A third stand-alone double/twin bedroom with its own bathroom and shower (it is a dependance named Torara) is available and can be combined with the house (ON DEMAND).
Lovely independent villa in Elba Island, on the coast between Marciana Marina and S.Andrea, just in the middle of Tuscany Islands National Park, in a quiet and charming place with enchanting sea lookout (sea view from terraces and all bedrooms windows). Equipped with large roofing terraces, tables, cradles and barbecue for an agreeable outdoor life the villa is fully furnished and accurately maintained.
Disposed on two floors it is composed by a large living room with sofa, ample and perfectly equipped open-plan kitchen and dinner area, two double/twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. An additional separated double/twin bedroom with its own bathroom and shower (it is a separate entrance dependance, 2 meters from the house) can be combined with the main house making a 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms accomodation, perfect for large groups or guest looking for a comfortable accomodation. The dependance (named Torara) is just on demand.
All the bedrooms (dependance included) have an enchanting and full seaview. The location is the ideal starting point for beach and sea life but also for charming trekking through forests, valley and mountains of Elba Island Natural Park, and for visiting medieval villages in the area. Quality of your stay will be guaranteed by comfortable accommodation and wonderful seaview over a magnificent blue sea.

The holiday home is situated on a beautiful location with amazing views. Andrew is a really kind and helpful host. The beach nearby is always peaceful, even in August. A quiet stay in the house also depends of the neighbors though. In our case the second week was rather busy (August). We recommend the house for swimming (snorkeling) and beautiful walks in the surroundings with lots of wildlife.

Better than we expected

We can confirm that the house is much better than what photo show, as well as its extraordinary views. We love the sea and in fact what we mostly appreciated is the fact that the sea can be seen from every terrace but also from every window of the house (bathroom included). We will definitely be back in the fall.

The sea

For people like us who live in a region without sea, the sea and the sea view are the most important thing. This house offers a wonderful sea view from every space: from the bedrooms, from the living room and, above all, from its beautiful side terrace. The house is simple, clean and functional, the location is quiet, surrounded by nature. We couldn't find better.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location in a natural and quiet environment, with a superb sea view. We appreciated that the house is located right on a crossroads of ancient paths, so you can start directly from the house and, passing through woods and countryside, walking you can reach on foot all the places in the surrounding area, as well as the beautiful bays of the coast below, reachable only on foot. We particularly appreciated the path of perfumes, which leads to Marciana Marina. Not to mention the short but beautiful path that goes down to La Cala, the main beach below the houses, which passes through ancient terraces, woods and streams. All strictly on foot and directly from the house. For us who love walking in nature it was a paradise. The house is cozy but very functional, with beautiful outdoor terraces. The sea view is magnificent both from the terraces and from all the windows of the house, including the bedrooms. The kitchen is new, as is the sofa and the mattresses, very comfortable. The style of the house and its paintings are very tasteful, I who own an art gallery I really appreciated it. My husband instead appreciated more the large stone barbecue that he enjoyed making work with the wood found along our paths. Despite the season we also managed to take a beautiful swim in La Cala with mask and fins, and I must say that I had never seen such a beautiful seabed. We will definitely return next year for a more summery and sea holidays. It is a place to discover.

Sehr ruhige Ferienwohnung im landestypischen Charme. Toller Ausblick und schöne Lage in der Natur. Grill, Dusche im Garten und Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer waren die Highlights. In der Küche war soweit alles dar, was man grundsätzlich brauch. Weg runter zum Wasser ist schon eine Herausforderung. Für hin und zurück sollte man zu Fuß gut 45 bis 50 Minuten einplanen. Kondition und körperliche Fitness vorausgesetzt. Wir sind in 7 Tagen 2 x runter. Öfter war uns bei über 30 Grad Celsius einfach zu viel. Der Strand unten ist sehr steinig. Der Weg dorthin ist leider etwas unansehnlich, da Plastikleitungen überall auf dem weg liegen. Wir hatten mit der Hitze und der Luftfeuchtigkeit in unserer Woche sehr zu tun. Auch unsere Kinder. Man konnte schlecht schlafen. Es fehlen Mückenschutzgitter in vielen Räumen. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, ist das echt schade. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und bemüht bei allem zu helfen. In Summe: Wir fanden es schön, mit genannten Hinweisen.

Dear Guest, thank u for your kind review, I am pleased to know u appreciated your stay. Just few tips: path to the beach below is short, just 650m, and it takes 10 min downhill and 15 min (20 with all calmness) uphill ,and me and my childs often do it with flip-flops. The reward is a beautiful, lonely (also in August) still savage beach, that can be reached just on foot or by boat. It is comfortable, safe (for children), free (for dogs), intresting (over and under water), with shady corners, and never crowded. Mosquito nets were missed just on bedrooms windows and just because they were completely broken by a huge thunderstorm. Even if I guess (and my guests confirmed to me) in bedrooms they are not so useful (mosquitoes can get in from the two exit doors of the house and never get out and, with nets, air circulation is highly reduced), I will easily restore them. In addition, the house is equipped with anti-mosquito electric devices, that can be set in bedrooms in late afternoon and switched off before sleeping. In my house (we have our family house in the same place), there are no mosquito nets and we use devices as decribed. Again, I always provide a mosquitoes disinfestation arond the housed every 2 weeks, that's why mosquito's number is anyway really low. Finally, thenk u to let me have the chance to talk about these tips, I hope I could host u again in the future. Sincerely Andrew

A very nice house in calm surroundings, close to the sea (only a short walk around 10 minutes). We had a wonderfully relaxing week surrounded by nature. The two outdoor seating areas ensures enough space for both reading and eating. The house was perfect for us, a family of four. The walk to the small beach is a little steep at times, but well worth it since you have the beach almost to your self. A lot of nice villages and other small beaches a shirt drive from the house. The owner was very helpful when we had questions about the island.

Wir waren als Familie sehr zufrieden mit dem Haus. Super netter Gastgeber, der all unsere Fragen nett und höflich beantwortet hat. Das Haus war sehr sauber, Küche gut ausgestattet so dass uns nichts fehlte.Das Highlight der Wohnung, ist die Terrasse mit Meeresblick. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen sicher das zweite mal.André vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Wer die Ruhe in einer traumhaften Landschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Gastgeber hat tolle Tips für schöne Wanderungen und Restaurants. Zwei schöne ruhige Strände sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein schönes Naturparadies in welches wir wieder sehr gerne kommen werden. Danke für die tolle Zeit.

Eine Oase der RuheWer absolute Entschleunigung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben jede einzelne Minute genossen. Vogelgezwitscher, Meerblick und Meeresbrise an jedem Fleck, zwei wunderbar schattige Terrassen ,aber auch Sonne,wenn man sie sucht, herrliche Sonnenuntergänge,Glühwürmchen am Abend , Sternenhimmel und ja manchmal auch Wildschwein Grunzen in der Nacht ;) Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man im Urlaub so braucht,ohne überladen zu sein. Sehr bequeme Betten,neu renovierte Bader. Wir hatten das Glück,dass Andrea,der Vermieter auch da war und jederzeit freundlich mit Rat und Tat ( auch auf Englisch )zur Seite stand . Als Ausgangspunkt für diesen wunderschönen Teil der Insel ideal,direkt am Küsten-Wanderweg. Der Fußweg zum Hausstrand erfordert eine gewisse Fitness,ist aber in der Hochsaison sicher lohnenswert,da die Bucht schön und sicher nicht überlaufen ist.Man ist schnell in St Andrea sowie an der spektakulären Westküste aber auch das pittoreske Marciana ist nicht weit.Bezüglich Einkaufen tut man gut daran, sich gleich bei der Ankunft in Portoferraio etwas einzudecken,ist aber auch in St Andrea und Marciana möglich.Wir möchten unbedingt wieder kommen!

Ein wunderschöner Ort, von dem aus man direkt auch ohne Auto tolle Wanderungen starten kann. Wir und unser Hund wurden von Andrew herzlich aufgenommen. Wir haben das riesige eingzäunte Grundstück, die Privatsphäre und die vielen schönen Sitzplätze mit Meerblick sehr genossen.

Wir sind in Erwartung einer schönen Villa hingefahren. Das Haus liegt nicht alleine, man nimmt gern Anteil an den Nachbarn. Die Lage ist einsam und der Strand aus Steinen für junge Menschen sicher erreichbar, für ältere ist es steil. Der Geruch des Hauses war schon bei Ankunft ekelhaft, nach 3 Nächten nicht mehr zu ertragen. Unsere Versuche, selber Abhilfe zu schaffen, scheiterten. Der Vermieter nahm das nicht ernst bis er nach 3 Tagen kam und bleich wieder rausrannte. Er hat dann das Bad unter Chlor gesetzt und erwartet, dass wir das wegwischen. Tut man gern im Urlaub. Wir sind lieber abgereist. Zum Thema Beschreibung: Das Wort Villa hat im deutschen und italienischen eine andere Bedeutung und weckt damit Erwartungshaltungen vor allem bei einem so hohen Preis.Der Vermieter selber beschreibt es als Casa rural. Die Fliegengitter waren zerrissen, die rückwärtige Tür sah aufgebrochen aus, der Kleiderschrank hatte eine falsch montierte Tür, man musste zunächst den Nachtisch wegräumen. Für 4 Tassen Kaffee benötigt die Maschine über 20 Minuten, wir entkalken auch gern Kaffeemaschinen im Urlaub. Bettwäsche war nicht vorhanden, Plüschdecken schon. Alles in allem leider eine sehr schlechte Urlaubserfahrung. Der Vermieter sagte zwar zu, uns bei Schlüsselrückgabe einen Teil zu erstatten, hat sich daran aber auch nicht gehalten.Alles in allem: Wenn der Gestank nicht gewesen wäre, hätten wir es abgehakt als dumm gelaufen und zu teuer bezahlt, passiert. So war es einfach Betrug.

Traumhafte Lage mit tollem Meeresblick. Fußweg zu wunderschönem, kaum besuchtem Kiesstrand ca. 20 Minuten über steilen Pfad (gutes Schuhwerk empfohlen). Check-in prima. Kommunikation mit sehr nettem, stets hilfsbereitem Vermieter schnell und unkompliziert. Fehlende oder defekte Ausstattung wurde rasch ergänzt. In der Küche alles benötigte vorhanden bis auf eine Pfanne.

Natur, Ruhe und der schönste Blick aufs Meer

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Der Blick von den beiden Terrassen ist umwerfend. Die Glühwürmchen, die Wanderungen und die kleine Kapelle hinter dem Haus. Alles wunderschön. Der Kamin hat es uns schön gemütlich gemacht, als das Wetter kühl und regnerisch war. Für Sommertage ist es aber noch schöner. Irgendwo ums Haus rum ist immer Sonne und irgendwo immer Schatten. Für alle, die Natur und Ruhe suchen ist dieser Ort ein Traum. Bei uns waren die beiden Häuschen links und rechts unbewohnt, daher hatten wir den Ort ganz für uns. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Tolle Insel, Natur pur, einfache Unterkunft

Bei schönem Wetter ist die Insel ein Traum und die Unterkunft zwar spartanisch ausgestattet aber ausreichend, da man dann eh nur auf den Terrassen sitzt und den Meeresblick genießt. Bei viel Regen, den wir leider hatten, kommt die Unterkunft an ihre Grenzen (undichte Türen, keine Überdachung, um trocken ins Nebengebäude zu gelangen, alles wird klamm und man bekommt Handtücher etc. nicht mehr getrocknet ).

besonders gefallen hat uns die anbindung an die wanderwege gleich vor der haustür. das haus ist einfach aber mit allem notwendigen eingerichtet. marco und seine frau waren sehr hilfsbereit und stets erreichbar. für naturliebhaber ein wunderbarer ort!

Ruhige, gemütliche Unterkunft mit bemühtem Eigentümer

Die Kommunikation und der Check in verlief reibungslos. Man bekam das Gefühl, dass man sich jederzeit melden kann, wenn was gebraucht hätte. Gemütliches Haus mit Ausblick aufs Meer. Ohne Auto ist die Unterkunft jedoch schwer erreichbar.

Stupendo

La casa di Andrew fa parte di un piccolo agglomerato di case sopra una collina, ed offre una vista mare stupenda. Il posto è magnifico e tranquillo: non c'è passaggio auto, e dalle case si possono imboccare molti sentieri, sia per andare al mare, sia nei boschi circostanti. Al mare si va direttamente a piedi dalla casa, attraverso un sentiero (10 minuti). La casa è confortevole, ben curata, con la cucina e i bagni nuovissimi, ed offre vista mare da tutte le sue finestre (compreso il bagno), cosa secondo me unica. Ciò che abbiamo apprezzato di più, oltre alla vista ed al confort, sono stati il barbecue, la doccia esterna e la terrazza vista mare dove ci siamo goduti le nostre giornata con una bellissima vita all'aria aperta. Grazie a Andrew che ci ha dato questa stupenda opportunità. Torneremo sicuramente.

Ausgezeichnetes Haus mit herrlichem Meerblick von den Terrassen, aber auch von den Schlafzimmerfenstern! Außergewöhnlich. Wir genossen die Ruhe und Natur um uns herum sehr. Das Haus war sauber und gemütlich, Andrew ist ein perfekter Gastgeber.

Excellent

Excellent, from every point of view: accomodation (functional and comfortable), place (quiet and natural), view (wonderful seaview). The photos don't do justice to the beauty of it all (ex kitchen is new, as well as TV). Highly recommended.

Ottimo

A stand alone house with two floors looking the sea. Sea view from bedrooms bathroom and terraces (overall its lateral). The house is simple but functional, good for no worries holidays and outdoor is absolutely quiet and privy, we appreciated. Place is what we dreamed. We are fully satisfied.

We loved it

The house is a detached villa with its own private outdoor spaces. Simple but very comfortable and functional furniture. Terraces are fantastic and allow to live outdoor and with a sea view most of the time. The scents are those of the forest, the Mediterranean scrub and the sea. Enchanting place, a small group of houses at the end of a road, facing the sea just where the sun sets. There is no car passage, it is a quiet and safe place, full of peace and nature. There is a path to the beach starts near the house and arrives in La Cala, a beautiful free still savage beach of fine pebbles with wonderful colours, always uncrowded (it can be reached just on foot) and quiet. There are so many activities to do, we never got bored. Other paths start near the house and can go on foot to explore the coast below, or to Sant'Andrea , or even through forest up to Marciana Marina: spectacular trekking. Finally, in this place the car is only needed to go shopping or to the restaurant, the rest can also be forgotten. Thank u.

Tranquillo e sicuro

Luogo stupendo, immerso nel verde e nel silenzio, vista mare magnifica. La strada che porta alla casa finisce là quindi non vi è alcun passaggio auto. Il che rende il tutto ancor più tranquillo, ed anche sicuro, sia per i bambini sia per gli animali. La casa è bella, pulita e ben curata. La suddivisione tra zona giorno e zona notte, ed i due bagni, la rendono molto funzionale. La vista mare dalle finestre delle camere poi è eccezionale. L’ampia terrazza laterale offre spazio sia per prendere il sole sia per pranzi e cene con vista mare e tramonto. Consigliato.
