Welcome to the lovely South Bethany Blue Cottage, a renovated dog-friendly home just 2 blocks from the quiet guarded South Bethany beach. It is also just up the road from the dog-friendly (unguarded) York Beach/Fenwick Island beach, and 1 mile to the Bethany shops, restaurants and boardwalk. 3BR / 2 BA Sleeps 6. You must be over 25 to rent this house, no groups, and the person signing for the rental MUST be among the occupants. Non smokers. Dogs accepted on a case by case basis. This sunny beach cottage is bright and airy, and you will love relaxing on the screened in porch facing the canal, and watching the sun reflect on the water. It has everything you will need to enjoy your get away. High speed wifi, a 42” smart TV in the living room with sound bar. A fully equipped kitchen and a large gas BBQ grill with side burner. An electric range and dish washer; a refrigerator-freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Fully quipped with dishes, bowls, cups, pots and pans, cutlery, utensils, and of course wine glasses!
Gorgeous vinyl plank flooring reminiscent of driftwood is easy-care. The open floor-plan makes it a great home for small gatherings.
The home comfortably sleeps 6+ in spacious and cheerful rooms. There is space for a crib in the primary bedroom which features a queen sized bed, and an ensuite full bath. The other bedrooms each have two twin beds in them. Total: 1 Queen, 4 Twins.
Air conditioning and ceiling fans will keep you cool. Central heat for the guests coming for a fall or winter get-away. Double pane windows .
Full sized washer/dryer in case you run out of clothes ( who needs lots of clothes when you are at the beach).
We have a small dock for fishing, launching a little kayak, or just sitting idly on the dock near the bay…

Bring your own bed linens and towels, or spare yourself the trouble and extra laundry by renting a package from any of the local rental companies .
They also rent out strollers/joggers, wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas... you name it!

Driveway Parking for 3 vehicles, and two parking passes to park on the ocean side of the Ocean Parkway in South Bethany. Plug for EV charging on the side of the house

Property is on the "bay side" of Ocean Parkway, directly on the canal.

Supermarkets (Giant, Food Lion) are nearby for stocking up , the Dollar Store is 1/2 mile away for sundry items.
The cottage is located halfway between Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD. This general area offers tax-free outlet shopping, water sports, mini golf, championship golf, fine dining, boardwalks, etc. all within walking distance to a half hour or less drive from the cottage. The Bethany Blue cottage is located a few blocks away from a shopping area which includes family style dining, gift shops, dollar store, a pizza restaurant, a gourmet cafe, some fast food options etc.

Kayaks can be rented nearby on Fenwick Island, on an hourly/daily/weekly basis-- call 302.539.7999.

Also, if you need to use a boat ramp, Fenwick Island and Assawoman are the closest ones to our house.

PACKAGE DELIVERY: we do not receive US Postal Service mail at the house. If you are having something shipped, make sure it is being delivered by UPS, Fed X or another private service.

Weekly/monthly rentals all year long. During the off season (October-May) daily rentals with a 3 night minimum stay.
