The Space:
R.House offers a boutique hotel-quality experience within a beautifully designed modern home, creating the perfect getaway amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains and Coosawattee River.

Nestled in a quiet private neighborhood, the house itself is enveloped by a diverse array of towering trees. 3 wooded acres ensure privacy for you and your group to fully enjoy the modern landscape and outdoor amenities. The backyard features a tranquil fire pit, encircled by cozy Adirondack chairs, perfect for listening to the soothing sounds of the rushing river, savoring a crackling fire, and creating unforgettable memories.

Two expansive outdoor decks, totaling over 1,400 square feet, feature inviting living spaces with two fireplaces, a selection of lounge and rocking chairs, and outdoor dining areas perfect for al fresco meals. The decks also include a gas grill, corn hole, and a luxurious hot tub, ensuring a complete and enjoyable outdoor experience.

Living Room:
The main upstairs living area features a mid-century modern sea-salt gray sectional, adorned with plush pillows and blankets, complemented by a timeless Charles Eames lounger, and brown leather arm chair with ottoman. This inviting space is ideal for relaxing, reading, conversing, or watching a movie by the fireplace. A vinyl record player with Bluetooth capability is available to set the perfect sonic ambiance. From the living room, you can directly access the breathtaking outdoor deck, take in the scenic views, and enjoy the soothing sounds of the river by fire.

There is also a convenient half-bath located just off the living room and main entryway.

Dining Room:
Amidst the open floor plan, the dining room anchors the tall, sloped ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, creating the sensation of dining in a contemporary treehouse. A solid wood dining table, comfortably seating eight, is perfect for enjoying delicious meals and engaging in memorable conversations.

Kitchen + Coffee Station:
R.House boasts a fully equipped, minimalist gourmet kitchen, complete with all the essentials for crafting your favorite comfort recipes. A dedicated coffee station is set up for making the perfect pour-over, French press, or a quick cup of joe. Enjoy a peaceful start to your day with a view from the breakfast island, overlooking the expansive kitchen window.

A spacious pantry and a well-equipped laundry room are located just off the kitchen, providing added convenience to help you feel right at home.

Bedroom 01 — “Stone”:
Located on the upper level, Room 1, aptly named "Stone" for its black, gray, and brown neutral tones, features a king-size bed with a rattan headboard, reading lamps, side tables, coasters, full length mirror, and a spacious dresser. This room leads out to a spacious portion of of the upper deck with cozy pod-style chairs for sipping your morning coffee and taking in all the sights and sounds.

The luxurious attached bathroom is fully equipped with a resort-like steam room. Enjoy the standard shower head with wand, two large rainfall shower heads, and a tub with tray for reading and relaxing by candlelight. Additionally, the generous primary closet offers a cozy retreat with a rug, cushioned bench, wardrobe, lux bath robes, hamper, and a convenient pack-n-play in case you bring a little one along for your stay.

Bedroom 02 — “Sand”:
Located on the lower level, Room 2, named “Sand” for its neutral cream and tan tones, features a king-size bed with a woven headboard, side tables, a solid wood dresser, full length mirror, and a reading lamp. Enjoy direct access to the hot tub and expansive lower deck from this room. The attached bathroom is light and airy, offering a spacious shower stocked with everything you need for a relaxing and private retreat.

Bedroom 03 — “Clay”:
Located on the lower level, Room 3, named “Clay” for its terracotta desert palette, features a queen-size bed with a full-size loft bed above it. The room also includes two side tables, a full-length mirror, a floor lamp for cozy accent lighting, and succulent plants. Enjoy direct deck access with modern rocking chairs for two. The spacious walk-in closet is ideal for shared use, and the nearby third bathroom is serene, with forest green tiles, gold accents, and ample storage space.

Basement Living Room:
The lower level living area compels your attention toward an incredibly cozy green velvet couch, enhanced by extra pillows, blankets, a rich leather arm chair, and nesting coffee tables. This inviting space is ideal for group game nights or movie marathons. Just steps away, a convenient wet bar/kitchenette offers easy access to your favorite beverages. Step outside through the sliding glass doors to a cozy outdoor area with a fireplace, perfect for enjoying a coffee or glass of wine while you start the day or unwind in the evening.

Adjacent to the lower level living space, you'll find a fully-equipped game room featuring a professional-grade ping pong table, exercise mats, and pickleball gear (private courts located conveniently in the neighborhood). Step outside onto the deck to enjoy a game of cornhole, followed by a relaxing soak in the spacious hot tub.

Rest assured, a conveniently located desk, chair, and workspace for your laptop are available just beneath the staircase downstairs. · Apple Orchards & Wineries: Within a 30-minute drive, you’ll find numerous apple orchards and wineries offering “you-pick” orchard tours, an array of delightful apple treats, wine tastings, live music, and breathtaking views. Fun fact — Ellijay is famously known as the Apple Capital of Georgia!
· Quaint Downtown: Just 15 minutes away, the charming downtown Ellijay offers a delightful array of boutique shops, local restaurants, tasting rooms, and more.
· Other Local Attractions: Explore nearby Amicalola State Park, Carter’s Lake, The Ocoee River Rapids, and Downtown Blue Ridge for more shops, restaurants, craft coffee, and a railroad tour. Exciting adventures are only a short drive away!
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor areas, minus two locked closets. Self-check-in with a smart lock ensures a smooth and flexible arrival.

· Check-out is at 10 am

* A rental contract will be sent upon booking. A signature will be required within 48 hours in order to fully complete the booking process. Failure to sign the contract within 48 hours can/will result in loss of booking. *

Other things to note:
This is the mountains! So if you're driving yourself or renting a vehicle, we always recommend all-wheel drive for the most comfortable navigation up and down the various hills that North Georgia has to offer.

Our property is located on a gravel road, and our drive way also consists of well-maintained crushed gravel. The driveway declines downhill toward the house, getting closer to the river's elevation, so be mindful of your speed as you come and go!
