THE SPACE
You will be staying in our beautiful villa away from the ‘madding crowd’!
This Internationally designed villa has been built with the upmost quality in mind.
Surrounded by rice fields with gorgeous valley views you will be seduced by the peaceful location, experience true local culture and yet you are only an 10 min drive (3.5kms) from Ubud Palace (centre of Ubud)
Away from the busy streets of Ubud, but close enough to go in when you wish to.

If you are 1 or 4 guests, you will have the entire villa to yourselves. There are NO SHARED FACILITIES (Pool etc) and we are completely private.
Easy road access to the villa and parking for cars.

Guests always say their favourite things about Villa Saudara are our staff. It's true. They are so lovely.
Headed by our experienced and knowledgeable manager Made (pronounced Mad-ay) who is responsible for the overall operation of the villa.
He will be there to meet and greet you and to go through any questions you may have on arrival.
He is more than happy to advise on tours, drivers, in house massages, spas, yoga and anything else you may require during your stay with us.
We also have folder information regarding best Spa’s, Yoga Venues etc in the villa.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
We can arrange airport transfers to & from our villa at a rate of Rp 450,000 per car per way. Please kindly provide us with your flight details (flight number & time of arrival) so we can make arrangements.
It is best to use our drivers as they know Ubud and drivers from outside the area often get lost!
If you are at alternative accommodation and require to be picked up from there, we can also organise this for you (price on application)

BEDROOMS/EN-SUITE BATHROOMS
We have 2 expansive and spacious bedrooms with beautifully comfortable King Size beds and luxurious linen. Each with their own ensuite bathrooms and air conditioned for your comfort.
Each bathroom has a deep terrazzo bath to soak in, separate shower, toilet and 2 terrazzo vanities in each.
Large built in wardrobes also grace each bedroom.
One bedroom has a 'work desk' should this be required.
Both bedrooms have safes.

LOUNGE/DINING
Light and airy ‘open plan’ design, allowing the outdoors to become part of the indoor living, we have designed all doors to fold right back inviting one to sit and enjoy the wonderful views over the private pool and valley with ease.
There is no A/C in this area. Our guests find ceiling fans are sufficient here as the doors are preferred to be left open.

Offering high-speed Biznet fibre optic internet and Satellite TV with Netflix.

KITCHEN
A completely fully equipped kitchen with marble benchtops, you will feel a lovely sense of space. Fully equipped with everything you will need during your time with us.

BREAKFAST
Relax in the knowledge that our lovely girls can cook you a delicious breakfast in the morning (we make amazing banana or green pancakes!) and will service the villa every day. If you prefer complete privacy, we respect that too.

(Breakfast cost 75,000IDR (35,000 for child) per person

We will happily provide a 'Floating Breakfast' for you if you prefer this option. (Cost 350,000IDR per couple)

DINNER
Our chef will happily cook for you 'in house' or if you prefer, or will deliver your choice from her menu (please note this is Balinese food only).
Menu can be sent to you in advance.
She also does a wonderful 'cooking class' for those wishing to know more about Balinese cuisine.
Guests love to pre-order dinner for their night of arrival!

DRIVERS
Karma (our head driver) and all our drivers are incredibly knowledgeable and will happily advise on tours (half day (4 hours) or full day (8 hours) you may like to experience. There are SO many attractions and cultural sites to visit. They are also happy to provide local knowledge about customs and history. They all speak English.
For booking simply discuss with me on arrival. I can also provide advice on places to visit.

OTHER SERVICES
If you would like an ‘in house’ massage, we are happy to organise this for you on our professional massage bed. (Cost 270,000IDR per hour)
Private Yoga Lessons can also be arranged.

Please note that you will also be given a free LOCAL MOBILE phone so that you can contact Made at any time. However, we all use Whats app in Bali so it may be useful to download this prior to arrival.

The area is rich in flora and fauna. Birds, butterflies, dragonflies frogs and little gheckos are daily visitors. You may be lucky enough to see the glow of our fireflies dancing at night!

We are more than happy to assist you with absolutely any request.

Ubud also has a complete plethora of restaurants ranging from amazing 5 Star Fine Dining to more casual dining experiences. A wonderful selection of organic/vegan restaurants also to be explored. You really are spoilt for choice!
We have folders with our recommendations and all contact details in the villa for your convenience.
We have an array of small cafes in our street (10-20 mins walk) if you want to eat 'local' and a hotel opposite which has a cafe.

A huge selection of shops (from Ubud Markets to Designer), the famous Monkey Forest, Art Galleries, Cultural Sites and much more.
All very near to you.

This property is not suitable for children (under 6) due to the pool being unfenced. However, we are happy to provide nannies should you wish to bring your toddlers but be able to relax with peace of mind. We have a portacot and highchair for your use.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Because we are close to the rice fields and the healthy ecosystem of Bali you will notice geckos which make a cute "gek-ko" sound.
They are nothing to be afraid of. In fact, they eat the Bali bugs, which is a good thing.
Please understand that the tropics are always full of little creatures, and if this is likely to bother you you should consider a resort where they choose to spray their entire grounds to remove all the insects.

Since we are also in a rural area, seasonal noises from the field from rice farming and local temples may carry across the fields. This is the paradox of visiting Bali - it’s a growing mix of modern and ancient which the Balinese themselves manage with a gentle and effortless smile. It’s really what makes this island special.

Please note that our nightly price includes 2 guests (1 bedroom). Extra guests are charged at $30 per person per night.

- Q: What time is the Check-in policy?
-A: Please be informed that check-in time is at 14:00 by default. Arriving earlier? No problem, we will manage for you to drop your luggage first and start exploring the area while waiting for the villa to be ready.

- Q: What time is the Check-out policy?
- A: Our check-out time is at 10:00am by default. Late check-out is subject to availability and may involve extra charge.
Whilst we do our best to accommodate our guests in these situations, please note the following:
If you know you have a flight later in the day, you have a few options :
1. If we have no guests in after you on the same day, you are welcome to stay till 11am.
2. If you would like to stay after this time, you will be charged at 50% of the daily rate which enables you to stay till 3pm.
Any check out after this time will be charged at a Full Daily Rate.
We highly suggest that if this is the case, you consider above as we know its not easy to arrive at the airport hours before your flight!

If you need to store your luggage after check-out time, you are welcome to do so.
