The property worked out well for our family. We truly only slept there as our daughter lives a mile away so we were at her place. It was clean and we needed 4 bedrooms which is hard to find! Thank you!

We came to see the city and do all the Christmas things. Very nice house in Crown Heights! About an 8 min walk to Utica Ave subway. Takes about 45 min on subway to get to Manhattan. Overall the stay was very enjoyable. Water was hot and there were nine of us, the place was warm and heaters working good with the cold weather. I would recommend more hooks in the bathrooms or rooms to hang up towels, some glass cleaner to clean dining room table, a shower shelf system in the shower to put soaps on - (like the one with a tension rod that does vertical and has shelf’s on it). And hooks for coats at the top of the stairs so you can hang coats on after coming in from the cold. Beautiful house- very clean and well maintained. Great host. Thanks!

This was a great place that served us very well. Easy access to the subway and into the city. It was wonderful that we all got to be under the same room for a trip. However, out-of-towners, we didn’t realize that this location is essentially on a parade route, and we were staying there during the all night street party called “j'ouvert” that coincides with Labor Day. I don’t think I would have changed my plans, but I wish we’d known that there would be a solid 24 hour of partying outside the window.If you are visiting FOR j'ouvert, it’s an incredible location!

This place was perfect. Great location, spacious, comfortable, clean! We felt like we lived there within a day . Highly recommend the food and service at the Crown Deli around the corner!

Brooklyn Half Marathon

The property was as listed and an excellent stay for our group this weekend! The host was very responsive and we had a great experience. The place is near public transportation that made making our way around quick and easy. Overall, our whole group had a great experience and would definitely consider booking again.

Lovely stay in this property. Check in was very easy, the space was big and everything was clean. Really good appliances, beds were very comfy. Only 5-10 minute walk to the subway too. Would definitely stay again!

NYC long weekend

We had an amazing stay here! Plenty of room for the 8 of us, clean, and accurate pictures. It’s about 20/25 minutes from the Brooklyn bridge main area with shops and Christmas markets. The street isn’t the most picturesque but we never felt unsafe and found parking right in front of the house. Overall, would stay here again!

It was dirty and not well maintained. I noticed the host the first morning with 8 items that need attention. Did not even include the loose toilet seats. The host offered to send a handy man by but that did not happen. Would have appreciated an accurate explanation of the subway time to get to Midtown Manhattan.All in all a big disappointment but we made it work. Have no interest in returning.

Very spacious for a NYC accommodation. The property was clean and comfortable. However it lacked some items that would have made the stay a bit more comfortable like paper towels, cleaning supplies and hand soap. Just things that would have made cleaning up after ourselves easier. There is a coffee machine which was nice, but the coffee pod options were all odd flavor profiles like "blueberry pie" coffee. Location is convenient to a subway line and not a far drive or bike to other parts of Brooklyn which was nice. However, the neighborhood doesn't always feel the safest. We had no issues but made sure to not walk around alone. Not much to eat nearby other than to

Great apartment

Overall we were happy with our stay in this apartment. The windows were draughty and we did experience street noise. The one ‘bedroom’ is actually a converted lounge area with glass doors and no curtains. The beds were very comfortable, we had a good stay in this apartment & location was near where we needed to be.

New York stay

The row house was very spacious but what they don't tell you is that there are a quite a bit of steps you gotta walk up to get in. I had my handicapped father with me it was a struggle. And hopefully it's warm outside when you visit because there's hardly any heat. It's a good place for the youth not for the older ones

Home Away From Home in Brooklyn

My family and I enjoyed lodging at this property. It was reasonably priced, and the pictures told no lie. It was beautiful, spacious, and accommodated seven of us comfortably and we also felt safe. There is only street parking, but we were ok with using our preferred ride share service. The location was also good on a busy but quiet block. But remember, it's NY! This would be my first preference to lodge again on the next trip if available. Also, the communication with the property management team was GREAT! Thanks for hosting us!

Holiday stay

The apartment was larger than we expected. I more bedroom and small bathroom. It was very cold out and the window air conditioners were still in and cold air poured in under the units. My other minor suggestions would be to have some coat hangers, 2 lamps in the front bedrooms, and a dish rack . The apartment was clean and fairly easy to. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but we had no issues.

Thanksgiving Family trip

The property is spacious and was well located for our needs. The decor of the property is no longer as it looks in the pictures with many of the cozier items no longer there. Some amenities were missing as well - hair dryer, body wash, hand towels and wash cloths; however the host was responsive to my request for a hair dryer and provided one the same day. Overall, I don’t think this was worth the price I paid with holiday rates and fees.

Comfortable house close to subway

The apartment was very clean and offers all amenities, it was very well equipped. It is spacious and fitted our group of 6 quite comfortably.It was very hard to sleep in the smaller room facing the main road - the bed leans right against the window and there was a draft coming from the air conditioning box that made it quite cold. It is also a very noisy neighbourhood , as the house is right on the mais road and all night there is loud noise from music, people and cars. It is within easy walking distance from the subway, which is convenient, but the area itself is not particularly nice.

Solid group booking

Overall we had a good experience. But this place won't be for everyone. The good: the place has plenty of space and beds, 2 bathrooms, it's clean, and you can come in at 3am and nobody blinks. The bad: the beds are cheap, and because the ACs are in the windows there is no window between you and a busy street. The back 2 bedrooms are fine but the front 2 bedrooms will require ear plugs. If the beds were nicer I'd have given this another star. But I feel like getting good sleeps are the most important part and I didn't get that. Also the kitchen is really sparsely stocked. Don't expect to cook complex meals. Secondarily the deadbolt is broken on the interior door and the lower neighbors don't always lock the exterior door. The handle was still locked but it did leave us a little anxious. Overall a good experience for a 3 day weekend. But I was happy to go home.

Worse experience to date

Oven not working. Eye on strove not working response from the property manager not good took days to get a reply. No dish washing soap no laundry detergent one role of paper towel kitchen knife set missing a number of knifes. No face rages to shower with. Just a very bad experience and felt totally disrespected

We were lucky to find this place

I had booked another rental 2 months before our trip. Paid in full and reservation accepted. I sent a note 2 days later, adding 2 people - so now we were 6 instead of 4. I received no response.1 week before, the owner sent a notice of payment due $1200. even though we had paid in full. We went back and forth with him insisting and me refusing. I finally called the VRBO office, where they ruled in my favor, gave us One Key Cash to help find a new place, large enough and suitable. Fortunately this place was available and with the gift from VRBO affordable. It mostly fit our needs with a few quirky complaints - there are plenty of dishes but dish soap was not provided.- coffee was provided but only the wasteful pods. We brought our own loose coffee but there isn't a regular coffee pot. The heating element for the teapot was broken and one leg on the table fell off. It came with 2 screws but only one was in place and it was loose. There were no tools to repair so we bought one to tighten. I like to use a washcloth in the shower but none were provided. Other than that, we were happy with the size and convenience - close to the train but the neighborhood was a bit shabbier. I felt safe, just grubby building next with boxes and junk piled in front.

Séjour à New York

Logement agréable et adapté pour visiter New York. Nous avons séjourné à 12 personnes. Proche du métro pour accéder à New-York. Quartier bruyant, donc chambres côté rue bruyantes mais pas les autres. Pas beaucoup d'ustensiles dans la cuisine pour 12 personnes. Globalement, bon logement pour rejoindre New York facilement.
