Great Neighborhood

We loved the neighborhood. The house was great. Everyone had their own space. Great place to stay.

Good stay, Nice price.

Trouble getting reception for the TV (possibly due to weather) We used it mainly for sleeping. Beds were comfy and overall a good stay for the price.

Cozy Stay

This property was perfect for what my parents and I needed to enjoy our stay in St. Louis. It was a quaint little home to come back to and enjoy each others company after our busy days of venturing out and about. The amenities that were included were great, the beds were so comfortable and the location was ideal, close to just about anything you to see. Dan was phenomenal to communicate and work with as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for just a cozy little spot to relax and wind down at after a day/evening outing.

Overall, great stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I didn't realize it was an upstairs unit, so my mom had a little trouble getting up the stairs, but we made it work. There was also a fairly strong weed smell throughout the unit, which was not great for the kids. Not sure if it was from the unit itself or a neighboring unit... But regardless, it was a great place for the price and the group size!

Lots of rooms and beds but only 1 mirror in the entire place. Bath tub was clogging with one shower. WiFi details and tv were sent but tried for about two hours and gave up after it wouldn’t work.

Super comfortable beds and parking in the alley right off balcony so you have a parking spot , close to everything, great views of the city

Clean and great location

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding. The apartment was clean and decent. The living room area was a bit crowded but the bedrooms were pretty spacious. I would suggest that they either install or provide a gate at the top of the steep narrow stairway that leads to the main entrance. We had a two year old who made us nervous all weekend ! Street parking was always available. We had a pleasant stay with no issues.

Disappointed

After arriving ten minutes after check in time, we found the place had not been cleaned properly. The beds had been slept in, dirty towels were in the bathroom and in the bedroom, and hair was in the sink. After contacting them, they got the cleaning crew out while we were gone thankfully. We then came back to a small amount of toilet paper on the roll for six people and none to replenish it. Lots of inconveniences that I’ve never experienced in a VRBO before. It was very disappointing.

Accurate and good for us

There was severalReasons I chose this property. I am traveling with five kids so hotel was not gonna work for us. There was one Roku tv and the internet sid not support the television the first day. We used a hot spot. There were no lightbulbs in the lamps in the one bedroom. The other issue was no shampoo or conditioner in apartment. My boys did not care.! Grandma would have liked some and did not pack any based on what was listed. This is a bare minimum apartment. As you come in the smell of weedmay be stronger but as you go up the stairs it dissipates. Overall this was super ideal for my group but I could use the advertised amenities. We were learning to wing it and made do. Thanks for hosting Dan.

Don't recommend

This place had four positive things going for it: very comfortable beds, hot shower with good water pressure, quiet neighborhood, and it's proximity to downtown St Louis (15 min). The strong marijuana smell that greeted us at the door and down the stairway entrance was awful. Also, the internet signal was zero to poor. We had to use our cell Hotspot to watch TV. While the kitchen was updated, it wasn't well stocked, with very little silverware, no baking dishes, and a broken can opener. The shower leaks water onto the floor, and the step into the bathroom is a tripping hazard. The air conditioner couldn't keep up with the heat during the day. The living room fan didn't work. The building itself was dilapidated and in poor condition. While street parking is free, we got a parking ticket because we didn't see a sign up the street that said no parking on the first Thursday of each month. There is only ONE bathroom, which was challening for our small group. Overall, I would not recommend this place due to the marijuana and poor conditon of the building and the issues we had.

Good location; Not a Good Experience

The main problem with this unit was the overwhelming smell. It wasn't clear if it was marijuana or just because it was an older unit, but it hit us immediately upon walking in and never dissipated. Our kids complained the entire time and had a hard time adjusting. We went to Walgreens and bought a bunch of air fresheners. Also contacted host, but host took awhile to respond and then didn't really do anything. He said he would try to have someone come the next day and try to address it, but no one ever came by that we saw (certainly didn't change smell) and the host never followed up. Hardly any utensils to use, and definitely some areas that could've been cleaned better. Had to put the linens on the beds ourselves. On the positive side, the beds were pretty comfy, and we loved the location. Check in and out were easy.
