The location of the house and the beach are phenomenal. Unfortunately, the house needs a thorough deep clean and updates/repairs in some areas. Would stay again if these were taken care of.

Great beach escape!

Property served us very well for our vacation. There were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 pre-teens. It was a last minute booking of this property due to an unexpected cancelation from our original property. We were so grateful this was available. The location was AMAZING. The beach access was OUTSTANDING. The home was comfortable and very spacious. The home is clearly well loved and could use a bit of TLC in certain areas, but nothing that created any issue for us and our stay. I would suggest prioritizing the kitchen and stock the heck out of it. A house that big should have a kitchen prepared to accommodate that number of guests and food. The Property Management was fantastic - super helpful and very responsive. We enjoyed our time!

Great stay at the beach

loved the location; easy access to beach, good hot tub, quick response from maintenance on a few easy to fix issues. Loved the raised pool on the same level as living area. We will make recommendations for safety improvements for those like our elderly father who was 97 and needed some help getting around. I believe it says will sleep 16, but check bed arrangements, because some would not have a private room or bath.

Overall beautiful home great location

The home was very clean and nice! Our family had a wonderful time. One major thing is how the pool is located on the deck. We had small children and older adults and walking around the pool area was not ideal. The couch in living room kept sliding apart. Other than that it was great! Beach area was very private and nice.

amazing week by the sea

this house is amazing with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The deck area with the elevated pool is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the sprinkler on the deck, walk back from the dunes to keep sand out of the pool area. We found most of what we needed in the kitchen as far as crockpots casserole, dishes, pots, spatulas, etc. We enjoyed the enclosed lighted area with ping pong and pool tables as this provided night time entertainment for our 20 something’s.Note that the two blenders seem to be worn down and their motors dont work well anymore. The grill on the pool deck also needs some attention. The ocean air seems to have corroded it and we could not get it working. Otherwise, everything was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Fabulous location for family vacation

The house is beautiful; we had 12 people staying and it fit us perfectly with room to spare. Only concern is that we had my elderly parents with us and the stairs leading down from the pool deck are not marked with a landing strip on the last stair and my Mother did fall quite hard because she missed seeing the last step. Luckily she was OK but this is a safety hazard for families with small children or older relatives. This is an easy fix and should be fixed by the management company ASAP! We simply had to ensure one of was near when she or my Father were taking those stairs to the lower part of the deck. I will also say the area to walk around the pool is quite small and you must be careful or you could easily fall into the pool. Other than that we truly enjoyed the home. The kitchen is a dream and we cooked dinner for 12 almost every night without issues- a few extra pot holders or oven mitts would be helpful. But with the beach so close it was so worth it. Also- the beach - even on July 4th- was not super crowded like the other public beaches- lot's of space to spread out and play games on the beach.

This property is as advertised and professionally managed

What's not to like. The location is perfect. It's in a quiet neighborhood right on the beach next to MB Park and literally minutes from the pier/boardwalk area where there is lots to do and plenty to eat. Spacious property has enough room for everyone. We were 7 adults and 8 children. The wide open windows in the back of the house provide breathtaking views (which included almost daily dolphin sightings). The lower-level game room is dimly lit but very functional. Would also like to point out the mgt team because it's easy to manage a property when everything goes well. But the test of property management is how they respond to a concern. I emailed them upon arrival about an issue with the hot tub and a tech was onsite in about 20 minutes to remedy the issue. Really enjoyed the property and will definitely be staying again.

Overall Great, few minor things

Overall the view, property, pools/hot tub, layout of the house was fantastic. Once you have lived in the house for a couple of days you will notice that it needs some TLC. Mainly the interior walls need major painting/caulking. Lots of stains on the walls, crayon mark, and in some of the rooms it appears they painted just the lower half of the walls in the room. Upstairs carpet had what appeared to be marker stain. I read a lot of the reviews after with the same comments. Overall the house was great and I don't want to come off as complaining but the owners should really spend a little money on the interior maintenance. The only other complaint was we have rented multiple houses before and they always have a welcome book to explain the workings of the house especially the TV. Nothing, I had some people over to watch the playoffs and it took me over an hour to figure out how to get regular stations. It had YouTube TV and I'm not even sure if the log in wasn't just a previous guest account log in that was saved.

Luxury Beach Rentals service not so much based on the below.1) We called between 12 & 2pm as told, to ask to get in early at 3:00pm. No one got back to us. Called again and this time a person answered. She said the code was sent but not to me. Someone sent CODE to wrong person. Then I called at 4:30 pm and got the code. Lost 1/2 hr of access. If I stayed 1/2 hr after checkout, you probably would you have charged me for an extra 1/2 hour? Yes or no?This is on the House owner. ONLY 6 beach chairs provided? That is UNSATISFACTORY for a house that sleeps 20 and Costs $21,093.34. By the way, the ice machine was a great add on. Have not seen it in any other property we rented.I would recommend the property to a friend but would also tell them the issues we had and to ask about them.

Thanksgiving Get Away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely vacation home. We enjoyed every day. We celebrated Thanksgiving, and there was plenty of room for all. The rooms were spacious and cozy. The view of the beach was beautiful. We initially had problems with the elevator, but the tech came and fixed the problem asap. The four outside trash bins were full upon arrival and did not get emptied until our 4th day. By this time, we had piles of trash bags in the garage. There was laundry left in the washing machine that had soured. The washing machine was also sour and needed to be cleaned. There was a terrible case of ants. The exterminator came out to spray, but that did not help. The ants were in the kitchen on the countertop, the main level bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets. There was no food in the location of the ants. There were so many ants, I had to pack some of my belongings in a trash bag to be separated from the rest of my items. This was disappointing. Overall, we had a great time. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Bedrooms were spacious and the common spaces, kitchen, dining and room were large enough to accommodate our entire group. The elevator was also a plus, though it would have been even better if it went to the third floor since most bedrooms were on that level. Downsides: 1) property needs a complete overhaul of the refrigerator because despite calls to the maintenance crew, it never cooled enough to keep milk, fruit etc without them spoiling. Thank goodness there was a back up fridge in the laundry room that worked well. 2) cutlery in kitchen - 13 forks for a house that can accommodate up to 20 made no sense. Buy a complete set with dessert forks to accommodate at least 2 meals, so one can be in the dishwasher and the other in use. 3) better organization of pots, pans, bowls etc or label the cabinets so renters don’t have to play hide and seek. 4) provide dishwashing liquid and detergent. 5) Provide 4-5 dish towels. 6) buy and immediately replace the sectional. It’s a hazard with big gaps in the corners and plenty of room for those seated to fall through. Check guest log as this was already listed as a concern by others. 7) Garage and play equipment was filthy and full if dust.

Things we enjoyed: 1. Great location and a great view of the ocean. 2. We liked the pool being high off of the ground. 3. The master bedroom and bath are very roomy. 4. The living room TV was large and had a good picture. 5. The laundry area was very helpful. Things that disappointed: 1. The overall maintenance of the rental is lacking. There were obvious signs of neglect everywhere. 2. The carpets were dirty looking and should have been replaced years ago. 3. There was mold and mildew in all upstairs bathrooms and one of the bedrooms had dried up snot on the walls. One of the showers didn't drain properly. 4. The pool is so close the door that you can easily slip on the edge of the pool. 5. Someone came to clean the pool on our second day but left a lot of sand in the bottom. We couldn't tell what if anything was cleaned. 6. The ground-level basement was dirty and the door to elevator was filthy. 7. The elevator smelled of mildew. 8. Two sconces in the master bedroom were broken. 9. The TV in the master bedroom did not work (tried to get the cable box working for an hour.) 10. The main fridge had an odor and didn't seal properly. Did not keep food cold enough. There's more but I'll leave it at that. The owners should take this review to heart and put some money back into the property. As it is today, it is not worth the price of the rental. I hope this review (if posted) steers potential renters away.
