New construction with fresh clean furnishings and everything you could need, you'll settle right in for a relaxing stay!

Please pick up behind dogs in the yard, and keep dogs off of all furniture. Please plan to crate dogs which are not well house trained.
Please enjoy the back deck furniture, but replace the covers when not in use. Also please place all yard games back as you found them when done.
Quiet hours are from 10:00pm until 8:00am, to respect our neighbors right to quiet enjoyment.

The house is beautiful and all of the thoughtful touches make it a great little vacation home. The beds are comfortable with super soft sheets and lots of extra blankets and even a fan and white noise machines in every bedroom. The backyard was really fun to hangout in with the hammock and yard games provided in the shed. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with everything you need to have a very enjoyable time!

Beautiful home

House was very clean and nicely decorated. Close to Charlotte for day trips. We visited the Depot at Gibson Mill, would highly recommend if you're into antiques!

Fantastic Home

Our trip was amazing we have never seen a property so well equiped for a family. It was like we were home from the moment we stepped inside. We travel to the area several times a year we will look to see if it is available again. We truly loved it.

Beautiful home inside and out. Very clean. There were small fans tucked in the closet even. That is a big plus for me. We were very comfortable during our stay. Would definitely use again.There was even a neighborhood cat that my eldest child fell in love with. Very sweet and lovable.

Home away from home

I'm so glad we stayed at Maine State Of Mind because it really was a comfy retreat. I loved the thoughtfulness of the host with toys my 5 year old could use both inside and outside the house. We had all the ameneties to make family meals and didn't need anything else. My family from three corners (Nepal, France and the US) of the world got to be together and just relax. We were very grateful for the host's communication and the way the house was presented. We have nothing but good things to say.

The house was not as advertised. The grass was so high our dog couldn’t even go to the bathroom. There is a huge concrete slab next to house and we figured since grass was so bad we could play cornhole there. It was literally covered with geese feces.The house pics also showed privacy-not true! And it advertised waterfront. The pics showed an adorable pond with Adirondack chairs sloping to water. The pics 5-7 years old as the bush weeds were taller than me!The inside of the house was great! Comfortable and cozy. On our first trip to upstate NY, we were devastated as we planned on relaxing by pond and having s’mores at the fire pit.

As soon as we walked in, it was like looking at the rental pics! And, it smelled clean as we entered. We traveled with 6 teens to attend a concert in nearby Charlotte. And, with our 2 pups. We had plenty of space for everything. The couch fit all 8 of us, which was nice when we were hanging or watching a movie. The kitchen had all items we needed, well stocked. The beds were comfy!! What was impressive to me, were the little touches that were added, that most vacation rentals don’t have. Extension cords right on nightstands with plugs, and USB ports. Sound machines in bedrooms, snacks on arrival, water bowls, doggie bags, & towels for the pups. Backyard games (which we didn’t use bc it rained a lot while there). Plug in fans and baby gear supplies (which we didn’t need). But!! Great small touches that were nice and accommodating.

My team and I believe in upfront communication about our homes, so that all expectations are met for our guests! Before booking we ask that you take a minute to review our entire listing to familiarize yourself with our home. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or needs you may have!

Maine State Of Mind offers an open floorplan where the family can gather for dinner or a game night, while having plenty of space to spread out and settle into one of many relaxing areas in and around our home.

Upon arrival you'll open the front door with a simple smart lock using the last four digits of your phone number. You'll enter into the family room which offers a larger comfy couch, separate workspace, and 55" TV for movie nights! The kitchen offers plenty of space for the chef of the group and is equipped with any cooking utensil we could think of! The dining area boasts a long heart of pine dining table, perfect for a large group or family to gather around at meal time.

Bedrooms are equipped with sound machines and nightlights if you'd like to use them, and are designed to welcome you into a calm oasis during your stay. Fresh, soft linens are on each bed, with comfy pillows and blankets all around!

Bathrooms are fully stocked with big, comfy towels and essential toiletries for our guests to use. We've also placed compact step stools in each bathroom for our little guests!

On the back deck you'll find comfortable lounge furniture for evening gatherings or daytime reading. The patio offers an outdoor dining set and gas grill for those at home grilling nights. In the spacious fenced yard, you'll find a storage building which has plenty of outdoor life size games to enjoy!

Maine State Of Mind is perfectly located near all major attractions in our area!
