the house is in a nice gated community. its a spacious house. it was very comfortable. there was some confusion as to our arrival date and the property manager being out of town. he would be the one to meet us and give us access to gate and the house.
The owner gave me the codes over the phone and a bad situation was averted.

The good of it shows that 1) the codes provided are a valuable upgraded feature offered for groups that need access to the home at different times. 2) Check-in’s can be done with or without the manager onsite. 3) The home was clean and ready for your arrival despite the error. Finally, it’s my pleasure for my team and I to assist guest overcome unforeseen matters. Our goal is for our guest to enjoy their stay with exclusive comfort and beauty.

Very large property for a big group! This is Menifee- NOT Canyon Lake!
Pros: This property was comfortable and we all had enough room to enjoy ourselves. The community recreation area was utilized also. Plenty of clean sheets in all the rooms. Washer/Dryer available. We stayed for 5 days and left the morning of the 6th.
Cons: The cons are small. 1) The smoke alarms need new batteries- they chirp all night long. 2) Ants- but that area of the Inland Empire, Menifee, Temecula, Murrieta is notorious for ants anyway. 3) No one gets a house key. You get one garage door opener and one gate opener, no keys, (and they don't allow you to use the front door at all) which is very difficult with a large group of adults, when each are leaving and returning at different times. We had a 4am jogger who had to leave the house open so they could get back in while we were sleeping, and that is a safety issue for the sleepers. Sometimes you have to get out of bed to go to the gate to let people back in, or you are locked outside the complex gate until someone comes home and lets you in.
Other than that, it is a comfortable property once you are inside. We told the property manager these things so maybe it will be taken care of for the next group. It was a business trip so we did not have time to contact the owner.

Disappointed in over-priced home
We were largely drawn to this home for its size (5 bedrooms) and the highly advertised access to the community pool/water park. A week before arriving we found out that the pool is only available for 28 days or more rentals according to the Community rules. This stipulation is only clarified in the contract, and vaguely referenced in the online listing. When we expressed our disappointment to the owner, we only got a response that it’s in the signed contract. We were never presented a contract to sign, and when we requested to see our copy of such contract, the owner did not respond. We have stayed in several homes over the years and have always had a sense the owner was interested in our satisfaction, to include one owner who sent us a gift card to compensate us for an inconvenience that we didn’t even express a concern. In this more recent rental, the response we got was essentially I have your money, and its in the contract. So, maybe we should have caught the limited pool access on our own, but a lack of sympathy or concern for our disappointment does not reflect well on this owner. We believe that the pool access for this home is intentionally deceptive. As for the rest of the home, we were told the dishwasher doesn’t work well, that others washed the dishes by hand. Hand wash dishes on vacation? I think not! The couches in the great room are in horrible shape; one was too hard, one was too soft with a huge divot. And, the master bed mattress had such a deep depression it was uncomfortable to get a good nights sleep. There were other minor annoyances that we won’t bother with. On a positive note, the property managers were very kind and accommodating. We are planning on making an annual family gathering to this area, but we will not be returning to this house—ever.

Seeing that my team and I try to provide exceptional service, at a low cost, it is regrettable, that we cannot please every guest, which is our desire. It is a thrill to see and know that guests have enjoyed the home and have been totally in awe of its beauty not captured by the pictures provided.
I am saddened that a seemingly intellectual person failed to carefully read the information provided on my page, thus, resulted in my being blamed for her oversight. Once the guest contacted me, I showed her where to look on the sight to see that I, in NO way, tried to provide false information or to be deceptive. Further, the headline on my page does not advertise or highlight the use of the pools. It states: Beautiful Gated Community Where You Can Go Fishing, Walking, Running & Bicycling. Every guest, prior to booking the house is provided with an online contract which stipulates the access to the pools being limited. Again, unfortunately, this guest failed to read the contract provided. I did provide this information to the guest, for which she still was not satisfied. Every guest has the option to contact HomeAway to see a copy of the contract or for any other reason.
All the other matters brought to light by this guest, I was not aware of. They have been looked into and addressed.
The home is not overpriced. It is actually one of the cheapest rates for the area considering the size of the home, its location and amenities provided.
I look forward to the joy of my future guest.

Spacious and comfortable
The property manager was very accommodating. The home was large and spacious but comfortable. House has 2 central air units and separate controls for upstairs and downstairs. Even though it was 105 outside it was cool indoors. Large kitchen made cooking fun with a large group. 3 bathrooms was nice so everyone had their time to get ready. Pool items for kids were in the garage. The stay was very nice.
