Located on the peaceful upper Keys, in Islamorada, this home is situated in the quiet residential neighborhood of Venetian Shores MM 86. Immediate access to ocean and Bay side off of Snake Creek. Islamorada is is just 75 miles from Miami and 86 miles from Key West. The average temperature is 80 degrees and 78 degrees for the water. Islamorada sits between the clear waters of the Florida Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, it is bestowed with a Coral Reef three to five miles offshore that is filled with spectacular life.
Two story home
This 3 bedroom, 3 bath, private home is equipped with many extras including this heated (at 80-82 degrees) swimming pool that is partially shaded so you can enjoy floating with a cool drink leisurely. WIFI ready. This vacation gem boasts large rooms furnished in rattan and decorated with a tropical flair. You can see this view from the living room, dining room, and kitchen as it has four large sliding glass doors opening upon our large deck.

First bedroom has a queen-size bed with a private full bathroom and plenty of natural sunlight. TV in the room .New tiles, this room has been totally renovated with it great poster bed. The second newly tiled bedroom has king bed, with TV
Fully renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, Flat screen computer with high speed internet. Also WIFI ready.
Our master suite, all tiled. It is at the pool level. You can just walk-out in the morning and enjoy the refreshing view and sit on the deck, this view is of the large sitting room with the king-size bed in the background. It opens totally up on the pool deck with sliding glass doors. Heated kidney shape pool at 82 degrees , dogs permitted upon request $300 deposit per pet

I really loved the location of this property. The issues I had with the property or the cleanliness, the lack of basic supplies in the house to maintain its cleanliness, issues with some pool furniture that was broken and has obviously been that way for quite a while. Pool maintenance being done in the middle of a weeklong rental. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but the owner of the property refused to address any of the problems along with VRBO until I disputed part of the payment with my credit card company. That’s just bad business. This house is in a great location and I would give it a five out of 10. I stay in a lot of rentals and I’ve stayed in a lot better for a lot less. It’s just not worth the amount they are renting it for. It wasn’t clean, I left one trash bag in the trashcan for an entire week of seven occupants. There were no basic bathroom supplies. The outside bar had obviously not been cleaned in a long time and there were rusted through broken pool chairs that should’ve just been removed a long time ago. We were without water for almost a day and a half and the pool maintenance company added chemicals to the pool in the middle of our stay. We filled our own propane tank. I am used to having one or two small little things happen and I have never left a bad review before. But this one had numerous things happening all at once right from the very beginning of the rental. The lack of addressing these or concern for it was the biggest disappointment.

We had such a great week here! The house was spotless when we arrived and had plenty of parking for our whole group. The location couldn’t be better — just minutes from great restaurants, marinas, reefs, and of course, the famous Islamorada sandbar. We loved having the seawall deck that fit both of our boats, and the pool was the perfect way to relax after long days out on the water.Inside, the kitchen was large and well-equipped, making it easy for us to cook up delicious meals, gather together, and play games in the evenings. Everything was comfortable and well set up for groups, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and convenient spot in the Keys!

Check in was simple and straightforward. Lovely neighborhood, terrific location. The furniture is quite dated throughout. For older family members, the rattan in the living room was uncomfortable and low to the floor. The downstairs room had a musty odor and an open box of Damp-Rid on the bookcase. The bedroom dressers downstairs also had a musty odor when you opened the drawers so we didn’t unpack. We enjoyed our stay for the most part but the house could use some care and attention.

“Heated” pool never got warm enough to get into. 6 bath wash clothes and 6 of us staying. Pots & pans were not usable. Just very disappointed versus the amount we had to pay.

Amazing location - rustic style house

We’ve stayed before and loved the location. The outdoor area is perfect for boating and entertaining. I’ve said this in a review from last year and it stands true still, it needs some major updating as far as the furniture, bedding and appliances. The blender is from 1970 and doesn’t work and there definitely was not enough basics like silverware. The grill and stove are great to cook on. The fridge is fine. It just needs some more cutlery updated smaller appliances like a coffee maker and definitely better seating in the living room for the evenings. It’s outdoor furniture and we had to put blankets over them because they were so stiff. That said, it’s still worth a stay because the convenience of the dock and neighborhood make up for the deficiencies. The

Wonderful time at the keys!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Venetian Tropics. You just can’t beat the location. The house is was very roomy and accommodating. We loved going to the both sides the ocean and the bay waters but after all enjoyed chilling in the pool. The house is located in the very beautiful neighborhood. Will come and stay again!

Classic Keys Home

JoAn was a pleasure to deal with, great communication. The house is in a great location. It’s a classic keys home with the charm of what the Keys has always been. We will be returning to this rental, as it was perfect for us. It is good to note that if you are driving to the Keys and are able to, it would be safe to bring your own cooking utensils and pans, as the ones provided are very aged and toxic to use at this point…but we see that as an easy fix since Publix is now a short distance away.

Keys vacation

We liked having separate living areas for two couples and common areas for cooking and eating. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. We loved the private pool and enjoyed seeing the huge fish, manatees and many varieties of birds in the canal. This property was also very close to excellent restaurants and ice cream shops! We would highly recommend this property!

Amazing location and outdoor living space

We had a great vacation and the property is amazing. Outdoor space is perfect in every way. Dock and pool and decks were pristine. Only suggestion would be update on the furniture upstairs. Super uncomfortable and not enough seating to enjoy tv/football games as a family. Probably need extra bedding and better pillows especially for the pullout beds. Pillows in upstairs master were flat. Could use some additional utensils, namely forks and spoons and measuring cups and measuring spoons. Definitely need updated appliances like a blender and crock pot. They were very outdated and we couldn’t use them. But none of that prevented us from enjoying the house and the layout. Just suggestions for next guests or just remove those from the appliances there. I would’ve brought my own if I knew. We ended up buying measuring cups and plastic utensils for the two week stay. Also, ceiling started blowing out insulation the last two days so Not sure what happened there but the counter was covered with little pieces of insulation coming from the vent above the counter with the stove.

We traveled to the Keys for many years because of my husband's love of scuba diving and his dream was to one day be able to afford a house on a canal where he could one day retire to. One day I just decided to say , lets look at houses and I fell in love with this house and even though it seemed out of reach for us at the time, I thought with many sacrifices we could do it. We struggled for a while but we made it happen by renting it and we are still renting it as we are not yet retired and as landlords it seems one never retires, but no complaints, we are happy to share our vacation home for others to enjoy . We continue to improve and ad new things and always appreciate ideas to make our vacation home as friendly as possible.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

What I fell in love with the moment I saw the house was the pool and pool deck and it's uniqueness along with the chiki bar and deep sailboat canal. The large upper deck viewing the pool and canal was also very impressive. I just had to get this dream house no matter how hard I had to work to get it... and though it was a crazy idea we made it happen. My husband was just as excited about the prospect of having his dream house and we plowed forward and never regretted it.
