Granny's Place - Historic Country Cottage- PET FRIENDLY!

The address for our place is on our listing and clearly shows the house is on a major highway. You could have enquired about the road noise before you booked and we would have gladly informed you of it. In fact you drove on that very highway to get there. If it was going to be a problem you should have said something before you checked in and we would have gladly refunded your money so you could go check in to one of the local stuffy hotel rooms. Do you remember when you were asked if there was anything unsatisfactory at check-in? Do you remember being told we would refund your money that very moment if you did not like the place? Guess not eh? This is not something we or anyone else can control, nor is it something we try to hide.

Randy was a fantastic guest! We hope to have him back again. He left the place spic and span and was a true gentlemen!

Donna went through the property and signed off on a 12 point checklist covering everything she just complained about before she checked in. She initialed each section and signed her name stating everything was advertised and that she found it satisfactory. We do this with all guests and give them the opportunity to inspect anything and everything before they check in. In fact we even tell every guest before they check in that if they find anything they are not happy with to please let us know, or they don’t have to check in and will give them a full refund. We don’t hold a gun to anyone and make them stay. However I do find it odd that 95% of the people that stay with us love it. Oh, and Donna, “ALOT” is not a word.

Glad to have had Tom and his friends come stay with us! They are always welcome back!

Lori has a poor memory. Lori needs to remember that before she was checked in she was given a complete tour of the property and a checklist where every alleged issue she is pointing out was covered, and that she signed and initialed each one as acceptable. Lori also needs to remember that she actually drove on to the property from the very road she is complaining about being noisy and that if she did not find all these points acceptable that she was given the option of not checking in and that Lori would receive a full refund. That same road leads to several motels in town where she could have stayed instead. Lori also needs to remember that there is a paragraph on that same document that clearly states that if she finds any problems during her stay that she would contact us before leaving a review that was dishonest and defamatory. Did Lori contact us? No Lori did not. Why would Lori still check in after signing off on everything before hand? Only Lori knows. Or maybe she doesn’t.

To say you could not contact me is just not true. I have no record of it whatsoever. I am extremely easy to find. Next thing is we have the place professionally cleaned after each visit. We take a lot of pride in Granny's place not only as a place of business, but as a family heirloom.
