This lakefront townhouse is located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood yet close to all the amenities that Lake Tahoe has to offer. It's only 5 minutes to Heavenly Ski Resort, casinos, shops, restaurants, golf, etc.

You are going to love this location. Whether relaxing on the balcony overlooking the lake, barbecuing on the deck in the backyard, sunbathing on the sandy private beach or watching the sunset on the pier, you will be amazed by the spectacular views.

This two story townhouse has kitchen, dining room, living room, half bathroom on the first floor; master bedroom, full bathroom, guest bedroom, laundry room on the second floor.

As far as we are concerned, this is the BEST place to stay in Lake Tahoe! This is our 2nd time at this home and we love it!! Close to many places of food, casinos, shopping etc. When we come to Tahoe again we always hope to stay only here!! So relaxing and the views are magnificent!!

Lake Tahoe Vacay

The view is absolutely incredible!! Very relaxing.. the only slight negative was the private pier that is pictured on VRBO actually came apart in three places. The main part of pier was fine for us but you will need to swim to the other two sections. The maintenance and house cleaning staff were wonderful!

Perfection in Tahoe

An unbelievable view, privacy, plenty of amenities, great location. We had a wonderful time. So close to anything we needed which wasn't much. We were able to relax and partake in nature's splendor in this well kept place on the waterfront. Definitely a memorable trip and we hope to have the same location in the future. The great hosts were readily available and very friendly. Thank you, so much, for a perfect vacation.

Perfect location

You can’t beat the lake views this place has to offer. There is so much to enjoy in Tahoe and this is a great place to start your day of adventure and to wind down when done. The house is very dated but it is fairly easy to look past that and straight to the lake views. Check in was super easy. And amenities were minimal but sufficient (we did not have coffee but brought our own so we were fine). I would sure come back if the opportunity presented itself.

Perfect location

The views and location are perfect, highly recommend. We walked from the condo to lake parks & pathways, downtown eateries and shopping. The home is well appointed with comforts such as cooking supplies, clean linens and plentiful towels. Be aware, the decor is very very dated but clean, well maintained and comfortable. If you are looking for high end luxury, this is not your place. But if you like a great location and comfortable welcoming place like grandmas, this is a perfect location.

Thank you for the feedback. We are in the process of updating some of the decor, bringing in some comtempary style furniture, and adding a luxurious feel to this perfect location. We try to strike a balance between affordability and luxury, so that more people can have a chance to experience lakefront living.

Beautiful setting

Loved the location on the water. View from patio was fantastic. House was a little outdated, but clean. It could use some updating. I felt like we were back in the 80’s, but it was clean and comfortable. We would stay again. Be sure you check your spam folder for check in info. We didn’t get our check in info in our regular email and had to call, but got an immediate response with house code. Good communication with owner.

Very pretty view

This house sits right next to the lake, with extra pretty views. It has all the amenities needed for a multi day family stay, well equipped kitchen and a second toilet. It’s super nice and clean, obviously well maintained. A bit of heaven. There’s just one thing that some people might find a problem with - privacy. If the next door neighbors are in, they’ll walk by right on your patio, maybe even peeking in, and you do share the lake view lawn with them. Also if you come with a second car they may use your parking spot so be prepared to park on the street.

Our little getaway!

This property has great views and is super cute, however it’s very outdated and could use some upgrades! The mattress in the main bedroom leaves a lot to be desired, but the room itself is large and open. The listing advertises that you have your own private pier to utilize, which is definitely NOT accurate because the pier is broken into 3 large pieces with giant gaps in between, that are inaccessible and will not accommodate any people. Also, the lake is very full right now (yay!), so the private beach is totally gone. We drove about 10 minutes away to go to Pope Beach, which was very nice, but it would have been preferable to not have to leave the house to go to the beach, which was what we had planned when we booked the place. The kitchen is fully stocked, so we cooked most of our meals there and sat at the cute dining room table. The upstairs room is bright, but the downstairs and the rest of the place is quite dark. And the blinds in the master bedroom and living room are quite a fuss and seem to be on their last legs. It also gets very bright in the upstairs bedroom when the sun comes up, as there is no blackout curtain. Lily the host was great! She’s very prompt at responding and check-in was super easy. However someone was parked in our uncovered spot, which left us without a spot since our truck wouldn’t fit into the covered parking with our water toys on top that we couldn’t unload (due to no beach). All in all, we had a great time and I’m glad we made the trip!

Convenient townhouse on the lake

The best thing about this vacation home is the location in South Lake Tahoe. You walk off the deck and down the stairs to the private beach and pier. Sadly, due to the drought, the Lake is about 150 feet further out than it should be (about 40 feet from the end of the pier), so there's no swimming right off the pier. The townhome is still on the lake - it's just a lot further out. :) It's also walking distance to the city beach, park, bike trails and pretty close to eateries (less than a mile), and Heavenly resort is just 5-10 minutes drive away. In addition to the location, the townhome is quite spacious, set up with a deck and upper balcony and giant wall windows/slider doors, and is clean and comfortable. I will mention, as a previous reviewer did, that the overall décor is quite dated - guessing 70's-80's so it's a little like grandma's house, but it was well-cared for and maintained and that mattered much more to us. The deck was great and even though we shared a wall with the adjacent townhome we never saw anyone outside so it was nice to have a cute, private backyard and lake view, and the ability to go down to the private beach. There are a few boards on the stairs on the way down that are pretty dicey and hopefully the owner will have those shored up a little more. The only negative, and it's minor, was there is no natural air flow in the townhome. We were there just 2 nights in September so it may have been just a fluke but the way the townhome is positioned and tucked in makes it hard to get any type of natural air flow, even with the sliding doors wide open. Overall, we had a great stay. It would've been nice to be able to kayak off the pier, but that's Mother Nature's doing. We enjoyed stargazing on the pier, feeding the ducks and geese, and being close to everything. We'd definitely recommend this home!

Great place!

Renting this place was very fast and easy! Lily was so great and helpful when it came to giving information about checking in and out. The cabin was so comfortable and in a beautiful location RIGHT ON THE WATER. It was my sisters birthday and the best part was this spot

Most wonderful stay ever

Starting from a smooth checkin to late checkout Lily was always there to help us. We had to extend our stay due to storm situation and lily stood up for help. Everything in this property is worth every penny. From vintage dinnerware to a literal bear in the backyard (don’t worry you’re absolutely safe as long as you leave the bear alone). We stayed here for 4 nights it was truly an amazing experience. My baby loved the house so much she didn’t want to enter in her own home. Lots of activities and games for snow days and an impressive heating system. Highly recommend her to everyone.

Let down

Property location is prime! Beautiful lake view. The house stunk like fish odor, nothing we tried made it smell better. Furniture is uncomfortable, towels smelled bad, no instructions left for tv.
