Beautiful, comfortable, and excellent location

We rented the house for a three day getaway in beautiful Tahoe with our kids and grandkids . The house was spotless, very comfortable and in a great location with easy access to the lake and heavenly ski resort. Would rent it again

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful place to have a family vacation!! Booked this for a 5 day stay for my family of 11. The accommodations were perfect for our needs! Location was beautiful! Very clean and communication with the rental management company was great!

Great location

The property is a bit dated and the beds are rather stiff but overall a nice place and great location. Easy drive to all the great sites in SLT.

Martin, thank you for your review. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed our home's prime location and ease of access to all South Lake Tahoe has to offer. We appreciate your feedback as well. Mattresses are tricky because what may be comfortable to one person might be uncomfortable to the next. Also, Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. For future guests to note, the pictures of the unit are updated and accurate. Thank you for staying with us Martin and we hope you enjoyed your time in Tahoe.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was perfect for three families, including children of various ages. The property is in a prime, highly convenient location—within walking distance to Whole Foods, with a shuttle to Heavenly nearby, and the lake just a minute away. The patio was especially convenient. The house was immaculately clean, very well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including linens, extra fans and heaters, and kitchen utensils. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy little place with a view of the lake

Location is very good with lake view and short walk to the lake. House was nice, comfy and well stocked. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

Great location

Great location and great property! Clean and much needed extra blankets due to the summer storm!! The only thing was the property in general was the fire pits. I wish there was a time limit but outside of that, great!

Ski week stay

Great location! 10 minutes from heavenly mountain and skiing was awesome. Plenty of food options in walking distance. Right next to lake with a view.Home had all amenities for cooking meals for 3 adults and 6 teenagers. Highly recommended!!!

Great location

Excellent location and charming unit. Steps from the lake and a park for the kids. The unit itself is a bit outdated. The WiFi didn’t work well but we didn’t mind as it forced the kids and adults to truly enjoy each others company.

Lovely location

Lovely location to see the Lake and access to it. The unit itself was wonderful. No complaints. It was unfortunate that after booking the larger complex closed the hot tub and pools due to resurfacing so we did not get to enjoy the extra amenities. We would have loved the hot tub and pool after a cold plunge in the lake. However, the actual unit was very good and I would stay there again! Loved location as walking to food and Whole Foods.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unavailability of the hot tub and pool during your visit - we understand how disappointing that must have been. For future guests to note, spring and summer are common times for maintenance projects in South Lake Tahoe due to winter restrictions. We promptly relay maintenance closures to our guests as soon as we are informed by the HOA to try to minimize disruption to plans. However, we’re truly sorry of the unfortunate timing of these closures over your stay dates Leanne. We hope to welcome you back again when you can also enjoy the updated amenities!

Great Location for us

We had a great time especially in the midst of Corona!! Enough beds for us all. Easy location especially with littles needing naps. Ceiling fans would be a welcome addition especially because of the skylights which make it too bright and sunny in summertime because IT GOT WARM inside!! Tinting or coverings on the skylights would also be a welcome addition.. Loved the patio and the beach.

We apologize for your discomfort that came along with the heat in the 80’s (we welcome these warm days after months in the snow). We hope you were able to make use of the portable fans in the home. For future guests, we always recommend leaving the windows and blinds closed during the day, but opening the windows during the cool evening hours. We hope you enjoyed your time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe!
