Budget friendly

My spouse and I stayed the weekend, it was fine. Check in was simple as well as check out, Although we didn’t spend much time at the property except to sleep. Property had all the basics. The beds were not great for my back, but the furniture was nice.

Disappointing Stay - Wouldn’t recommend

Our stay at this property was very disappointing, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. The condition of the home was far below acceptable standards, and the listing was misleading in several ways. The apartment was extremely dirty upon arrival. There was hair all over the bathroom, the towels didn’t smell clean, and the furnace filters were filthy, which made the air quality terrible. To make matters worse, the entire home smelled strongly of cigarettes and marijuana, which was overwhelming and unpleasant. The host promised to deliver replacement filters for the furnaces on night 1 and hadn’t shown by the time we checked out on day 4. The host had also assured us there were enough beds for our family of 6, but this was not true. We were instructed to use the couch as a bed for two people, which was completely unreasonable and uncomfortable. The overall lack of care in maintaining this property was evident. It’s clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are not a priority. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise against booking this property.

DO NOT STAY. Not as listed. Dirty, smelly, scary, dark

Was looking forward to a weekend getaway with spouse and baby. Online listing looked affordable and nice. Upon arriving at the apartment, several things hit us at once. First, was active burning candles making us think someone was there…second it was mid November, and there were evil looking skeletons hanging on walls, above the couch was a bloody sign saying “no one leaves”. It was horrifying feeling with having just lost a friend to rape and murder, and standing in the doorway with my young family. Third was the smell. The smell of weed permeated throughout the whole apartment. To cover this smell, the owner left burning candles in every room. Fourth was the dark. No light in the living room. Half the lamps in the bedroom did not work. Last, was the dirt. It was so dark we could hardly tell at first. Wads of dirt and hair in corners. Open containers of Vaseline and lip gloss under the couch. We have a crawling baby, there was no way we could stay. We ended up leaving after less than 30 minutes. The host said they would look into the refund process and has since ghosted us. Do not stay here.

Don’t book

One toilet wasn’t attached to the floor. The mattresses were terrible. Beyond 2 full size beds, a huge velvet couch counts as sleeping space with no additional pillows and a random bin of sheets. Air conditioning units and filters were disgusting. Kitchen barely had anything in it, and I couldn’t even reheat leftovers. We left ASAP and our stay was refunded

Huntsville

After repeated attempts to contact my host, I had a bad feeling about this. We went to Huntsville and found someone else was living in the apartment. The host took my money and we had nowhere to stay. We found a motel to spend our vacation in.

Short stay but not clean stay

The pictures were accurate but very misleading. There was spots all over the walls. There was a very unpleasant smell in the apartment. The owner was not as communicative as I would’ve liked. Although there were issues it was located in a convenient area for food and convenience/grocery stores.
