These guests were very courteous and respectful of the premises. They left the premises very clean and orderly. All of their requests were fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner. They offered constructive suggestions. We look forward to any future visit by them.

I would like to thank Olive for her stay and her review. However, there are some incorrect assumptions, inaccuracies, and untruths in her review. Yes, the unit is old, built in the 1930s, but it is structurally sound. As a matter of fact, it just withstood two hurricanes in the last six weeks without any damage. There is absolutely no mold in the shower, or anywhere in the unit. The bathroom is cleaned using a chlorine base detergent which eliminate and prevent mold. There are a few stubborn stains in a couple of the corners which we paint regularly, but again, there is no mold. Being summer in Florida there are bug intrusions sometimes. Upon her informing me of the such the issue was dealt with immediately and effectively. The assumption that the unit was cleaned to 'make up' for taking care of the bug issue is totally bogus and incorrect. After ALL bug prevention and extermination application our units are always cleaned thoroughly, furthermore the unit was untidy and there were unwashed dishes and pots left in the kitchen sink which tend to attract bugs. I cleaned and put away those items. At that juncture I offered to clean the unit for her weekly at no cost. She never took me up on my offer. As far as crumbling walls and ceiling, those claims are totally untrue. There is a small area on the wall below the air conditioner that got some minor water damage caused by a previous guest who damaged the air condition unit causing it to leak water. Since that incident the air condition was replaced, and the wall was painter. There is absolutely no damage to the ceiling. As for her sleeping in her van, the security footage does not validate this claim. We are making updates to our units constantly. Last summer we replaced the rooves. last winter we replaced all of the plumbing. In the last two months we replaced the floor in the unit, and we added bidets. We have plans to replace all the electrical before next summer. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about the increase in traffic. Florida is experiencing a high degree of positive migration.

Expected neither a positive nor a pleasant feedback from this guest. She complained form the moment of arrival. Her companion reminded her that she booked the unit as described on the booking website. She was not charged the additional per person fee for her companion. Contrary to her writing there are no bugs or rodents on the premises, therefore no droppings. In one of our conversations prior to her arrival she was made aware that there was no cable or internet. All this is described in the posting. And although she knew it was a NON SMOKING premises she left the place reeking of cigarette and other smoke. It took three days to decontaminate the dwelling. Additionally she STOLE a DVD from the room. She did communicate some positive feedback upon he departure at my request. The county's property appraiser shows this unit to be more than 250 square feet. Additionally there is a separate utility room with a washer and a dryer for tenants use. Since the unit is reserved for one tenant a retractable curtain separates the enclosed bathroom from the rest of the living area. This is to allow free airflow throughout the dwelling. Updated photos on the listing shows changes made since this tenant's departure.
