Lula Bungalow is our Honeymoon Bungalow in Banana Beach. Steps from the pool and ocean, this is the perfect place to spend your tropical vacation. With a large King-Sized Canopy Bed, Lula Bungalow is a great choice for newlyweds and couples. There is a daybed as well, for an additional person. Maximum Occupancy is 3 people.

Our bungalows have High Speed Fiber Optic WiFi, cable television, private bathroom with hot water, an equipped outdoor kitchenette, refrigerator and coffee maker. Each bungalow has a safe, air conditioning, and cozy terrace with a hammock and chairs. Sit on the terrace with a cool drink and enjoy the garden.

On the beach, you'll find the Banana Beach Restaurant. You can relax in our beach chairs and enjoy the ocean, with a cold beverage or tasty meal. Banana Beach Restaurant is a great place to enjoy the wonderful Costa Rican sunsets. Banana Beach Restaurant has live music every night and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 2 for 1 cocktails are available all day.

The beach break in front of the property is one of the best in Santa Teresa, and during the high season is the first choice for surfers in the area. Santa Teresa's waves are renowned throughout the world, and the Banana Beach Surf Break is one of the reasons why.

The perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy your trip to Costa Rica!

We went to Banana Beach Bungalows in December 2016 for the second time and had a very good time there. The bungalows have all been renovated since our last visit in february 2015 and it's beautiful!! Nothing bad to say about the staff: they are just great! We will definitely go back to banana beach bungalows during our next trip to Costa Rica!

So relaxing!

Very similar to the description online, this bungalow was very comfortable, clean, and close to all the businesses. It was also a huge advantage to have a really awesome restaurant right next to it aunt in front of the beach. The food is overpriced but it is very good. I absolutely recommend Banana bungalow‘s!

Behond any expectantion

Me and my boyfriend came to Banana Beach for 11 nights after few times at Santa Teresa and it was defiantly the best place that we ever stayed in Santa! The staff was really kind and helpful with everything we needed. The bungalow was amazing and they have everything that you will need for a perfect vacation; huge bed, great shower, full equipment kitchen and great balcony. The beach, the pool and the restaurant are just few steps from the room and we enjoyed each one of them. We're defiantly gonna come back to Banana Beach!

Beautiful rooms, great location, EXCEPTIONAL service!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this gem of a resort during the second half of our honeymoon. This resort offers you the best of ALL worlds. The bungalows are beautifully decorated and well equipped. The resort is suitable for couples, families and singles alike. While this resort is one of the best nighttime hot-spots in Santa Teresa, leaving you with no shortage in the entertainment category, the bungalows are set back far enough from the beach/restaurant that you still have the luxury of seclusion if that is what you choose. The food in the restaurant is top notch as well. In addition, it is conveniently located within walking distance to everything that you need, banks, yoga studios, supermarket, and many other restaurants. And it just so happens to be located on one of the best beach breaks in Santa Teresa making it a surfer's dream! All of this alone is reason enough to stay at Banana Beach Bungalows. But what sets it apart from other places to stay is the concierge extraordinaire, Hagit! She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, effortlessly fun and exhilarating. Her help was insurmountable, scheduling surf lessons, excursions, taxi rides and making restaurant reservations for us during our stay. She is friendly and accommodating! She even went out of her way to locate items we left in our room after our departure and make arrangements to have them returned to us in the US. Banana Beach Bungalows, Hagit, thank you for the wonderful hospitality!!

A great place and experience

My wife and I spent there a week at the end of Jan. 2017. The bungalow was very nice, clean, pleasant and close to the beach. Service was very good and helpful. Very welcoming and nice, a great place. We had a great experience and will recommend it to anyone. Dagi, Germany

BANANA BEACH IS THE PLACE TO STAY!

Look no further! If you are thinking about Santa Teresa for your vacation- BANANA BEACH IS THE PLACE TO STAY! I cannot say enough good things about the Banana Beach!! The resort itself was beautiful but the friendly and outgoing staff made our trip unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were a group of 20 people and rented both the Villa Bonita as well as couple bungalows, the villa was cozy and luxurious as well as the bungalows , and it had everything we needed and then some! The cleaning staff was fabulous and that’s not easy job with a large group of kids. The Banana Beach grill has delicious and fresh food and shakes and the entire atmosphere is just heavenly! (Not to mention the great restaurant staff which are awesome) During our stay we had a medical emergency and they were so helpful in every way that I cannot thank them enough. If it wasn’t for their help during this emergency we would have had to end our vacation immediately. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for an amazing and relaxing vacation. Thank you again Banana Beach!!

Best place in Santa Teresa

I have been visiting Santa Teresa now for about 12 years. I have stayed in many different places until I found Bannana Beach. After that I only stay here. The combination of the beautiful cabins, awesome restaurant, pool, beach, and atmosphere in general is unsurpassed. It has a really good vibe. I love this place.

Great location

I really was happy w our stay here. The waitress Kathryn helped us a lot during our stay, and so did all the staff! They gave us great recommendations w what to do. The location was stellar, and the bungalow itself was clean. Really loved our time there!

Cozy bungalow with proximity to everything you need

We watched sunsets on the beach just a barefoot walk from Lula Bungalow, had terrific meals at Banana Beach and had a lovely stay.

Filthy and rundown, shabby and broken

I will start with the plus side. Danielle was extremely helpful and kind. Down side.. I've been staying at this location for almost 20 years and loved it. The website and the reviews are very positive. They lie. It is not clean, it is not quiet, the keys don't work, it is not tranqilo. It is a perfect place for party people, except for the price. Way too much, for so little. After a 2.5 hour run-around/check-in, they finally admitted that it was unacceptable. They sent us to another hotel that was at least clean and had a security guard and behaved professionally... And they offered free drinks. Not only were the drinks not available, I was with my elderly mother, and we didn't want drinks, we wanted what the VRBO website advertised. If anyone actually reads this review, please remember that I live in Costa Rica, I am a teacher here, I am very familiar with how things are not always as expected. But I am also familiar with pura vida, and with ticos. The people at Lula Bungalow, Banana Beach, and Luz de Vida are not, and will never be ticos.

Perfect for two

We loved our stay at Lula. It's really nice and private and the second shower outside was a lovely plus in the hot afternoons. The pool is steps away and then there's the beach with sun and surf. The Banana Beach restaurant has great food, cold beer, nightly entertainment and great sunsets.

Awesome place to be!!!

Beautiful little bungalows just a few meters away of the beach. The bungalows has a beautiful private garden area with chairs, tabels hammock and really nice roofed veranda. The bungalow were clean and and with a little kitchen equipped. And there is also a nice pool area. The Administration guys are really friendly and help you out, just in case you need anything. Even the nightly pub recommendation. Down at the beach is a nice beach bar with some really tasty food and snacks! In total awesome place to be!!!

Great location, amazing pool & beach bar!

Absolutely loved this place!!! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is after every storm the wifi would be knocked out, sometimes for days. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to go back & stay here again! I stayed in Lula bungalow for 12 nights & was traveling with my wife & 2 year old son - who loved the pool, beach, playground, & the live music at the beach bar at night. Truly an amazing vacation at an amazing destination. Never have I stayed somewhere in Costa Rica where I had a private yard & kids playground!! There was also the incredible pool w/ waterfall & kiddie pool, beach bar w/ live music nightly (not too loud, so you could not hear it in Cabina's area), in-room massages, big soft king sized bed, tide pools on beach out front, nearby restaurants, just loved everything about the place. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Santa Teresa, & highly recommend it to others!

Look no further!!!

I stayed in Lula bungalow and it was honestly fantastic. Big, clean room with a nice bed, hot water , a/c, fan kitchenette. There was a private courtyard w hammocks and sitting area. You take steps from your private bungalow pass by a great pool, walk onto the sand and either take a seat at their beachfront restaurant, or grab a surfboard, hammock, beach pillow or simply walk your way to the water. You are right there. The restaurant was some of the best food I've had since I've been here and the owners are very nice and accommodating. So happy with this place.

perfect stay. child-friendly people and area. well maintained property. amazing access to the beach. constant waves. quiet, if you want, entertaining beach life easily available. beach fashion show, fire artists, life acts of musicians... fits cool for grown and kids!

Best Holiday of my life

iv'e been traveling in costa rica for a while now- this is the most perfect place i've been so far the area is just beautiful- this house have everything you need we have rented it for a couple and it has been answering all our needs, a pool close by the ocean is 15 steps away and we had a kitchenette.

I was with friends on a trip :) and the bungalows were clean and fully equipped with excellent kitchenette. huge garden in front of the pool and a second from the sea, which is exactly what surfers like me like, most recommend!!!
