The backyard has a 10-foot fence to the right and behind it (on the other side are unused parking lots). We only share one side with our neighbor and there is a 6-foot fence. You may occasionally hear or see the neighbors from the front yard, but they are lovely and have lived there for 30 years.

GARAGE:

The house offers plenty of space for your gear, including a large garage and a separate mudroom equipped with 10 ski and snowboard racks, as well as clothes hooks. This convenient setup ensures you have room for all your equipment. The garage fits one large car and the driveway accommodates another two cars, with plenty of additional free street parking.

LOCATION:

Juniper Lodge's location is unbeatable and is just a 15-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, making it easy to get here and start your adventure. The house is 15 minutes away from the University of Utah and 30-40 minutes from eight major ski resorts, including Park City, Snowbird, Deer Valley, and Snowbasin. Whether you're an experienced skier or hiker, you’ll have access to some of the best slopes and trails in the country. When you’re not on the mountains, you'll love exploring Salt Lake City's nearby attractions, with downtown being just a 10-minute drive away.

Our home is located at the edge of a vibrant, up-and-coming neighborhood that's in the midst of transformation. The area blends old and new — you’ll see beautifully remodeled homes (like ours!) alongside more lived-in properties. We’re just half a block from a main street with easy access to shops and restaurants (and across the street is a local movie theater), yet our home sits at the beginning of a quieter residential area. The neighborhood is safe, walkable, and full of character — a great spot for travelers looking to experience a more authentic slice of the city. Lastly, a 10-minute walk away you will find Mill Creek and Fitts Park, a fantastic children’s playground equipped with ziplines, jungle gyms, and a creek that when timed right is full of ducks!

No parties allowed. This is a charming neighborhood and we ask that you please respect our home and our neighbors.

Hot tub: instructions for hot tub use will be provided before arrival. Please exercise caution and do not eat/have glass in the tub.

Firepit and fireplace: campfire rules apply for the firepit and fireplace. Please operate them safely, provide your own firewood, and ensure all fires are fully extinguished when you are done.

Pets: we love and welcome our furry friends! Our insurance restricts certain breeds/sizes. Please provide details prior to booking. You accept full liability for your pets, will ensure that they do not go on the furniture, and that they will respect our neighbors.
