The apartment was great overall. The location was excellent for getting around Tamarindo, we could walk basically anywhere. The Super Compra around the corner had groceries available, plenty of restaurants in walking distance and right across the street to the beach. The big pool from the picture was very nice, had no issues getting pool chairs any days we were there, although some of the ones with umbrellas were taken very early most days. It wasn't ever really crowded, so worked out well.The apartment itself was great, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals for the family including a coffee pot and a toaster, which was greatly appreciated. The host was very kind to provide some extras like coffee filters and sugar packets. Dish soap, dishwasher pods, and hand soap were greatly appreciated also! It also included beach towels, which was super nice for our packing.We worked with the concierge who was able to get us totally set up on the things we wanted - airport transfers both way, a tour up to the national park, surf lessons (highly recommended), and recommendations around town.
