Roy's Modern Farmhouse by Devil's Lake

Welcome to our beautifully remodeled 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom farmhouse, located just minutes away from the scenic Devil's Lake State Park. Perfect for families, groups, or anyone looking to escape to the tranquility of nature while enjoying modern amenities.
The spacious master bedroom with bathroom is located upstairs. The other 2 bedrooms are down a small set of steps from the main floor. They are connected by and share a full bathroom. There is an additional full bathroom off the kitchen area.

There's a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, perfect for cooking up a feast. Cozy living room with a large sofa, flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace. The living room includes a queen futon and a single roll away bed with all bedding for additional sleeping space. There are 2 tables in the kitchen. 1 Large dining table that seats 8, ideal for family meals. There’s also a smaller table that’s more of a workspace, breakfast nook, or kids’ area.

Outside includes an expansive yard with a BBQ grill and firepit, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The front porch provides another oasis with plenty of seating. There is a built in ramp off the porch as an optional entry.

Nearby Attractions include Devil’s Lake State Park and Circus World Museum. Enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, and wildlife watching just a short drive away. The International Crane foundation is within 15 minutes. For Golfer's, we are just a short 2 miles from Baraboo Country Club and just 7 miles from Devil's Head Resort. In the winter, Devil's head offers beautiful Skiing. There are several local wineries and the Al Ringling brewery. Don't miss the Quaint Town Square: Discover Baraboo's charming shops, cafes, and restaurants all within about a 5 minute drive.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Very secluded, yet close to everything in town. The layout is perfect. We travel with dogs. This property allows for two families with children and dogs separation because of the way the bedrooms are laid out. Outside is great for sunset watches and s'mores with the kids. It was also enjoyable watching the deer move through the corn fields. Great walking trails close by and had no idea Baraboo was home to the Ringling Bros. The town is amazing!

The house was very welcoming and super clean. The autumn decor, cozy fireplace and beautiful scenery made our girls weekend extra wonderful. The coffee bar was the best and we loved having 3 bathrooms between the five of us. This home is in an excellent location for what we wanted to do. We hiked, hit wineries, shopped and some really great restaurants. Check in was easy and the host was outstanding.

Perfect place for a family getaway

What a beautiful house for a Mother's Day weekend with our grown children, their partners and our dogs. This house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. Spacious, with everything we needed. Planning more family getaways here soon.

Home was even better than photos showed. So clean, so well decorated and a perfect setting. We couldn’t have pictured it any better. Was exactly what we wanted and a perfect location from which to explore the Baraboo area. We hope to come back again!

Wonderful Vacation Stay

The Farmhouse was wonderful. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. 5 minutes to Devils lake area and 15 minutes to the Dells. I had many questions before I booked and they always emailed me back right away. We had a lovely time.

Wonderfully private

The house was perfect for our family of five and two boxers. Everything was clean and accessible. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own space while we still had room to gather and eat/recreate. We will definitely return, the property was perfect for our dogs. This is a rare find. Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us.

The farmhouse itself is exceptionally appointed: expansive common spaces for gathering, a modern kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, plush bedding in every room, and well-designed bathrooms that rival those of boutique hotels. There’s even a dedicated mudroom for pets and children, testament to the host’s attention to detail and understanding of what makes a multigenerational getaway seamless. Warm and inviting - Great location!

My mom and I really enjoyed this property. We were welcomed by a full width, beautiful front porch furnished with plenty of seating. Check in was easy, all information was clear and understandable. I'm going to interrupt myself here and mention how well the owners have remodeled this beautiful farmhouse. Sure, if you're a stickler for period detail this isn't your place. But if you are looking for a comfortable, welcoming retreat close to tons of activities book this now. There was plenty of storage, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was firm but not hard. All three bathrooms were lovely. The walk-in shower was a plus for my mom. The property has a huge backyard overlooking Farm fields. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful. I saw a deer, herons, and other wildlife. My mom really enjoyed being able to control the heat in her room at the back of the house off the kitchen. We are already looking for reasons to book this next year. It truly is a lovely place. It's truly a year-round property. I can picture sitting on that shady front porch in the summer enjoying my morning coffee. In the spring, it would be fun to start a fire in the fire pit. The scenery in the fall would be amazing as this property is tucked into a hillside setting surrounded by trees. And in the winter, sitting in front of that roasty toasty fireplace would be so snuggly! The property is ideally located between Baraboo and Prairie du Sac. It's close to Devil's Lake, the Merrimac ferry, and Wollersheim.

BEST GIFT EVER! As a Christmas gift to our growing family we booked our very first Vrbo here at Roy's Farmhouse in Baraboo, WI to be shared for 3 nights over the 4th of July. We packed in so many wonderful memories at this "home base". All 3 families had plenty of space: 6 adults, 4 kids four and under, and 2 dogs. Everything was clean, organized, and ready for us to get comfortable. With all of the 4th of July activities in the area we were so pleased at our easy access to Devil's Lake, Circus World, Duckboats, Dells shops and as an added bonus we even saw a few surrounding fireworks from the front porch. 3 full bathrooms, comfortable size bedrooms, kitchen with open floor plan for easy meal planning/serving, giant front porch (and some of the most well thought lighting features) we were so comfortable! With all of this fun- naps were essential and we all had our own space as needed. We met both the owner, and the manager over our time there as they made sure the adjacent Barn Haven vrbo was ready for incoming guests. We never heard a peep from the family renting Barn Haven except friendly greetings in the ample parking lot. The owner even created the outdoor spaces to feel private for each home-away-from-home location! Do not hesitate to book, you'll love the modern conveniences and farmhouse charm where everyone has space to rest, run, and make memories that beat any wrong-size gift you could buy off Amazon. We ALL had a great time at Roy's Farmhouse in Baraboo, WI!!!!
