Property is child-friendly with walkout beach, concrete stairs going down to the water, Large FirePit Area on Concrete Slab with Umbrellas and Lounge Chairs, Spacious Dock with covered seating area, huge floating dock, swim ladder, diving board, plenty of area to tie up boats and jet skis, gentle rolling lawn, awesome views. Bring your boat, jet ski, kayaks or canoes to enjoy the lake. Small slide going into the water which the kids love.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay that was perfect for us. Enough space to spread out inside with even more outside along with a beautiful view day and night. Communication was great. Already planning a return to Charlotte next year and this is where we plan to stay.

Greatly enjoyed our stay, especially the dock and the porch swing looking up the water.The kitchen supplies can be upgraded, which is why overall four star rating. The carpet is really old too, but the place was clean. Had a nice time eating lunch on the table on the dock. Make sure to ask for use of boats if that’s your thing.There is only one bathroom, which was fine for two of us, but it was not in the master bedroom, so keep that in mind that you have to walk through the living room and kitchen to get to it.Location was great as it was close to nearby parks to go hiking.Also, a friendly kitty was a sweet greeter!

Lovely location on Lake Norman. Rental is a bottom unit with the owners on premises so you hear activity above you. Unit was very clean but could use a few updates. Musty smell and mold in the bathroom should be addressed.

Great location and beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed sitting outside and having most meals there as well. Had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Stayed here for 3 days. Very relaxing experience. We had concerns that lake waters could be too warm in late August, but this assumption was not confirmed.Great quiet location, well equipped. Ventilation is a bit loud in the bathroom, but you can't hear it from any bedroom.Short drive to stores/restaurants, Charlotte is within one hour should you want to go urban for a night.Overall, very satisfied.

We were so impressed with this property! Tucked away in a quiet little cove, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The swimming dock was great for fishing or just sitting and enjoying the view, and while we didn’t have time to use it, the fire pit by the beach and the covered pavilion on the dock were nice added touches. Inside, the home was clean, comfortable, and just right for our family to unwind. A highlight was the friendly property cat who greeted us each morning! We’ll definitely be checking this property’s availability for future trips to the area.

Everything was great for what we needed - which was a place to crash each night. The place was clean and stocked with towels, sheets, kitchen supplies, games and really anything we needed! Check in and out was easy. It was a very quiet place which was also very nice! I had to dig a little to find out that the apartment is connected to the owner’s residence - which wasn’t a big deal for us. But like I said it was great for what we needed especially since there aren’t any hotels around. I would certainly recommend it!

Wonderful dock!

The property owners are very nice and did accommodate an extra guest as add on. The dock is lovely!! However, the inside could use a lot of improvement. We had a baby in the crawling stage, and the carpets are very musky smelling. The bathroom & washer both have a sizable amount of mold visible. There’s a child upstairs, that is super noisy around 7am every morning and if your infant needs a nap, you can forget that. We had to sit in the car running, and let him sleep there. There’s also a swing set pictured, but it’s no longer there. The property has great potential and I hope they take it from this review to fix the hiccups. Thanks for the stay! We had a great time overall!

Relaxing long weekend at the lake. Beautiful lake house, comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. Full kitchen. Huge yard, very well taken care of. Finger section of lake, perfect for floating and swimming. Close to marinas with boat rentals. Close to stores and restaurants. Planning the next trip to Lake Norman already.

Awesome place directly on lake

Frank and Linda are awesome hosts. We arrived after 9 and they came out and helped us park our boat until we could get it in the water the next day. If you are looking for a 4th of July place to vacation, this cove is it! The neighbors let off fireworks for over an hour and a half! We were able to park our boat and walk down every morning, start it up and off to the lake we went. Good location to Mooresville and lots of attractions. Excellent hosts and experience.

Very Nice Lake Access

The kids enjoyed the water slide, diving board, and we did smores using the fire pit. Great lake access. The paddleboat was fun!

Lakeside Wonder

Absolutely beautiful stay at the Lake. 2 very spacious rooms, great living room and plenty kitchen space. Fantastic dock space for swimming. My family and I had an excellent stay! Highly recommend and will be back.

Lovely, peaceful, very pleasant place to stay while experiencing Lake Norman for the first time and exploring this part of North Carolina. We stayed at the property for a very enjoyable long weekend. Spot on a quiet cove

The fact that i have reserved and returned to this property over a period of 4 years says a lot. I am an octogenarian who kayak fishes and enjoys peace and quiet. This property meets my expectations for a turnkey setting and also has great fishing.The property is neat and clean and i will continue to return in the future.

Nice, quiet and friendly

We had a great stay. The apartment was clean and had everything you need in the kitchen to make meals with. My kids spent a lot of time fishing. Both catching their first fish while there. We spent nights at the campfire roasting marshmallows and hotdogs while reading scary stories. My kids really enjoyed the stay. Thanks for letting us make memories at your place.

Wonderful log cabin stay

Relaxing and inviting stay. We enjoyed the dock area and watching the ducks and geese. Very quiet and accessible neighborhood and location. Baxter, the neighborhood cat loves to visit. Wonderful beach and fire pit area. Hosts give you 100 percent privacy. Communication is excellent. You will not be disappointed booking this property.

Born and Raised on Long Island, NY. Always had a passion for the Water. Navy Veteran. Raised my family on a Water-Front home on Long Island that I personally built. Followed my son to North Carolina where we found and built this unique property. I live with my wife in the upper portion of this beautiful log home and enjoy renting out to guests our lower level. My grandchildren who are 7 and 4 often visit on the weekends. The lower level is totally separated with its own parking, entrance and lighted drive.
