The ancient and private building (recently completely renovated) is STRATEGICALLY situated just a few steps far away the "Roman Forum" and "Colosseum" park/museum. This property is located quite INSIDE the very Heart of the 'Old' Historical Centre ('Monti' district / "Rione #1") and is situated a few steps from the Angelicum Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas.
In the same street, there is also a SUBWAY stop (named "Cavour"). This could be very useful to reach the 'Termini' train station (#1 stop only) as to reach the the FCO airport.
The neighbourhood is charming, filled with local shops, groceries, bakeries, wine bars and lots of restaurants.
Perfect if you want to feel like you live a Local !

'As a starter', before the arrival, I will also send my personal list of suggestions for local restaurants, markets and more.

PROPERTY COMFORTS:
· Heating/air-conditioning system (new inverter machines: low consume/eco-friendly, very silent).
· Flat Tv.
· Ancient Wood Ceilings.
· 'Cotto' flooring.
· Hair dryer.
· Orthopaedic mattress (custom made - firm and confortable).

Laundry facilities are located a few steps far away the property.
A GARAGE-PARKING is also located just 100 meters far away the property.

All Rentals (cause longer than 30 days), by the italian Law, must be formally registered within #30 days since the rental starts. This formal lease document will be earlier provided to the tenant and has to be agreed and signed before key's collection.

Specifically, the total rental amount is also inclusive of:

■ TAX/VAT
■ FINAL CLEANING
■ A basic "welcome pack" (I hope this could be useful on your arrival day) that includes hand & shower-bath soap, toilet paper, dish soap.
■ SATELLITE (flat Tv)
■ Extraordinary maintenance
■ Linens & towels (1 set)
■ UTILITIES (water/electricity/condominium).

The total rental amount is "ALL INCLUDED".

This property is an open space studio apartment. The kitchen corner has #2 electric fires. The kitchen corner (full wood custom made) is also equipped with an Italian coffee maker, a french press, kettle, microwave, refrigerator and meal/cooking utensils. The large bathroom has a glass shower box. All windows (even if the narrow street has a very low car traffic) are double glasses provided to improve comfort.
Tasteful furnishings and fixtures complete the apartment's interior: refined pictures, ancient wood ceilings, “cotto” flooring, 'full wood' (hand made !) furnitures, LCD tv, NEW A/C, hight quality custom made mattresses (medium-hard feeling).

I will be always available during your stay (my mobile is 24h on).

We loved The Donatello Apartment.

This studio apartment was perfect for us, big bed, nice kitchen, on the 2nd floor, TV, Wifi, beautiful bathroom with bathtub and shower and nicely appointed. The owners were extremely helpful. It is located in a great area with restaurants and stores ( on Corso) all around ...very close to important sites and not far from the Termini train station. Metro 2 blocks away. We loved it and would definitely go back.

When in Rome...

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It's in a very happening neighborhood. The colosseum is a short walk away and restaurants, pubs, markets, shops and the subway are just steps away. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and the woman who greeted us was very nice. The patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and a glass of vino at night. This is definitely a city apartment so it's very compact and the streets buzz at night but it all contributed to a very authentic Roman experience. There is no elevator and this unit is up 4 flights of stairs. We didn't mind but you may want to try one of the lower units if that could be a problem. We stayed in a 5 star hotel last time we visited Rome but this is the way to go!

Monti stay!

This Vrbo stay in Rome was perfect for my vacation needs. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and a good value. The host went above and beyond what is normally expected to make sure all of my needs in a Rome stay were met. The location near the Cavour metro stop made traveling around Rome quick and easy. Also there were many great coffee bars and restaurants nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in this apartment.

Rome home!

Great place to stay in Rome, especially if you are planning to walk the city like we did. Very well located, busy street below with food and drink handy. The apartment is perfect for a travellers needs and very quiet when windows are closed. We would definitely recommend staying here to our friends and family! Alessio is a great host very welcoming when we arrived and he had lots of local recommendations.

Autumn Rome Vacation

We had a great stay at the property. Alessio was prompt in meeting us at the apartment, provide a great deal of very helpful information regarding the neighborhood, nearby shops & restaurants. He walked us through everything in the apartment and it matched up 100% with the information on the property and we had a wonderful stay. Overall great. Would defintly use his property again.

Alessio was very easy to work with. His property was clean, neat and very accessible to many of the attractions within Rome. His communication throughout the process was extraordinary. He provided many suggestions for places to eat and how to get access to local attractions. We had an experience with the local taxi service from the airport to his property and he met us upon arrival and made sure that we were paying the correct amount. He then spent time showing us around the quaint neighborhood pointing out the places to eat dinner and the lovely breakfast restaurant. He even called the local taxi driver to arrange to pick us up and take us back to the airport the day we left. You can find any amenity within a 5 minute walk (groceries, ATM, restaurant, Metro, etc.) and the Coliseum and Forum are only 10 minutes away. The studio apartment had all the amenities needed and to eat in or just walk across the street for a lovely dinner.

Great place explore ancient Rome from

The property is in a great location close to the sites and places to eat. You can buy food and cook it in the apartment too. The owner gave us a tour of the street when we meet him which was a nice touch. Surprisingly, it was fairly quiet on the 2nd floor we were on (there are 4 levels). Street noise was minimal which was nice. If I return to Rome, I would this spot again.

Perfect for seeing Rome

Alessio was a great host, providing a comprehensive list of amenities in the area and answering any question we had. A cozy place which gives easy access to all the major sites and has a close metro stop to the train station if you are traveling that way. A great way to get a “feel” for Rome, my daughter and I had a wonderful experience.

Excellent location, comfortable apartment for a couple, nice neighbourhood, helpful landlord. Possible inconvenience: 2nd floor, no lift, 30 rather steep stairs. But that posed no problem for me, aged 86 nor for my wife aged 78.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé 3 nuits chez Alessio. J’avais déjà repéré le quartier mais je ne soupçonnais pas à quel point il était joli et idéalement placé ! Nous avons donc pu tout visiter à pied : 15 min du Colisée, 20-25 min de la fontaine de Trevi et du Panthéon... 45 min du Vatican.. Et après ces belles balades, nous avons pu profiter le soir des très bons restaurants et bars juste en bas de chez Alessio .. C’est un quartier très vivant et même si l’appartement est au cœur il est vraiment préservé du bruits de la rue. Nous avons appréciés la propreté et et la qualité de ce logement et adoré la disponibilité, de jour comme de nuit de Alessio qui nous a conseillé et surtout nous a organisé un transport jusqu’à l’aéroport le jour de notre retour à la dernière minute !! Si nous retournons à Rome nous reviendrons chez toi Alessio ! ;)

Wonderful stay in historical Roman neighlotsborhood

Our experience was perfect in every way. Alessio is, besides a warm and excellent person, the best host you would expect. He provided us useful information and helped with our luggage, both at arrival and leaving. The apartment is very nice and clean, decorated with very good taste and excellent materials. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Nearby there are lots of restaurants and different shops. Even though the neighborhood is very lively the apartment is very quiet and silent. You are within walking distance from the Colisseum and the Forum and about one hundred meters from a Metro station. It was our second stay at an Alessio's apartment and we would like to come back soon.

We had a perfect week in Alessio´s apartment. We liked very much the combination of antique and modern style, the well combined furniture and, of course, the central position in Rione Monti. From there you can reach every place in Rome by foot. Walking trough the centra of Rome is the best you can do. We loved the view from the Gianicolo hill! Alessio was a very gentle host and give us with no more cost the apartment above with the little nice terrasse. Thanks and Arrividerci, Jürgen and Frank

Wonderful vacation apartment

This is a great vacation rental. The location is convenient to sights and public transportation. There are abundant shops and restaurants right on the street. The owner could not be more accommodating. The apartment is small, but has whatever you would need.

My (adult) daughters and I very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were as advertised. The location was just a few minutes from the Colisseum and in a very walkable and enjoyable neighborhood of little restaurants and shops.It is also just about two minutes from a subway station, and just one stop away from the transfer to the second line, so it was easy to get around. The apartment is one room, so it was a bit cramped, but we were there only to sleep so it was not a problem. I would hesitate if I expected to relax in the apartment or had children who needed to be entertained. The owner was very easy to reach and helpful, including emailing me maps to a particular neighborhood and especially when I left my credit card in a restaurant! (I contacted him and he immediately got in touch with the restaurant to confirm they had it!) I would stay here again.

Excellent location and host

Alessio was proactive in making sure our travel plans were set for our trip. He sent ahead all sorts of information about the location, excellent local restaurants, as well as places to eat near other tourist sites around the city. The neighborhood is a few blocks from the colosseum the subway and many places of interest-- but you never feel like you are in a commercial center. He arranged our airport transfer car which was reliable,easier because of our luggage and only a few dollars more than the train. All in all a very attentive host and a comfortable apartment. Ideal for a trip in the center of Roma

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans ce très beau studio situé dans un quartier animée et très chaleureux en plus d'être en plein centre historique. L' appartement est bien équipé avec une salle de bain très fonctionnelle. Tous les sites majeurs peuvent être faits à pied ( Colisée à cinq minutes, forum romain à cinq minutes...). Notre hôte - Alessio - nous a très bien accueilli et ses conseils ont été parfaits. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir via Leonina.

Very well situated appartment

Alessio's appartment is very well situated.Very close to Cavour Metro station which makes commuting in Rome very easy but within walking distance of the Colosseo and of Via Dei Corso the main shopping street in Rome.There are also many good restaurants near Alessio's appartment and he gave us very good recommendations of where to go and eat.Alessio is always available and he gave us a hand to carry our luggage to and from the appartment-the Wifi internet connection is also very good-we spent a very enjoyable 4 nights in Rome and it is without any hesitation that we recommend Alessio's appartment to future visitors-we will surely be back-ciao
