Come stay at our recently remodeled Beach House right on the famous and centrally located Pacific Coast Highway 101. Discover the only private beach in Carlsbad right across the street from your front door. Short and easy 2 minute walk to beach.

After spending time in the surf and sand, our beach house is the perfect place to unwind! Free wi-fi and smart TVs are available in each bedroom. Hungry? Cook something up in our fully outfitted Granite Kitchen or hop in your car and take a short drive into Carlsbad Village and enjoy one of the amazing restaurants nearby. (We will leave you a list of our personal favorites!) Afterwards, if you're feeling adventurous explore the local nightspots where you can enjoy a margarita by the fire pits, or maybe you'll opt for a romantic stroll along the beach under the stars instead.

When you return home relax in the jacuzzi bathtub or light a fire in the fireplace. Sink into the softest sofa known to man and watch a movie with your loved ones. When you just can't keep your eyes open any longer sprawl out on one of our Queen sized 'Heavenly' Westin Beds and fall asleep to the sound of Ocean waves.

If you've got little ones, bring them! Our large enclosed backyard is lush and perfect for kids who like to play. Not only that but Lego land, Lego land Water Park, and the Sea life Aquarium are less than 2 miles away and very easy to find! If you're up for a little bit of a drive you can take them to the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea world, or Disneyland all less than an hours drive away.

Activities/ Our Favorite Things To Do Nearby

The Beach!!! Carlsbad State Beach was rated one of the top 10 beaches in the US by Traveler Magazine and is located only a 5 minute drive away. Right across the street from our house is the only private beach in Carlsbad, Terramar Beach. So much to do at the beach: Dig your toes in the sand, get a tan, go for a swim, surf, boogie board, play volleyball, explore the tide pools teeming with life, make sandcastles with the kids, join the joggers and bikers along the seawall, enjoy a bonfire with friends and family, or just sit on a bench and people watch! Just remember to bring your sunscreen!

Visit the luxurious Day Spa at La Costa Resort - We love to spend time at the Day Spa. Men and women have their own facilities each with their own indoor Sauna, Steam room, and Jacuzzi. Outside you can meet up with your spouse by the pool, roman waterfalls, and outdoor jacuzzi. We love to wrap up our spa days with a good massage and then eat at one of the chic restaurants in the resort. The resort is gorgeous and perfect for a romantic date or a girl's day. Google it.

Shopping: The beach house is about 5 minutes away from a huge outdoor shopping mall called the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. This mall has both affordable and high end stores like: Coach, Dooney and Burke, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Barneys New York, Ralph Lauren, BCBG Max Azria, Banana Republic, DKNY, Gap, BabyGap, Carters, and Crate and Barrel.
My favorite place to shop, however, is 'The Forum' about 10 minutes South off Leucadia BLVD. They have a Z Gallerie, Sur La Table, Bed Bath and Beyond, Anthropology, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Black House White Market, Mac Cosmetics, Ulta, and an Apple Store. Also nearby is a Target and plenty of amazing restaurants! Costco is 5 minutes away.

World Class Golfing at: Aviara's Four Seasons (Carlsbad), La Costa Resort (Carlsbad), The Crossings at Carlsbad, Encinitas Ranch (Encinitas), and world famous Torrey Pines (La Jolla).

Dining Out: We love dining out so we will leave you with a list of our favorite restaurants and where to find them. However if you're just looking for something convenient, restaurants under 5 minutes away include: Islands, King's Fish House, BJ's Brewery, Karl Strauss, Claim Jumper, TGIF's, PF Changs. There are also several fast places nearby like Starbucks, Rubio's, and California's Exclusive In-n-Out Burger (if you haven't tried an In-n-Out Burger then you really haven't lived).

For Kids: Legoland, Legoland Water Park, Sealife Aquarium, Playwerx (an indoor jungle gym in Carlsbad), San Diego Botanic Garden in neighboring Encinitas (cheap admission but tons for little kids/toddlers to do), La Costa Resort Waterpark, and also a variety of beautiful public playgrounds including some on the beach.
