It is the ideal location of the loft that sets it apart. There are very few private properties surrounded by large grounds in the centre of town. Once you have arrived there is no need for a car. The amenaties of the town centre are on your doorstep, the shuttle-ski-bus station is a 5 minute walk away and the Aiguille du Midi cablecar is just opposite.

The loft is designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable after an active day on the mountains. There is a large contempory living space with a log burner, exposed beams and wood floors. The kitchen is fully equiped and the balcony provided unparalled views of the Mont Blanc. There is Wifi thoughout the chalet. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 singles accommodating up to 8 people. Each en-suite shower room is supplied with large bath towels and bath products. For a cosy nightā€™s sleep all beds have feather duvets and pillowcases and white cotton bed linen.

Facilities include : Free Wifi, TV with a large selection of international channels, 3 en-suite shower rooms, washing machine, tumble drying, hairdryers, ironing equipment, dishwasher, microwave, American fridge, range cooker, private ski locker, covered parking.

Exactly as described. Really nice 4 bedroom apartment, each with own bathroom. Large and roomy open plan living area, was comfortable place to hang out, cook and eat. Easy access to town.

Great location in Chamonix

Walked everywhere, convenient to restaurants shopping and buses to ski areas. Everything in the unit worked, very clean. Owner very responsive to requests. Only complaint was the hard bed in all bedrooms-would have like a pillow top. We all left with back aches!

Quiet and convenient

Communication was prompt, check-in was a breeze, and the apartment was in a convenient location to access all the lifts, restaurants and other activities. It is just steps from the Aiguille du Midi lift. I could not believe how quiet it was at night for being right in the middle of everything. We slept with the doors open every night to enjoy the cool mountain air - just gorgeous. The kitchen and great room area is extremely spacious. Odile was very accommodating and responsive when we had an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Ideal location to stay in Chamonix

Really enjoyed our 2 weeks stay at Chalet Sapins Excellent chalet style apartment ideal for family and friends.. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Great location by aiguille du midi cable car and <5 mins walk to Main Street, bus and train station. Parking under cover (although no EV charging point available). Odile was great - kept in touch and answered all enquiries promptly. Every confidence that if there was a problem - she would sort it! Thank you.

Great family reunion

Odile's property in Chamonix was a dream - just as described, with lots of amenities in the kitchen to help make some great and memorable meals. 8 of us stayed very comfortably in the 4 bedrooms (2 adults per room). Only nitpicks are that the loft bedroom on the entry side got very warm in the evenings, despite leaving doors and windows open (this will likely be a benefit in winter!) And for our party, we would have preferred 3 queen beds for the couples and only 1 bedroom with 2 separate beds, but we made it work, and I imagine it would work great for others. Outdoor space was lovely as well, location was perfect, and Odile was very responsive and helpful before and throughout the visit. 10/10!

Great location but apartment worse than expected

It looked better on the pictures than in reality. Worn-out furnitures, uncomfortable beds, lots of things missing in terms of kitchen appliances. You could hear neighbors conversations and floor was making a lot of noise when walking. But great location and good checkin/out process. Overpriced compared to what you get.

Climbing or just lounging, this place is fantastic!

A 2 week vacation consisting of the first week climbing with friends followed by a week alone with my wife relaxing and hiking. Not much else to say except it was perfect! Quiet yet centrally located to EVERYTHING one could need. And the property manager is responsive and kind. We will be back!

Odile was a helpful, wonderful and professional host. All 4 bedrooms come with ensuite bathrooms. Large and comfortable living space for at least 8 people. Our minor issue was no condiments, sigar, oil, salt, pepper, that sort of thing in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

Very well appointed loft conversion, two streets back from the center, everything was within walking distance. The bedrooms are all good size doubles with en-suite facilities. Lounge/ dining and Kitchen area all very good size. Attentive host who was always available and nothing was too much trouble.

Het is zeker geen luxe zolder waarmee wordt geadverteerd. De veren in de zitkussens van de getoonde banken en fauteuils steken omhoog. Er is niet voldoende licht om s avonds te kunnen lezen in de zithoek. Het was fijn dat we het hout mochten gebruiken. Zonder de houtkachel te stoken was het echt veel te koud. Het aanwezige keukengerei is van goede kwaliteit en voldoende. De slaapkamers zijn simpel met redelijke bedden( voelbare veren!)en nette badkamers. Voor onze aankomst had het gesneeuwd en die sneeuw veranderde gedurende ons verblijf in een ijsvlakte. Buiten het terrein was er geen enkel probleem, binnen het hek was het spekglad en gevaarlijk, met name voor mijn zwangere schoondochter. De locatie is prima , op redelijke afstand van de bushaltes en dicht bij centrum en supermarkt.

Perfect place and location in Chamonix!

If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet accommodation close to shops and transportation in Chamonix, you will thoroughly enjoy staying in the loft of Chalet des sapins. It is a bright, charming and well-appointed place from where we could do everything on foot. We loved our stay!

The chalet is right in the heart of Chamonix town with easy access to the bus stop to get to all the ski areas. The chalet was really nice with lots of space, lovely fire and similar sized rooms - perfect for 4 couples.

Cosy nest in the heart of Chamonix

We stayed here for a few days in December 2017. It was a perfect base for our family of 5 and my brother and his two children, who were passing through on route back to Melbourne. Eight sleep comfortably here. The log fire is such a lovely feature and much needed in December as are the lovely warm duvets! Chamonix is a magical place and The Loft is close to everything. We walked to The Planards Ski area where we were lucky to take advantage of the early snow fall. This is a perfect place for beginners. Worth noting that the restaurant at the slopes, doesn't open until the 23rd December, by which time we had left. We hired our gear from Ski Set which is just a stone's throw from The Loft. They were extremely helpful here and would highly recommend. There's a discount also if you mention where you are staying. If you don't have transport, however, it might make sense to hire more local to the area you are skiing at. All in all, this is a lovely place to stay. It is secure, close to everything, a great lay out, and the owner is a delight to deal with. We were kept informed all the way from booking to arrival with emails. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting Chamonix sometime again in the future.

The photographs do not do this place justice! The apartment was breathtaking on arrival and ideal for our group of 6 with enough space that we weren't on top of each other and great for entertaining. The location was ideal for exploring Chamonix and the surrounding areas. Would definately recommend this place and would certainly stay here again.

What a wonderful apartment

We stayed at this apartment in Chamonix in early January. It was even better than described. It is well maintained, with an amazing kitchen and cool shower. Although it was cold outside, it was toasty warm inside. It is centrally located, close to a fantastic boulangerie, ski shops, bars, restaurants, supermarket. An easy walk from the bus and railway stations. It was plenty large enough for two families of four. Everyone had enough space. Odile was really helpful and communication was easy. We hope to stay there again, but it won't be for a few years (sadly). Thanks for a wonderful holiday experience.
