The Space
This spacious first floor furnished two-bedroom flat in Chennai is within a 7-minutes walk from the beach and about the same distance from the bustling East Coast Road (ECR). Set in a charming, old Madras-style house of 1978 vintage, it has internal and external staircases through which the first floor can be independently accessed. The flat has access to three private balconies and covered parking. There is also a large two-tiered terrace above the flat.

Well decorated throughout, both bedrooms have attached bathrooms and comfortable storage cupboards. There is a separate detached room which can double up as a quiet study, studio, meditation room, or space for a spare bed. The living area and bedrooms have air-conditioning. Internet connectivity is available. The dining room is separate from the kitchen and living room, proving ample buffer space as well. Since the owners have an artist in the family, guests can enjoy some original art on display (enquiries for purchase are welcome).

The building is conveniently located for everyday needs like groceries, snacks, toiletries, stationary, a small pharmacy, and even ironing services. Food delivery is also quite easy in the area. While the nearby beach is a popular place for singles, friends, families, walks, weekend yoga, and local activities, the ECR is lively with restaurants, entertainment, and other shopping.

NOTE: Water supply is ample. But sometimes water pressure may be low for showers, especially when the washing machine and showers are used simultaneously.
