Loma Bella is an amazing retreat in the Canyon Oaks Subdivision. It sleeps 17. It is a four bedroom three and a half bath home with an open concept kitchen and living room for all your large gatherings. The home offers lots of space inside but the jewel of this home is the outside. Loma Bella has a pool with a sitting pool attached (not a hot tub), outdoor fireplace, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes and washers. It is a great place to relax at after a day on the river or just a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is free parking for river access close to Seven Bluff Crossing.

Great for a large family. It was odd to have to bring our own bedding. You also have to provide your own hand towels for the bathrooms/kitchen. The kitchen ware needs to be updated. The coffee maker took FOREVER to brew and the pans were very used. Cacti surrounds the property and we were having to pick thorns out of our basketballs and volleyball. It should be emphasized that the pool does not include a hot tub, and that it is classified as a cold sitting pool. It was posted, but we missed it during booking and was a bummer. It would also be nice to have details about river access. We went to Garner State park and had a great time, but we did not know where else we could have gone.Overall, great weekend with lots of space for our family to hang out.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was spacious and perfectly accommodated our four families. The layout of the house was very well thought out, making it easy for everyone to have their own space while still feeling connected.The outdoor restroom was a great bonusā€”super convenient and helped keep things easy with a big group. We really enjoyed all the outdoor amenities, especially the pool, volleyball and basketball areas, and the cozy fire pit that kept everyone entertained throughout our stay.The location was also perfectā€”being close to Garner was a huge plus. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and felt very safe. Overall, it was the ideal place for our family getaway, and weā€™d definitely stay here again!

Motherā€™s Day getaway

Having extended family down for a weekend vacation at this amazingly beautiful place was perfect. The house was so nice and the property was big so the kids could run and swim. The river access was great and the whole experience was wonderful. Will definitely recommend and rent again in the future

Perfect Frio River Trip!

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loma Bella. The downstairs A/C quit working. I called at 11:00 at night and they had someone there within 30 minutes and they fixed it. They were very responsive and we really appreciated it. The pool was great and the kids loved it.

Amazing place

Overall the whole property was awesome. Perfect location and the river access parking was very helpful. We were able to unload at the river and it was a very short walk to the parking area for the river access. The pool was a perfect size for my family and we really enjoyed it especially after a long day at the river. All of the beds were very comfortable and the size of the house was perfect and very comfortable. My only suggestion is the house definitely needs a new coffee pot. The one in the house didnā€™t work well. But again overall the house was perfect, very clean and I would definitely stay there again!

End of Summer River Trip!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with over 10 adults and a few young kids for a family reunion for the end of summer. It was a great house, beautiful scenery, and the pool was delightful! Easy access to the river for floating or just relaxing (highly recommended the Gravel Bar)! We also checked out Hippie Chicā€™s which is a must visit for live music, great food and drinks, and a family friendly atmosphere. We stayed after the busy season was over so a lot of places werenā€™t open or had limited hours so that was a little disappointing. But other than that it was nice to not have to deal with crowds. We hope to return for another family trip soon!

The house provided many activities so there never was much down time when we were just straight up bored. Not only is the house beautiful and up to date but the location is perfect and only max 7 minutes away from every activity we did in town. The host office was also extremely helpful. I would recommend staying at this house to anybody looking for a Frio home. I know we will for sure be staying again

Disappointed

The point of renting a house to stay in for vacation, is so you donā€™t have to haul linens and cleaning things as if youā€™re camping. We did rent sheets that were put on the beds sideways and not tucked in. We wished we had brought our own towels because the bath towels were pretty bad. We had to search Concan for washcloths and kitchen sponge to buy, along with paper towels, toilet paper and a deck of cards and dominoes (because it rained our whole stay). The ice maker in the freezer was disconnected, so no ice. What looks like a hot tub in photos, is not a hot tub. We never found the half bath described in house details. Between the house, the bad weather and not enough water to tube the river, thatā€™s why we were pretty disappointed.
