Experience Trout River like a local in this 3-bedroom bungalow.

Trout River is a small rural fishing town located on the southern coastal edge of Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland, near the Tablelands.

This town is known for its sunsets over the water and boardwalk. It has many small hiking trails to take in and one of Gros Morne's longest hiking trails, 14 km return, The Trout River Pond Trail.

There are many other attractions in the small town like the elephant head mountain, many hiking trails and a sea stack referred to as the old man.

The primary bedroom feature a queen bed, second room has bunkbed with double on bottom and single overtop and third has double bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. With amenities like a washer and dryer, energy effecient heat pump with air conditioning you'll feel right at home. The bathroom includes a bathtub with shower and hair dryer for added convenience. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.

Well equipped (except no tea pot), very clean, easy to find and great location to walk the town, take advantage of the trails and all sights the area has to offer. The Seaside Restaurant is a must visit

We love the property. It was very clean and good communication with the owner. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and then some. Trout River is a quaint and nice little village.

Comfortable stay

Marty and Keala's home was comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Their place felt like home and the bunk bed was enjoyed by the two young boys in my group. Marty was easy to communicate with, provided lots of suggestions for places to see/things to do, and made sure our stay was great. Would highly recommend this place in Trout River!

Trout River is a beautiful place! This was a great place and Marty is very responsive. There was a boil water advisory in place and Marty called the local store and prepaid for water for us! He was also helpful in making fishing suggestions for my husband. The only downside was lack of wifi and TV (there was a TV but with no cable or satellite and the DVD player wasn't working).

Hi Cassandra Happy to hear you did enjoy Trout River. Our apologies for the DVD player. It took more time than planned to get one, unfortunately it didn’t get replaced until after your stay. Thanks for the feedback on internet. We didn’t advertise internet this year and based on feedback folks preferred to be remote location and unplug. We are, however, looking into having it installed so travellers like yourself will have access if you choose. Thank you again for staying in our home and enjoy the remainder of your summer. Family Time

Had a great stay paddle boarding on Trout Pond, swimming, paddle boarding on ocean, hiking and dinner at the Seaside. Everything was amazing. Such a welcoming community. We also did the Zodiac tour on Bonne Bay. i would recommend it all! House was just what we needed and offered everything. Can’t find something..just contact Marty!

Thank you for the feedback. Any concerns or repairs needed can be addressed 24/7 by the contact numbers provided during your stay. We recently had the shower repaired by a contractor. I just followed up with the current renters and everything is working normal in the bathroom.

Keala was raised in Trout River and return as much as possible to be home with family and friends. Marty is from Summerside just outside Corner Brook NL and we also met on a trip back home. We both enjoy our visits to see family and friends where we also get to take a break and do sight seeing of our beautiful province, sometimes in boat and often on ATV. Our honeymoon was actually snowmobiling in NL.
We want to share our little town with everyone because its such a beautiful little place filled with fantastic memories and adventures. The people are friendly and welcome tourist. We decided to purchase a home and share it with folks from all over so they can also have the same memories as we do of sunsets, stars and the crashing waves along the shoreline. We currently reside and work in Ontario not to far from our son, daughter in law and two beautiful grandchildren. When we return home we love to walk the beach to look for treasured sea glass and take in the fresh air. There is “no place like Home”. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
