This Rustic Remote cabin was built in 1925 and is located in the Sequoia National Forest which is the home of various wild life such as deer, turkeys, bears and more. Exercise reasonable caution if you encounter wildlife. It is 10.7 miles (approx 23 minutes) from the Visitor Center in Grant Grove Village in Kings Canyon Nat'l Park and less than 20 miles (approx 30 minutes or less traveling on Generals Hwy through the park) to Sequoia Nat'l Park and Shermans Tree. Located off of main road No long dirt driveways to go down. Please be sure to park in your designated parking area. There will be a marker displaying Stansfield Cabin. This clean and cozy cabin sleeps 2. Window unit AIR CONDITIONER IN BEDROOM! Amenities include Wi-Fi, Smart TV, formal dining room, basic stocked kitchen, deck Apartment size refrigerator, Micro-wave and smaller size oven. Cabin has breakfast nook, living area and restroom. This cabin is surrounded by giant evergreen trees. If allergies are a problem, this cabin may not be for you. Cabin is Easy Self-Check In. Single night stays welcome as well as 2, 3, 4, & 5 night stays. In case of snow, snow shovels are provided for guest to use. NO smoking of any kind anywhere on this property in the cabin or outside.
