Our 10th floor condo had a leak so the manager made it right and upgraded us to another room on the 2nd floor. It was absolutely amazing. Thank you for helping us. We had a long journey. We were coming from Kauai where hurricane Lowell hit so we were very upset. Maui made our trip to Hawaii a trip we will never forget. Thank you. We will be back and stay at whalers again

It was perfect. Saw whales every day from the lanai.Place was clean. Staff was superior. It could not have been better. We will be back.

First time visiting Maui; stayed at The Whaler at Kaanapali Beach. The Whaler is a condo complex where owners rent out their units. The resort is in the center of activity, right next to Whaler Village with shopping and restaurants. The grounds are a bit small compared to some of the mega resorts but immaculately maintained. Staff was tremendous. Beach was nice but had definitely suffered some erosion. We had an issue with our room which was booked through Maui Resort Rentals. The original room was not available due to some damage (told this before we arrived) - moved to another room, unfortunately not as nice as the one we had originally booked with respect to location and view. The room was clean and comfortable, furnishings a bit dated and could have used more cleaning supplies, spices and food wraps. There is a washer / dryer outside the room on the floor - worked well. The pool is nice, more oriented towards adults than kids. New barbecue grills were great - used several times. The view is very dependent on your unit location. Those on upper floors toward the beach have the best views. Several catamaran charters depart nearby, right from the beach - very convenient. All in all, The Whaler is nice condo style resort, more geared toward adults.

We’re sorry the necessary change in accommodations meant a different location and ocean view than you had anticipated. We understand how important the view was to your first Maui stay and regret that the available alternative could not offer the same experience. We adjusted the rate accordingly, but recognize that this did not fully make up for the disappointment. Beautiful Place and Beautiful Location

The room was perfect; modern, very elegant and well equipped. The beach was beautiful and the resort is in an idea location. Best sunsets I have ever seen. I would not hesitate to say here again.

Our room was perfect for us. Great view of the ocean. Short trip to the pool. Everything was there that we needed. Would stay here again.

Whaler whales

Great time…great location, view, bed, shower, ac….clean. Love the Beach concierge service…very helpful and friendly…good people. Would book this location again…priced right. Was able to see whales outside sitting on the patio

Wonderful view of the whales from balcony

This is the perfect size unit for my husband and myself. Loved the full kitchen, dinning room table, couch and large balcony. I enjoyed the south facing balcony as it is sunnier than the north side. Plus the 10th floor you can really see the whales!!

Great stay in Maui

Great studio at the Whaler. Super nice staff great accommodations and what a view! Saw whales from the lanai everyday for 10 straight days! The xtra perk of the colorize discounts was a bonus! We used it twice while here. We will book this condo again next time back! Mahalo!

Can’t get any more perfect

Location, location! Step outside the door and snorkel, shop, or dine at restaurants. The whole experience was great. We are going back next year with the whole family in a larger condo at the Whaler. Only complaint is that there was construction next door, above and below us so it was noisy from around 8am to lte afternoon.

We always stay at the Whaler property when visiting Kaanapali. The studio units are a perfect size. The property itself is centrally located along the beach and resort walk so you are as close to anything you would need. All great restaurants within one mile of walking. The beaches are all great right off the property. Our unit was clean with an updated kitchen and bath. Comfortable king bed. Great south facing views. You can’t go wrong.

Very nice condo with a beautiful ocean view

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. It has a gorgeous ocean view. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. It was centrally located and there were many great restaurants close by. The bed was very comfortable. The fan and AC kept the condo nice and cool. One suggestion: there was only one hand towel rack and one bath towel rack in the bathroom, enough for just one of us. I ended up having to hang my towels on hangers in the closet. Would be great if there were additional ones. All in all, it was a great condo and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you!
