Stay two miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, minutes from downtown shopping and dining, and enjoy access to cable TV with free DVD movie rentals, game room with pool table, and a heated pool in the summer. River Song is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath chalet featuring two queen beds, one full futon, and a full kitchen (minus oven), Estes Park, Colorado rental that is the perfect place to stay for your next vacation. Dine on the patio with a gas grill or unwind in front of a wood-burning fireplace. Stays include complimentary snowshoe rentals during the winter and free Wi-Fi. Dogs welcome with approval ($25 per dog/per night) but no other pets and no smoking, please. Sleeps six.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. We weren’t able to connect to the WiFi and the club house closed earlier than we had hoped.

Easy check in. All necessities provided. Very smooth stay. The cabin is simple, but had everything we need. I will note that the mattress on the hide-a-bed is thin and it has mechanical issues. However, everything else was fine. The shower temperature and water pressure is excellent, which is important to my husband. :-)

We will double check the mattress on the sofa sleeper, and look into possible changes to make the sofa sleeper more easily operable. For future stays, we do have Vrbo units that have two bedrooms as a sofa sleeper is not the same as a physical bed. We hope you can come back in the future. Jamie

Quick Getaway

There are several positive reasons to choose this property when looking for a place to stay. One of these include the location. You are far enough out of town to be away from bunches of people yet close enough to easily access places you’ll want to such as groceries, gas, restaurants and shopping. There is a walking path nearby but sadly you have to walk along the roadway for a bit to access it. Being pet friendly is great. Almost everything we did in the area welcomes well behaved dogs. There is a great dog park in town that is awesome to have your little buddy burn off some energy.I was a bit disappointed in the lack of cooking availability. There is no oven which I should have been able to find in the listed amenities so I’ll accept that, but there is also limited cooking utensils. Would have been nice to have a skillet to use to cook eggs for breakfast. The gas grill provided was awesome though for grilling supper. Lots of wildlife in the area to watch.Overall, I would recommend it as a place to stay. Price is in line with what you get.

I am not sure of the walking path you are referencing, but it may be the cement path provided by the Town. The Town just recently extended that path. I am sorry that you did not have all of the items needed for cooking. I hope you took the opportunity to contact staff and let us know. We will certainly do an inventory of items and add pieces as needed. Your input is valuable and we appreciate you taking the time to share with us. Seeing wildlife nearby is always a treat.
