An adorable 'Coastal Living' beach cottage nestled within 3-5 minutes walking distance between two pristine beaches!!
Ocean Beach (Pool, boardwalk, rides, mini golf and much more) Beach passes are provided for Ocean Beach. Waterford Beach is 1/2 mile away. Beach passes ARE NOT PROVIDED for Waterford Beach, but travelers can get access by paying for parking.

This home is a 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage which includes two queen size beds & a pullout sofa.
The home is just recently remolded with new appliances , granite countertops, flooring , windows and freshly painted . It is fully appointed with the best amenities. . . updated kitchen, washer/ dryer, wireless internet, new widescreen smart TV ... and a beautiful large deck area that overlooks the quaint beachy neighborhood setting with a gas grill for dinning 'Alfresco' under the night stars & moonlight. (Some nights you may even catch fireworks. . .so close you 🇺🇸🏡🇺🇸

The house was great for our family and really loved its close proximity to the beach. The instructions were easy to follow and check in was seamless. Highly recommend adding Capt Daniel Packer Inn to restaurant suggestions...it was amazing.

Amazing location! Just a short walk from Ocean Beach and a 10 minute drive from downtown New London. The house is very cozy and comes with everything you need. The hosts are incredibly responsive and knowledgeable of what to do/see in the area. Will definitely be coming back!

Short stay in Waterford

Property exterior was more impressive than the interior with the exception of an area on the deck needing repair to several planks. The kitchen is very modern with lovely appliances but the living areas and bedrooms are somewhat dated. Overall the property is comfortable, clean and has an excellent location. Would certainly consider booking another stay in the future.

Awesome place to stay! Everything is labeled (super helpful for me!), beds were comfortable, clean, perfect amount of space for our family, 3 min drive to the beach, love the gas stove and the beach decor. Loved that the hosts provided good size beach towels, a wagon and 2 beach umbrellas (impromptu visit to the beach!). The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and provides plenty of privacy. Board games were played, music was listened to on the provided Bluetooth speakers and many memories made! A nice summer getaway! P.S. the bathroom pics make the bathroom look super small, but in real life it has just enough room.

The cottage was beautiful! It was perfectly sized for my family of 4 and had all of the amenities we needed.Our hosts were very gracious and made the check-in and check-out process very easy. I will definitely plan to consider this beautiful cottage again next time we are in the area!

Delightful beach stay

This was a terrific house. I have never stayed anywhere with such a well-stocked kitchen. We were able to cook everything! We got to meet Bill and he is the nicest. Communication was wonderful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Bill!

Perfect Cottage

We wanted a home to relax while we prepared to drop our son off at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. This property was perfect. It was clean, quiet and fully stocked.

Super cute cottage and super hosts

Comfort: the bed was comfy for me, but might be on the too soft side for some people. Pleasant surprises: the bathroom appears cramped in the photos, but I found it comfortable and functional and I’m a pretty plus sized person. There is a small step up from the tub level to the sink and toilet level. The tub has two shower heads, a regular one and a detachable sprayer. You have to pull down on a fitting at the tub spout to activate the shower sprayer, which is a mechanism I’m not familiar with. Probably it would be good to note that in the info binder. But maybe it is in there and I just read it and forgot!The decor is very cute and color coordinated, down to the board games on the shelf in the living room. Everything is clearly labeled around the house The hosts are great! Very helpful and responsive through the app during normal waking hours and they provide an emergency number as well. We left an item behind and they offered to forward it. The best kind of hosts!

Property was nice overall

Property was clean and very well organized. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and had plenty of beach supplies. Two downsides were the bed in the last bedroom down the hall was uncomfortable. Two days later and my husband’s back still aches from it. Also there was a a very heavy musty smell. We used the candles and air freshener provided but it didn’t alleviate the smell.

Sparkling Cozy Beach Cottage

Loved everything about this beach cottage! Perfect location to set off in any direction for beaches, coastal shopping and dining, and points beyond. Beach decor was warm and welcoming. Open floor plan made this cozy space feel spacious for gathering with family. Communication with Bill was excellent. Already planning to return!

Perfect place by the ocean

We loved our stay in Waterford. The house was amazing, clean and as pictured. Close to a wonderful beach with plenty to do nearby with the kids. Located in a nice residential area.

Connecticut Beach Cottage Gem!

My family and I (me, my husband, and our eight-year-old daughter) recently stayed at this delightful cottage for our beach getaway. We had a magnificent time, and everything we experienced lived up to the Vrbo description and stellar reviews. The decor is adorable and peaceful, and having a full kitchen, beach amenities, and a washer/dryer made a huge difference in our stay. Bill and Dorothy are excellent hosts, and I highly recommend this beach cottage to anyone contemplating a summertime getaway.

The Best Place in Southeastern Ct….

The hosts, Dorothy and Bill, continue to deliver the best rental experience one could ask for. They meet, and exceed, every expectation the listing offers. They are communicative and attentive. The quality of the appliances and cookware make things comforting and easy. As a frequent user of vacation rentals, I cannot think of a better experience. Look no further.

Great experience

This is a lovely property with a great location. Everything in the house was labeled. For the beach, towels, umbrella, and wagon were available (we could not find beach chairs that another reviewer mentioned). We would stay again if in the area.

Amazing

Our blended family loved our stay! The backyard was so much fun for everyone from mom and dad to the baby! The walk isn't too awful to ocean beach park and the pass was so great. Well stocked home!

Great oceanside cottage

Loved our stay here, the owners made everything easy with clear instructions and the house was adorable and well-stocked, including with beach chairs and umbrellas. They were very responsive and helpful.

Great location, parking pass for Ocean Side Park a huge value!

The house was nice. Great location. The home owner requested that we use the VRBO app to contact instead of via text, which was an inconvenience as we didn't have the app and didn't want to go through the hassle of downloading it while on the trip as we are not very tech savy. Overhead lights/fan in the back bedroom didn't work, was weird that there wasn't curtains on all the windows, would have been nice to have one of the many appliance clocks set to the right time. The use of the beach towels, umbrellas, beach cart, was of great help. Overall it was a great experience and having access for free to the oceanside park was awesome.
