Newly updated fishing and hunting lodge for rent in Cocodrie, La. Camp has been completely updated with luxury plank flooring, stainless appliances, granite countertops, leather reclining sofas, new beds, and 65ā€ LED TV to name a few. If you are planning a trip to south Louisiana for a fishing or hunting adventure and you are looking for an upscale relaxing place to call home then this is the place for you. This is not your typical 'camp'. This is truly a second home. After a long day on the water feel free to pull your boat into the slip, pour yourself a drink and relax on the large back deck, new leather recliners, or swings along the bayou. Don't forget to set the crab trap so you can have a crab boil during your stay.

The lodge sleeps 6-8 and has the following ammenities:

The house was as described. Perfect for our family fishing trip. The house is fully stocked with everything you would need. We can't wait to go back again. The boat launch is only about a half a mile away, and it was great being able to keep the boat in the water for the weekend.

Great Place to Unwind and Fish with boat

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect, and the boat slip was an awesome amenity for our boat. Washdown hoses and electricity @ the slip also great. 4 of us came together from Texas and Louisiana to have a family fishing trip. The kitchen is well stocked with Dishes, Coffee Maker, Pots Pans, Spices & everything you need. Bathrooms are clean and the living area is very comfortable. Beds were comfy for sleeping. Nest Themostat needed to be adjusted occasionally but as the owner of a rental myself I get it people are always abusing the AC units.

Cocodrie Fishing Trip

We had a great stay at Camp Cocodrie during a recent fishing trip. The host was very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. This VRBO is clean, comfortable and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good fishing camp

The location is great for inshore and near-shore fishing. The kitchen was well outfitted, the best I've seen for a rental property. The photos show boat lifts, but these were out of order and only one of the slips was usable. If only there was an ice machine, it would be the perfect camp for fishing trips. We expect to rent this place again!

Perfect spot for a weekend get away

We enjoyed our stay at this camp. Everything was clean and in place. We plan on getting back down this summer and am looking forward to it. Hopefully the bridge is back up and open by then.

This home exceeded expectations. My wife is a little OCD about cleanliness and she raved about this house. Beds were very compfy and living room furniture is mush nicer than most VRBO's we've rented. Boat dock was convenient but be careful about parking boat in slip. At low tide the steel brackets on the lift (non operational) will gouge the bottom of your boat. Fishing was good. If you just want to catch fish you can do so right off the dock. Live shrimp will catch more catfish than you care to fight. I was able to catch redfish and black drum while my wife enjoyed the big screen tv in the house. Be aware that the sorounding bayou is very shallow in spots and you can get in trouble with your boat. Locals are very friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to southern Louisiana and we enjoyed it very much. Only negative was the darned wind blew every day we were there.
