Fantastic unit. Clean upon arrival, beach chairs and umbrella were great to have. We have stayed at Hanua Kai many times and we love the resort. Would absolutely recommend this unit.

We have stayed at Hanua Kai many times and itā€™s our favorite resort in Kaanapali. This condo was fantastic. We went with our two young girls and the 2 bedroom was very nice to have and it had a tv in the room where they could relax and wind down at night It was clean on arrival and had all the amenities and supplies including beach supplies which was awesome. I would absolutely recommend this unit to anybody. Thanks for the great stay.

Such a beautiful condo and resort

I can not say enough about this property. My mom and I decided to visit Hawaii together to make some new memories together. The unit was very nice and we had everything that we needed. Great location and the beach was amazing. I've never seen such clear and beautiful water. I felt like I was in paradise.

Great stay!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very comfortable, clean with a great balcony and view. The pools were warm and the beach just a short walk away. Grocery store is just across the road which made making meals very easy. Will be back!

It was our second time to stay at Honua Kai. The pools are wonderful and we spent a lot of time there with our 3-year old granddaughter. She loved the water slide! The beautiful beach is just steps away, which we loved!!!The unit had two bedrooms so it worked just fine for us even though there is only one bathroom. We thought the bathroom (shower & toilet) wasnā€™t cleaned properly, but overall, the unit was clean. The staff at the bell desk were all nice and helpful! We had a very pleasant stay there!!

Excellent Stay

The suite was perfectly suited for a family with two bedrooms and ample living space. Well accommodated with toys for the beach, beach chairs and umbrellas. The resort is excellent with lots of pools, beautiful beach and great service. I highly recommend!

Great family resort and condo at Maui!

We traveled with two kids age 2 and 5 years old. They had a blast! Swimming pool and the beach just feet away. It was quiet at night. Beautiful outlook to the mountains and the patio was a great place to relax and eat our meals. The kitchen is clean and had everything we needed. Costco stop after coming off the airport is so important. There is an exit to your left after leaving the parking structure and they have food trucks, awesome coffee and a famous cinnamon roll cafe right next to the resort. The beach path is amazing to just stroll with the kids. We just loved our stay!

Great place to stay with your family

The condo was as described in the listing. We stayed for 7 days and the amenities included in the unit allowed our family of 6 very comfortable and made it convenient. For instance, the host provided a couple beaches chairs, umbrella, beach tools for the kids, boogie boards, and a cooler! On average, it took us about an hour to most destinations in the island which was absolutely fine as it allowed our family to bask in the Maui landscape. Also, the host was responsive via text when I had questions. With that, I highly recommend staying here!

It was OK.

Honua Kai is beautiful Ive stayed here a handful of times. The check in was very easy. However the rooms cleanliness had prints everywhere there was dust everywhere in the extra bedroom I swept with a broom that was in the closet when we got there and the grounds were filthy. When we used the refrigerator there was a strong odor like fish like most likely from the people before . The guest bedroom sliding door has lots of wear and tear the main bedroom rug folded up and my husband and I almost tripped on it. There was a couple of towels and rags so if you have a few people staying with you its best to use the hotel towels and return them when you are done. You should bring your own toiletries because not much is provided. The pools are great fun if you have family theres a BBQ pit you can use. Theres a restaurant near the pool with great food and drinks. There is a near by grocery store if you need anything. We were only there for the weekend. But next time Iā€™ll be selecting another room. It wasnā€™t the property that was the issue mostly the cleanliness.
