Oropopo House is a space for travelers who enjoy sharing with others; this space connects us with simplicity and nature. In total, we have 2 rooms, Sun Room and Moon Room, which are rented separately.

The bathroom, kitchen and terrace are shared. We have 25 megabits of fiber optics and access to a lovely shared pool.



Less than 10 minutes from the beach, restaurants and supermarkets, we have a great location, in the heart of Playa Chiquita!

The space

Welcome to Oropopo House, immersed in nature and close to white sand beaches, it is the perfect place to relax, meditate, do yoga or just read a book in the hammock while listening to the sounds of nature.



The DEL SOL room is available for your stay! It comes with a double bed for up to 2 people.



Shared spaces include a kitchen with all the basics for cooking, full bathroom and terrace. Please note that Casa Oropopo is a house for travelers who enjoy sharing during their stay; in total, we have 2 rooms that are rented separately.



We have 25 megabits fiber optic!



You can also use the swimming pool in the hotel next door! Just a 2 minute walk from your room!



Please note that we only have rainwater and well water; you will need to obtain potable water for drinking and cooking. Although the well water has been tested and is considered safe, it has a yellowish-yellowish tint.



On the same property, you will find other vacation rental homes, all are completely independent, but we share the same entrance. We like to foster a sense of community; a smile and mutual respect are always welcome.



No parties, loud music or drugs are allowed here. We prefer to enjoy the sounds of nature, bird watching and contemplating the almond tree garden. Sloths, howler monkeys, agoutis, toucans and other birds often visit us.



We are within walking distance of the beach, supermarkets, restaurants and laundry. We are only 20 minutes by bike from Puerto Viejo, 10 minutes from Cocles beach, 20 minutes from Punta Uva beach and 45 minutes from the Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge.



Renting a bicycle is the best way to get around here; you don't need a car to get to the house: you can walk, use a bicycle and also have the option of public buses, tuk-tuks and cabs. Another excellent option is to rent a scooter.



It is located in a "Pet Friendly House". Only one pet is allowed per stay, and this must be approved in advance. Before booking, please check with us about the conditions and policies of the "Pet Friendly House", as well as the possibility of bringing a second pet. Please note that an additional charge of $20 per pet per stay applies.
