Welcome to the Spruce Lodge, in the private gated community of Torreon! This 1900 plus square foot great room plan is perfect for family vacations. We have a secure fenced in area for your children or pet. The home is sited on over a 1/2 acre landscaped lot with views of the Torreon golf course. 3 decks provide plenty of space and privacy for your group to relax. The kitchen with granite countertops and upgraded appliances, opens to an expansive great room with a fieldstone fireplace and juniper wood mantle. Cozy aspen ceilings and wood floors throughout the home. The spacious master suite features it's own private deck, bath with jetted tub, and walk-in closet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located at
the other end of the home for privacy. The Spruce Lodge is tastefully decorated with southwest and lodge log furniture. Quality beds, bedding, and linens are provided. Central Air conditioning and heat is available for your comfort. The home is kept sparkling clean! The home is decorated with a theme for each season! Torreon is a great place to cycle and take long walks. We provide two bikes for your use. Bison Golf is located minutes away. The equestrian center is open to the public. Torreon Grille Restaurant is open to the public. Sleeps seven. Free WIFI. The master bedroom closet is currently unavailable; we provide a decorative clothing rack and generous drawer space. A phone hardline is not available.
You are required to complete a Vacation Rental Agreement within 24 hours of your reservation. Keys will not be released until the manager receives the agreement. Your pet will need to be approved by the manager. Available for 30 days or longer stays. Owner/Agent

Awesome House!!!

My husband, two daughters and one friend stayed at this house over Memorial Day, for 5 days. Very spacious. Fully stocked with the essentials. We utilized the three different porches...which was very relaxing. The weather was great. Walking trails were close. We loved it!

Comfortable Cabin

This is the second time we rental this property and still love it. So comfortable, peaceful and location is perfect at the end of the street with neighbors only on the one side. Sit on the patio looking out at beautiful pine trees during mealtime. All new appliances in the kitchen and laundry room. If you have any problems or questions owner will reply at once.

Outstanding mountain retreat

This home exceeded out expectations. The photos on VRBO were very accurate. The place felt more like a private home instead of a vacation rental. The home was really furnished nicely. Extremely comfortable and homey. 3 great decks for relaxing. Location in the pines and at the end of a cul-de-sac provided excellent privacy. Given COVID, we chose to cook most of our meals in the house. I must say the kitchen in this home was outstanding. It was furnished better than most private homes. Having access to the garage was also a really nice feature. The owner/agent was very responsive to my questions and special requests. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again.

Clean escape from Valley heat

This is a beautifully maintained house in a scenic and peaceful neighborhood. It was perfectly clean; I didn't feel the need to wipe down or clean anything when we got there. For those families like mine: the WiFi worked great for several videoconferences and classes while we were there. The TV's had Dish network, but they were not "smart" TV's, so you'd have to stream your Netflix etc on your laptops, but the Wifi signal could handle it. The beds were comfortable. With all the trees in the yard, the house stayed shady; in fact, we never had to turn on the air conditioning. I've never seen such a well-stocked kitchen. We spent our days walking around the neighborhood or hiking in the state forest. There are three adult-sized bikes in the garage which we borrowed. Although the house is near the main road through Torreon, it was still very quiet. There's not much traffic, and I suppose the trees block some of the noise. You can't see any houses behind your, so it felt very private. My favorite spot was the hammock in the backyard... highly recommend!

We (six adults-parents and two children with sig others-all over the age of 25)recently stayed for the weekend. Great website, pictures are representative. Beautiful house in VERY quiet neighborhood. However many negatives: lights not working when we arrived, whole place smelled like garbage as garbage was in garage and had obviously not been taken out in weeks as it stunk up the whole place! Several areas of the home were not clean! Also I have stayed in several VRBO homes over the years and this was the most poorly stocked pantry I have ever seen-no salt, butter, oil coffee...nothing... which makes it difficult for short term vacationers to use the house/kitchen (main reason we rented house versus hotel). Also there were no cleaning supplies-no paper towels, no laundry soap so it made it difficult to use the washer or even clean up after ourselves! We ended up purchasing a lot of this stuff ourselves. Also we paid an outlandish deposit for damages-deposit is understandable HOWEVER we have never had money removed for non-obvious reasons. We were told that there 'was damage to hand towels beyond repair.' To begin with, all the hand towels were fraying at the edges and smelled moldy. We did use one dark orange one to clean up a spill of soda and then rinsed it but in no way was it ruined/stained/discolored. Also if we had had proper cleaning supplies/paper towels then we would not have had to use it. They also quoted that there was a 'damaged toilet handle.' Which with 6 responsible adults and only 2 toilets-we would have noticed this and did not! I believe these to be untrue and that owner is trying to get money out of my elderly parents for repairs that are impossible to dispute, especially since we live out of state. I'd be careful to rent!

Little slice of Heaven

Very well appointed cabin. The kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed to do A LOT of cooking!! The neighborhood is lovely and neighbors were friendly. The properly is adorable and inviting with lots of plants and hummingbirds, birds, squirrels, and lizards to watch. My husband took full advantage of the hammock for naps and reading. The neighborhood road that is near by does have lite traffic noise but is not a deal breaker. Beautiful decor inside the home, we were very comfortable and would stay again.

Excellent property

The home was as described in the website. It had every amenity that was desired. The overall experience was so comfortable and warm. We really enjoyed it. We wished there was more information on the the cable TV usage. Also directions to find the house location were not easy due to cellular confusion with our phones. Thanksgiving in Show Low!

The location and amenities at this property were perfect for our trip! The property was immaculate and well-maintained. We enjoyed many cozy conversations by the fire in the great room. Our bedrooms were clean and cozy and provided everything we needed for a great sleep. I highly recommend this property for rest, relaxation and repose. We went into town several times for shopping and enjoyed a great meal at the clubhouse and Charley Clarks. We will be back for sure. Thank you!!
