Located next to the Waipio Lookout, our rain forest property is the perfect place to recharge and rejuvenate. We’re a ten minute drive to Historical Honoka’a Town. Our "Banana Belt" climate is perfect!

This is a one of kind, unique one bedroom romantic and whimsical log cabin getaway that overlooks the Waiulili stream, gulch and waterfall. There is nothing else like it on the Island. Hand painted detailing, charming and fun, adorn the exterior walls and floor. There is a small kitchen, all original cabinetry, and includes a mini-refrigerator with freezer, toaster oven with convection function, microwave and dual infrared stovetop; dishes, silver-ware and coffee maker. It is fully furnished and cozy with a king sized bed and couch for putting your feet up and resting. There is a separate dining and office space that overlooks your private waterfall!

The bathroom has a shower overlooking the stream, and its own separate sitting area. Separate from the main room of the cabin, the bathroom is accessed by turning to the right under your private lanai.

We have HiSpeed Internet and cable TV. For the remote worker or writer, the cabin can be your live-in remote office or studio. Washer and dryer are available on premises.

Running through the middle of the property is a peaceful year round stream, molded with spiritual sized rocks and surrounded by rain forest. The stream cascades over small waterfalls among the rocks, and terminates in a dramatic 50 foot water fall. Put your feet in the water, play with the craw fish, or layout on the rocks in the sun. Listen to the rushing sound of the river, enjoy a book by the stream or explore the magical gardens that weave in and out of the gulch.

There is a shared BBQ area for your use by the stream in the gulch.

Our sunny climate is tempered by the trade winds. There is a constant breeze keeping temperatures cool, comfortable and perfect. We're a five minute walk to the Waipio Valley Lookout. Take in the majestic high valley cliffs and ocean views. Watch whales breaching with views to Maui.

Guests have access to the magic gardens, backyard to the small cabin, the front yard garden in front of the log cabin primary residence, the gulch and to views of the waterfall. There are two apartment units at the front of the property that you do not have access to, though both can be rented for additional guests. There are also two rental units that are wings to the primary log cabin residence that can be rented for additional guests.

When our schedules permit we enjoy meeting with our guests to go over house rules, and to orient our guests on the property. We appreciate that guests keep us apprised of their plans for arrival, and to let us know when they're checking out. We encourage our guests to use the guidebook in our AirBnB listing but are more than happy to check-in and make recommendations. We want our guests to reach out via the Airbnb chat application or to call if they need anything or to let us know if something in their rental unit is not working.

There is parking on the premises. Bring your feet and good walking shoes to get around. You'll need a car to drive to town.

The cabin is at the rear of the property and is very private. No loud music, and no large outdoor gathering after 10:00 PM. No smoking permitted.

Use of the shared BBQ area is for guests staying two nights or longer.
Use of the laundry is for guests staying two nights or longer. Laundry hours are from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

The cabin is designed for two adult guests. No additional guests allowed. Additional guests must be approved in writing by the host. There is an additional charge of $40 per night for an added guest.
There is only one parking spot for the unit. Additional vehicles must be parked on the road off the property.
No overnight guests.
No illegal activities.
No illicit drug use.

Use of the shared laundry between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM is for guests staying more than one night.

Use of the BBQ / Wood pellet grill is for guests staying more than one night. Please clean up after use. Thanks!
