Family Friendly Lakefront Cottage, Ambajejus Lake

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun.

This is a large (1600 sq. ft.) kid friendly cottage that has all of the conveniences of a home with the beauty and charm of a lakefront cabin. The construction was finished in 2024 so everything is new including the furniture and appliances.

The cabin waterfront is in a shallow cove. The depth at the end of the dock is less than 3 feet making it a good place for wading and exploring for kids. Water shoes recommended.

This 3 bedroom cottage has the size and amenities of a full sized house. There is a master suite with a king sized bed and an attached master bath with double vanities, a large tiled walk in shower, and a large closet.

The kids bedroom has a top bunk that is a twin bed and a full sized lower bed. There is also a twin sided trundle bed that slides out from the bottom of the bunk.

The third bedroom has a queen sized bed.

The main room has large windows and a great view of Mount Katahdin. There is room here to put two or more additional air mattresses.

There is a fire pit and a Traeger wood pellet grill on the side of the deck.

The dock is also a nice place to hang out. You can watch the little fish swimming next to the dock. The shallow cove makes it a good place for children to play in the water. The end of the dock has only 3 feet of water. Note that younger children and children that can not swim should always be observed near the water and be wearing life jackets.

There is a workspace area with a desk and high speed Starlink WIFI (100Mbps).

There is a fire pit and a Traeger wood pellet grill on the side of the deck. You can utilize the firepit to cook food, roast smores, or just to relax and enjoy the views of the lake.

The dock is also a nice place to hang out. You can watch the little fish swimming next to the dock. The shallow cove makes it a good place for children to play in the water. The end of the dock has only 3 feet of water. Note that younger children and children that can not swim should always be observed near the water and be wearing life jackets.

Take a spin in one of our Kayaks or put the floating water mat in and enjoy relaxing and playing on it.

The water on this property is from a 400 foot deep well and is suitable for consumption.
