Family long weekend over 4th of July

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nine of us spent a long weekend on the island over 4th of July. There was plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the outdoor table on the balcony. The pool was nice but we didn’t swim in the lake as it smelled a little fishy. The condo location was great. We liked being close to all the action downtown but far enough to have some quiet time. We used the grills on site which worked great. I would recommend packing foil and spray oil. We rented golf carts which is a must. It was easy to book through the rental company. The only downside was that we arrived to the island early and had to kill time downtown until everything was ready. We ended up taking the bus downtown for $3.50/person and had lunch. It worked out great, but we didn’t realize the ferry was on the opposite side of the island from downtown. Bring cash for the bus ride. The condo complex was well maintained with lovely flowers. We would recommend this property to anyone with a large group staying on the island. The owners were responsive and friendly!
Resposta de VrboOwner em 9 de jul. de 2026
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear your group had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend and that the condo provided plenty of space for everyone. It's great to know you enjoyed the balcony, the pool, the outdoor grills, and our convenient location that offers the perfect balance of being close to downtown while still providing a peaceful place to relax. We're also glad the golf cart rental process was easy and that our team was responsive and friendly throughout your stay. We appreciate you sharing helpful tips for future guests as well. Thank you for your feedback regarding your early arrival. We understand it's never ideal to wait before check-in, especially after traveling. During holiday weekends, we have many same-day departures and arrivals, so our housekeeping team works hard to prepare every property as quickly and thoroughly as possible. We're glad you were able to enjoy lunch downtown while everything was being readied. Thank you again for your recommendation. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome your group back to Put-in-Bay for another memorable getaway!

Lake Time is the Best Time!

Location! Location! Location! Couldn't be a better spot for Bash on the Bay. Spent the first half of concert days by the pool and then an easy walk to the concert venue. After that, out to listen to some local bands and grab a late night bite. Syaed around for the weekend and explored the island and hopped over to Kelleys as well. Great visit!
