Your home away from home, at the Gate House in Burley this 2 bedroom, with an extra twin bed in a small “Harry Potter closet”. This is an upstairs suite, fully furnished for a comfortable stay. Centrally located in the heart of downtown Burley cultural, shopping, and local business hub. This is a luxurious suite steps away from the City Library, Story Book Park, Pool, Golf Course, Elite Health Club, Restaurant's, Movie Theaters, the Beautiful King Fine Arts Center, and much, much more. It has the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, sophistication, and style. The accommodations are beautifully furnished, full size appliances, luxury mattresses, and more. Affordable Luxury & Comfort

All the comforts of home plus more: beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable beds and linens, well-equipped kitchen with fresh milk, eggs, butter and coffee, access to wifi and satelite tv, extremely clean and private and somewhat quiet neighborhood. Short drive to Pomerelle Ski Resort and Shoshone Falls. Walking distance to Storybook park and to my in-laws house! It was the perfect location for our family visit. We'll be back for sure!

Darling home!

We stay here year after year for my sons baseball tournament. The home is very clean and in a great location. Andi is very easy to work with. Unfortunately due to Covid we didn’t get to stay this year. Andi was awesome and quick to respond about refunding our money. Looking forward to next year!😊

Great except squeaky bunk

Enjoyed our stay except the bunk bed frame was squeaky anytime anyone moved. Ended up taking top mattress off and putting it on the floor in living room. Bottom bunk still squeaked but less people to hear the noise. Apartment had lots of extras in the kitchen and bathroom. Efficient layout for small space.

Great location but ..

Our apartment was upstairs which the owner needs to indicate on her page. The stairs were very steep and my husband and I are in our 70's. She was able switch us to the downstairs apartment after a few days. But that apartment had a very strong mold smell under the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink was draining very slowly. Overall, we loved the area and found the owner to be very helpful.

Enchanting unit in a great central location

Thinking of doing a weekend of skiing at Pomerelle? Exploring City of Rocks? Following Oregon Trail historic routes and visiting south central Idaho museums? If so, book your family into this lovely unit! With the "Harry Potter" room and the bunk beds, our family fit great and had a blast. The back deck is a lovely place for outside breakfasts and 2 blocks down is the Storybook playground for the kids. We'll definitely be back!

PERFECT FOR US!

We had a large group so we ended up renting 2 of the units at the Gate House and our set up couldn't have been more perfect. We were right across the hall from each other. I really loved the keyless entry system, no chance of losing the key and if our party split up we all could still get in. I had to make a dish for our family reunion and I found everything I needed in the kitchen to get it done. We loved the quaint surroundings and we were super close to groceries, restaurants and amenities. The beds were very comfortable in both units. We will definitely stay there the next time we visit family in town.

A quaint little place

I enjoyed staying close to family, Storybook park, etc. We were centrally located to City of Rocks, Twin Falls, etc. Would have liked a more efficient wifi. Since there aren't any amenities for small children onsite, Storybook park is just 2 blocks away. (It's an awesome park) The onsite laundry was a real plus. Being on the 2nd floor and although we used the stairs only as needed, it was difficult to keep pre-school children completely quiet so as not to disturb the permanent resident(s). All in all, it was a nice stay.

Nice stay!

We stayed in #4 unit. It was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and an extra space/closet with twin bed. Kitchen was nicely arranged, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels. The check in process was smooth and the rental was ready when we arrived. Thank you Andi for a nice stay! My kids thank you for the mints left on their pillows!

We had a great stay at The Gate House in Burley. We stayed for a week at the end of June. The property is clean, comfortable and spacious. Beautifully decorated. So nice to have a kitchen while on vacation, even better was a stocked kitchen-dishes, utensils and some pantry goods. A nice sun deck off the kitchen. The bathroom was the perfect size. The shower/bathtub is up off the floor with a two step ladder to get in, a little scary at first. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, public library, Storybook park and shops. Quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to future vacations at The Gate House. This is truly a home away from home. Thank you Andi for creating such a wonderful home.

Wonderful. A home away from home

This was very comfortable and had everything that was needed as if you never left home. Older place but extremely clean. Met Andi and she was very helpful and courteous. The only downfall was that we couldn't get on their wifi and in the morning when the sun shined through the bedroom windows, it got quite warm. Maybe some type of shade built on the outside of the windows and better wifi. If you have problems climbing stairs get the bottom rooms. We got the top room #4 and I just had knee replacement and it was a difficult climb yet it was my fault as I never mentioned that when we rented this place. Other then that this place was awesome.

Wonderful!

Ditto comments of others! Loved not having to shop for basics the first day in town because they were supplied! Delightful upscale grocery stores about a mile away. Exploring nearby businesses was a treat for a city gal. Concerns that slightly noticeable dings in the apartment were going to be charged to our account were allayed quickly with prompt email dialog with the owner. Up the stairs apartment and high bath/shower would make it hard for mobility challenged folks to stay here. Suggest the owner install safety rails in the high tub area. South side of house where the balcony and steps are may be on the owner's to-do list for paint; perhaps an awning or sun umbrella would increase late afternoon summer usage, but very nice for sitting out with morning coffee. Neighbor to the south has lovely landscaping so southern views are quite quaint and pleasant. A super choice for our 2 week stay near family.

Great alternative to hotel!

We needed a place for one night for a funeral. We didn't want to stay on the outskirts of town where the hotels are, so location was great! My kids loved having a bed and their own room. Me and my husband loved having our own room even more. Great find and was able to book somewhat last minute. All this and s better price than hotel.

What a GREAT place to stay!

I was lucky to able to stay here for the last 5-months. Eric and Andi are such great and wonderful hosts. Willing to help out when ever possible. The Gate House is located downtown Burley and within walking distance to several resturants, local establishments, churches and parks. Everything was within reach, which made this place a fantastic find. Due to work I was unable to go to the local attractions, but they are not far. A nice drive and you will be thinking oh my what a great gemstone we found here in Burley with the Gate House. I would recommend this place to everyone, and when I come back in the area this is the first place I am going to be calling. Cheaper then the local hotel and the hospitally makes it worth every penny!
