Plenty of space, very well equipped, great condition
Quiet spot but very close to downtown Red Lodge. Nice layout, all good size rooms, comfortable, and well equipped. Plentiful cookware, dinner ware, towels, blankets, pillows, and all seemed in very new condition. Downtown is only 10-15 minutes on foot and an extensive playground is right across the street. Also very nice to have a roomy garage for our vehicle. I can't list any features of this home that disappointed us.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
This home is perfectly situated a short walk from the downtown district of Red Lodge, Lions Park, and the Beartooth IGA.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
The home has been tastefully furnished and decorated to not only be comfortable, but to highlight Red Lodge's character with decor that carries historic value of the mines and the development of Red Lodge, but also current scenery and culture. The items in the home have guests comfort in mind with plush bedding, plenty of seating around the table, and sturdy glassware and cuterly.
This home is not only located in a close proximity to all things Red Lodge, but is also located in the Historic Hi-Bug District and is a registered historic home. Red Lodge city attorney Frank Whicher built this Queen Anne style home in 1910, the same year his wife Cora delivered Frank, Jr., the first of their four sons.
Frank and Cora were active in local politics and civic and social organizations. Frank served on the school and library boards, wrote the ordinance officially creating the Red Lodge Public Library, and served terms as master of the local Masonic and Elks lodges. Cora, a former eighth-grade teacher, stayed home with her boys and was active in the Red Lodge Woman’s Club. In 1922, citizens elected Frank as mayor of Red Lodge.
The Whichers moved to Sioux City, Iowa, in 1926, and in 1927, sold the home to wholesale grocery merchant Thad C. Pound and his wife Stella.
