After a long day of fun in the sun at Sandbridge Beach, retreat to your own waterfront haven to take in the spectacular sunsets from your covered deck less than 10 steps from the water. Views so amazing it feels like being on a boat. The views give this cottage its luster, but the feeling of serenity gives it its spirit. Escape to your own private oasis for relaxation, connection and adventure.

We have tried to think of everything you need to enjoy an amazing beach getaway. This waterfront RV cottage is the perfect home base whether you are seeking a quiet relaxing escape or something more adventurous. The expansive covered porch on this home with ample patio furniture provides endless opportunities to take in the breathtaking sunsets and abundant wildlife on the Back Bay. There are lounge chairs for relaxing and sunbathing next to the water or you can play a game of cornhole while soaking up the views. If you are feeling adventurous, take a paddle using the two single person kayaks available for exploring the bay or bring your fishing poles and try your luck at landing the catch of the day - your porch is less than 10 steps from the water! You are welcome to use our beach chairs and umbrella for your beach time. In addition, the gated Surfside complex provides two outdoor pools, a sauna, playground, fitness room, tennis/pickleball courts (we provide pickleball racket/balls for your use), basketball court, and boat ramp for you to enjoy during your stay. There are miles of trails in the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park for you to enjoy, you can walk/hike or bike (bring your bicycles or rent them locally). If you choose to spend some time indoors, we invite you to enjoy the electric fireplace, the 2 flat screen smart TVs with cable TV, WiFi, a Playstation with assorted games, and a selection of board games, books and movies. We want you to unwind from the stress of day-to-day life and go home refreshed, we do not give you a list of cleaning or chores to do before you depart.

**Your Cottage**
To ensure that you enjoy a restful vacation, there is a private master bedroom with new queen sized Helix Sunset Luxe mattress. This home also has a twin day bed with twin size trundle bed with memory foam mattresses (this provides two twin beds for sleeping), washer, dryer, gas grill, an efficiency kitchen (including dishwasher and other typical appliances and housewares), and a private bathroom with standard plumbing fixtures (not RV or camper style). We provide a Ninja Foodie air fryer oven, convection microwave, and gas cooktop (but no traditional oven). No smoking is allowed. Pets are generally welcome (subject to a pet fee).

**Location**
Although only a 15 mile drive from the bustling Virginia Beach Oceanfront, the Sandbridge Beach community feels like a world away with its low key, uncrowded beaches, serene bay views, and close proximity to miles of undeveloped, protected shoreline for you to explore. There are no hotels in Sandbridge, only private residences.

You can bike or walk to the beach, however there is free on-street parking near the many public beach access points and this home is located near Little Island Park which provides parking, bathhouses, playground, and a fishing pier for your beach outing. The resort is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and this home is located on the water near the back of the resort to provide you additional privacy and unobstructed Back Bay views.

Please be aware that this is a park model RV, so our cottage is best for small groups as it is cozy. Also, we are located in a gated RV resort. The other lots in the resort are privately owned and are occupied by other recreational vehicles.

Due to the seasonal nature of rentals and the need to monitor our property when it is unoccupied, we have an exterior doorbell camera and an exterior camera facing the parking area. We have no interior cameras. We respect our guests’ privacy, but took this measure to ensure we can safeguard our property.
