We stayed in September 2026. Room has a drip coffee pot, and a Keurig in the cabinet. Host wasn't sure, so we brought our own Keurig (unsure if the one in the cabinet works). Not sure if the listing noted, but we should have brought our own beach towels, and extra room towels since housekeeping isn't included. Beach chairs are available for rent, but we brought our own. Location was great and not over crowded on a holiday weekend. Balcony with ocean view was awesome and we really enjoyed our stay. The room and resort were clean and we will try to stay here again.

Thank you for the 5-star review! Glad you enjoyed your stay at The Island 920 ā€” especially the balcony ocean view and the location for the holiday weekend. Sorry for the confusion about the Keurig; weā€™ll double-check the unit and make the coffee-maker details clearer in the listing. Thanks also for mentioning towels and housekeeping ā€” the listing notes housekeeping isnā€™t included, but weā€™ll update it to highlight bringing extra room and beach towels and note chair rental options. It was our pleasure to host you ā€” we hope to welcome you back. Luxury Beach Rentals

Thank you for the 4ā€‘star review. Iā€™m glad the pool, dining and ocean view met your expectations. Iā€™m sorry the roomā€™s cleanliness and condition fell short ā€” our housekeeping and maintenance teams have been notified and the shower is scheduled for mold remediation, baseboards and surfaces are being deepā€‘cleaned, and weā€™re evaluating furniture and bedding for replacement/refresh. If you have any additional details that would help us reach five stars, please message us via Vrbo. Weā€™d love to welcome you back.

My family and I have stayed at Island Vista multiple times. The property itself was great, as always. However, this room was a bit if a let down. Some issues i read in reviews from 2-3 years ago, still dont appear to have been addressed. The front door is very difficult to open, as is the balcony door. There is only one nightstand, which is inconvenient if you have a c-pap or just need a charging spot or lamp. There could easily fit a small table and chairs in the room but there is not. The balcony table is too small to really eat on. The bathroom sink would not drain and the shower has no shelf. You can see where a shelf probably used to be, but is no longer there. There was no rod in the toilet paper holder and the mini fridge leaked. Some of these are minor issues, but when paying a lot to stay in a nice place, you expect better. Over all, i would stay here again just for the hotel itself, but i would hope these issues would be addressed. Most are not big issues, no reason for them to not be addressed for the past 2-3 years!

The room was satisfactory for a short stay. However, the room needs a bit of maintenance. The shower needs a replacement shelf to hold toiletries & one outlet is very worn & needs replaced. Other than that, it is very clean & good for a short stay.
