blocking our car. More bath towels are needed. There was only one per guest making laundry duty more frequent than we would have liked. Screens on porch need to either be replaced of repaired.

I had to buy a mattress cover to put over the very old and pilled one. the house needs a can opener.The refrigerator was difficult to use since there are no shelves on the door.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a comfortable home that met our needs. One granddaughter "lived" in the hammock. The view from the upper deck was spectacular. However it is in much need of maintenance from the owner. Among other things, the drains in the two bathtubs would not close, the hot/cold knobs in the shower are reversed, and the refrigerator has a very bad backward list. There were no electrical receptacles in two of the bathrooms. We had to use extension cords from the hall receptacles. And the outside of the house is in need of attention.

Cute house, great location, frustrating management

We enjoyed our stay at the house and found the location to be PERFECT. The screened in porch, private beach access and proximity to the beach was amazing. If you have specific needs such as early check in, this may not be the spot for you. We had to pick up the keys from a realty office down the street and they were really inflexible on giving early check in. They used the same lines of "we cant confirm until day of" and when I talked them on the phone, they shared that they do not communicate or work with the housekeeping company so there was no way to know where our house was on the list of houses that needed to be cleaned and prepared for the day....I will also add, that the responses and information I was getting on Vrbo did not match what the Island Realty company told me in terms of what items were in the house such as a blender. We ended up being able to check in and pick up the keys at 1:00p, but with a 5-hour drive to get to Charleston we thought it would be silly to leave early without confirmation that we could check in early. so ultimately, we arrived closer to 4:00p, checked-in, and set up the house for the rest of my friends to arrive. All in all, this house served the purpose we needed it to and was a fantastic location with a great screened in porch. The customer service was lacking and could use some work.

Very Dated Property

The property is located in a great location, right on the beach so that was amazing. Otherwise, the place really needs some upgrading. Only one small TV in the entire house! The TV was located in the living room area, located inside a cabinet. This made it impossible for more than a couple of people to watch TV at one time and with football games on, we had to go to the local sports bar to enjoy the games. The smoke alarms needed batteries and were contsantly chirping. Called maintenance but didn't get a call back. Had to call again the next day. Cable wasn't working when we arrived. First night no TV or internet. No hot water in the one of the bathrooms and the other the hold and cold were reversed. Creepy attic upstairs that was roped off for guest use but you could still see it. Called rental company and was told a property manager would reach out but never did. Very disappointing and embarrassing to say the least.

On the Beach in Off-Season

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location as on the ocean. Nice house. Was very clean throughout when we arrived. Appeared to be all new linen which was very nice. One of the older places on the beach; needs just a little TLC. Great screen porch; upper deck needs new furniture; all but one of the upper deck plastic chairs were cracked and too weathered by years of sun and salt. Lovely view from upper deck. Big yard. Beds are not very comfortable...master and really more like cots in other 3. Closets had plenty of hangers but need larger dressers in the bedrooms. Traffic on Palm Blvd is a bit of an issue (noise and safety) and at night as well...constant stream that never ends...but you are on the ocean Enjoyed our stay; family joining us from MA and NY did as well. Island Realty immediately dealt w/ issues like ice maker, dishwasher, toilet. Also they should replace the TV and get cable...even if sparingly used, Visio, streaming service not ideal. I'd also replace the coffee maker. With 8, we'd rent a slightly larger place next time, especially if have younger children. Value for the money was spot on...unfortunately for the IoP, the beach, especially on the ocean, has become a row of McMansions...with multiple new constructions and renovations at a rapid totally unreasonable prices for a month's stay in the off-season. If you are looking for a nice, traditional beach house (not a McMansion or home) on the ocean at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Children will love it and you are on the end of the beach that gets a bunch of beautiful sea shells!

Best Beach Vacation Ever!

This oceanfront home was thouroughy enjoyed by my husband who loves to surf, his wife (me) who loves to boogie board, a son, daughter-in-law & three year old daughter (one of our precious granddaughters) who just love to hang out at the beach, swim, dig in the sand! The interior decor is relaxing. The screened-in porch including a hammock was an added bonus! While not a newer home, this home is a true beach cottage. Please don’t expect this oceanfront home to be a brand new build. But who needs that when one can see and hear the tide roll in & out, view the night sky w/o city lights, all without leaving the property?!
