Gorgeous remodel completed May 2012 and updated in the fall of 2020. Designers personal 2400 square foot 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom vacation residence. Vintage Mid -Century modern. New everything! Gorgeous Mid-Century modern/transitional decor. Each large bedroom contains a king size bed, it's own en-suite bathroom with sunken roman tub/shower. All bedrooms have flat screen televisions, 600 t.c. linens Ipod/Iphone docking stations. Master bedroom equipped with work station with free wifi, HP printer. 2 car covered carport. Huge swimming pool with 7' swim up bar and outdoor television. Indoor and out door fireplaces. 60' flatscreen TV in living room, with surround sound and direct TV. Kitchen is equipped with 48' refrigerator all new cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Permit # VV-0029. We are only allowed to rent monthly.

Ideal Desert home away from home...

This home is ideally located in Indian Wells, on a quiet street with great exposure and privacy. We had all of the comforts of home - comfortable beds, beautiful ensuite bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen and entertainment centre. The heated pool and well kept yard provided a beautiful, quiet escape. To top it all off, the owner and caretaker took great care of us! Thanks again.

Super clean, spacious, comfortable and classy

I understand why Desi and Lucy chose this house to live in while they built the Indian Wells Country Club. The views of the mountains are a dream. It has everything you would want in a mid-Century home including sunken tubs, originally tile in three great master suites. The backyard has plenty of room for croquet and the four leaf clover pool with the sit around table.

Girls trip to the Tennis Garden

This home was clean, comfortable and classy! We took a group of ladies for the Tennis Tournament (March 2014) and made this vacation rental a home away from home. It is ideal for adult couples as well. If you choose to rent this property, you will not be disappointed. The picture makes the kitchen appear smaller than its actual size. The home was well designed and stocked with linen, towel and appliances to add to the overall experience. There is a lot of WHITE, so cleanliness and care is a must. The owner is easy to work - Thanks Trina for a nice stay!

A Gem in the Desert

We enjoyed our stay at Mike's property immensely, and will be sure to return. We have stayed in Palm Desert multiple times, and wanted to be in this location to be close to the Tennis Tournament. We initially chose this home for the location, but after staying here, we would choose this home for the home itself. We cannot rave enough about the Wonderful feel and flow of the home, which is highlighted by the amazing job that has been done in the selection of all the interior design elements of each individual room. The layout of the kitchen being connected to the living room, which is connected directly to the patio and pool area is a wonderful aspect of the home. As is the location of the Master Suite on one side of the living room and terrace, with the other two Junior Suites located on the other side, and all three bedroom ensuites have their own direct outdoor access. And the details! Each bedroom and bathroom has it's own ambiance, and they are all extremely well appointed and welcoming. It was only my husband and myself who stayed here, but with the layout of the home, it would lend itself easily to a larger family, three couples, etc. The outdoor space is lovely, with a welcoming pool, very comfortable outdoor furniture- two seating areas on the patio and four lounge chairs- and an extremely well maintained yard space. This home is a perfect place to use as a home base for any visit to the desert- whether you are coming to visit all of the attractions, or just want a place to come and get away from it all. Mike and his property manager are both extremely easy to communicate with, both responding quickly to all communications, and any questions we had were resolved immediately. They were both a complete pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend this home enough!!!

Classy relaxing retreat

We have stayed in Palm Springs a few times now trying a swiss miss, wexler & alexander. Finding the perfect place to stay can be a little tricky. Either the outside is nice and the inside isnt or vice versa. Luckily 5 star quality at a reasonable price is exactly what we got at this beautifully renovated property from the moment we arrived. It is in Indian Wells which is a little further south than we have stayed previously but found this to be an added attraction. Peaceful quiet area yet within minutes you can be at nice restaurants, a Westfield and only 10 mins drive to Rancho Mirage The River with plenty of shops and restaurants. We went to The Parker for dinner and that was a really great evening but Eureka just a few mins aways had the most delicious shiseito peppers. If you like quality this house will not disappoint, easily the best house in the road the imposing blue doors are beautiful. Being Summer we spent most of our time in the spectacular pool, there were a number of inflatables and a super inpool swim up table which was very useful, in the evening you could have a neon coloured pool by using the switch behind the left curtain. Aircon which actually worked was an absolute must have in 110 degrees along with extra ceiling fans. The lounge and adjacent kitchen are fit for purpose and again superb quality decor in complimentory colours made it very relaxing. Sliding doors lead out onto a large patio area with plenty of seating, fans and an outdoor tv. The bedrooms were large with huge beds (by UK standards) and ensuites were well designed with roman marble step-in showers. The only two changes I would add and this is just me being super picky would be a height adjustable shower. At the mo you can remove and hold the shower head which is no problem but my son and husband 6ft would of liked a hands free massaging height adjustable shower, I am only short so it was fine for me. The other thing we felt would benefit the property would be a fire pit for s'mores with an in-ground spa to the left for star gazing, again this is in no way detrimental to the property but would just add a little extra je ne sais quoi to this already outstanding home. Worth every penny Id definitely stay again but for longer next time. Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous property, oh and the bikes were great too. Kind regards The Benmore family x

Perfectly quiet great home and location

Have stayed in the Indian Wells area many times in various homes and this is our favourite. Great location, perfectly furnished home and pool area, very quiet neighbourhood.

Restful Retreat

We stayed at the Lucy house for 2weeks and in our book, this is a 5+ home! Located on a very quiet street, the home fit all of our needs and extremely well equipped. Decorated tastefully and with a modernism flair everything was very comfortable and very well maintained. The pool was wonderful and the beautiful view of the mountains was breathtaking. The few minor issues we had, the property manager ( Susie) was very quick to respond. The only negative I could say is the information listed on VRBO (check-in) could be more specific and definitely needs to be updated. Property manager has changed, we had no key code for entrance and internet info. We loved everything about this property and highly recommend it. Hoping to return very soon.

Beautiful pool backyard and lovely light filled home

Lovely house in a great location for our family of adult children and grandchild. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Everyone had a king bed with ensuite bathroom which gave all of us privacy. Beautiful home with mid century touches was very clean, well equipped with kitchen utensils, and lots of towels including beach towels. Large living space with enormous comfortable sofa. Great outdoor space for relaxing which included a TV for our football enthusiasts. Our 3 1/2 year old grandchild enjoyed the small shallow area at the pool steps but she was under careful watch at all times. She could open the sliding glass doors to the pool area. Property manager was responsive to pool cleaning and heating concerns although we missed using the pool several days due to the pool heater not operating properly. Everyone had a great vacation and we would definitely return.

A Lovely Home in a Quiet Neighborhood

This is our third visit to the desert this year where we have used a vacation home as opposed to staying in a hotel. We enjoy peace and quiet. And without hesitation I can say that this home is our favorite. For our three generation family, the location and the size are truly ideal, but more importantly, it is a comfortable home. There are three bathrooms and three comfortable king-size beds. Management is receptive to any concern/issue. The exterior and interior were so charming! The pool is a good size. My son loved the table with the umbrella is the pool! And it made for some cute pictures. My brother's only complaint was that there isn't a jacuzzi. From a mommy perspective, the house has a few disqualifiers for children. The house is beautifully appointed, and it needs to remain that way. All three bathrooms have open sunken shower/tubs without bars to hold onto. (I had to assist my 76 year old mother, but my 8 year old was extremely careful) If you have loud, rambunctious kids who like to horse around, or if you have young tots and are concerned about sharp edges, glass and the lack of a pool fence, this is not the house for you. There are 5 sliding glass doors leading to the pool. But if you have a responsible child or children, this place is family friendly. We highly recommend, and hope to stay here again soon!

Great home in well located area. We would love to return.

The lawn was very overgrown when we arrived. Once we inquired about having it mowed, lawn service was out within 24 hours. They returned for a 2nd time midway through our stay.

Fantastic house

Second visit for us and it’s a great property and good location for tennis, golf, close to El Paseo and shops and in a beautiful and quiet area. All the bedrooms are like Masters, with large and well finished en suite bathrooms. Open format suits casual, vacation inside/outside living very well. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay in this beautiful home!

Our group of 3 couples stayed in the house for 2 weeks. The home is beautifully appointed, nice and bright. We spent many afternoons in and around the pool. Although our weather was quite cool some days, it was always warm and well-protected in the back yard. The location was in easy driving distance to restaurants, activities, grocery stores etc. The only negatives we would comment on would be that the overall cleanliness could be improved but certainly was not a deal breaker. As well, pool temperature could have been warmer for our cooler weather. Otherwise, an outstanding vacation in a gorgeous character home!

Delivers Everything as Promised

Not too big, not too small in a lovely neighbourhood. The house is thoughtfully and thoroughly well equipped - from glasses to linens and towels, a well stocked kitchen and with the most comfortable king sized beds. Definitely hope to return, we loved our stay. Thank you.

Super Property

This is a lovely property . It is furnished tastefully and has all amenities . The property is spacious and maintained beautifully . It is presented wonderfully , well equipped and super clean . The agent and owner were extremely receptive and reactive and great to work with . My deposit was returned in full in a matter of days . I cannot fault the property . Excellent property

We have just spent a wonderful family Christmas in this lovely, characterful home. Our children loved the pool and outdoor space and we really enjoyed the high quality finish to the home. The location is excellent as well. It’s was such a good week we are looking to book next Christmas....it was that good...! Thanks Lane and Mike for all your help.

Showers need help.

It was a beautiful home and we had a great time. Showers were fine for me. I am 5ft tall. But would never work for tall people. Could have been a little cleaner but I am very picky. All in all I would stay again. Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous Mid Century home decorated impeccably! This is the perfect getaway!

This home is absolutely magnificent! King beds in each room, marble countertops in the bathrooms, amenities galore, awesome lounging pool, and designer decorated retro style 50's with a Red, White, and Blue theme! This house has it all! We can't wait to go back!

Nice mid century home but needs some maintenance.

Very nice spacious house. Beds were very comfortable, nice linens. Not as clean as I'd have liked, the pool was quite dirty from a wind storm and rain, we complained about it and were told the pool person wouldn't be coming till Tuesday (half way through our stay). Disappointed that the pool issue wasn't attended to earlier. We had a leak under the sink that seemed to be a problem from a previous leak that wasn't fixed. We weren't able to turn on the main TV and no one was around to show us how to work it. BBQ was very dirty with no propane in tank. House could be a 5 if these items were addressed in a timely fashion. Great neighborhood, nice part of palm dessert.

Beautiful home!

We spent Thanksgiving with our kids in this beautiful home in Indian Wells. Everyone loved having their own master suite and the pool and large lawn. This is a feel good oasis and we will definitely be returning to this beauty.

Awesome getaway

I stayed here for a girls' getaway and it couldn't have been a more perfect spot. The beautiful mid-century design makes you feel like you’re in another time—except with all the conveniences of modern times, like an outdoor TV and fireplace, washer and dryer, and gorgeous bathrooms that make you want to take 50 showers over the course of two days. It's such a true entertaining home. We lounged around that swim-up table for hours, and went on a long lazy bike ride on the retro beach cruisers that are in the side shed (along with lots of other pool toys and outdoor games). If you’re looking for a loungey weekend with friends or a fun spot to regroup with family, this is the perfect house. I said in my review that it's good for "tourists without a car" but that's with the recommendation that you do some shopping before you arrive. It's not far from necessities, but if you want to explore the Palm Springs area as a whole, you'd probably want to have a car. However, you won’t want to leave (and with everything you could ever want at your fingertips, you won’t have to). When the post-weekend texts all revolve around missing the house and the group would unanimously approve of a return visit, you know it’s a good sign.
