Suite 1 has a living area with a sleeper sofa, TV and a dining bar that seats four. Electric fireplace for a cozy ambiance. There is a well-stocked kitchenette with a compact refrigerator/freezer to store your leftovers from one of Sedona`s fine restaurants! The bedroom has king size bed with a TV. There is one bathroom with a walk-in shower featuring a skylight!
This suite also has a private patio equipped with an outdoor table and chairs as well as a propane BBQ. We also have a common area with a beautiful waterfall, turf, tall flowing trees and beautiful foliage! Just steps out our front door we offer private creek access for our guests! We are also just a 1/2 mile from Slide Rock State Park and only 5.5 miles from Sedona city limits. Take a beautiful, inspiring drive through Oak Creek Canyon. Head to nearby Flagstaff for some snow skiing or continue on to the Grand Canyon or Antelope Canyon!
Our absolutely gorgeous 2.5-acre property consists of 10 suites that sit right up on the Red Rocks of Oak Creek Canyon with views in every direction! Our suites have a rich history since 1952 with a rustic/modern feel.

Cell phone reception can be spotty depending on your provider.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we`ve partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider.

Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details through Know Your Guest.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking. There is a small non-refundable credit card fee retained by the credit card processor.
Rules for this unit are as follows:
Pets are allowed. Pet fee $65 per dog, per stay. Maximum two dogs up to 35 lbs. each.
The unit is pet-friendly (dogs); however, we kindly ask that pets are kept off all furniture.

Beautiful location. We enjoyed being able to have all the windows open during a heavy rain storm and felt secure. Private patio is nice and the waterfall area is beautiful too. The rooms were updated, modern and very nice.

Very basic cabin but close to lots of great hiking at a good price. Pillows & sheets could use an upgrade.

Relaxing Retreat

We went for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city to unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings that is Sedona. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and even got snowed in for a day just to spend perfect quality time with the family.

Wonderful Stay on Oak Creek

These cabins are wonderful! They’re modern and clean. We stayed mostly in the Oak Creek area so this location was perfect, but driving down into downtown Sedona was only about 15 minutes and it’s a gorgeous drive. My wife and I would definitely stay here again. The light on the AC unit was a little bright while sleeping, but nothing an eye mask couldn’t fix.

Beautiful Sedona Stay in a Cabin

The cabin was spacious with a living room & fireplace. Nice to have a kitchen with a refrigerator, sink & coffee pot. A stove would have been nice so we wouldn't have to eat out as much. Nice large bed but the mattress was too hard. It was nice that it was a little out of town away from all the traffic. Really good price.

Cabin with a View

The cabin location was great - Grand Canyon heading to Sedona for hiking. We loved the newly remodeled cabin, super clean, and the views were wonderful . We hiked on a trail before we checked in that was only minutes from the cabin. There was lots of hiking trails near by to choose from. With all the snow AZ was getting in early March we even got to see a couple of waterfalls. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Scenic rustic retreat

Beautiful setting. Hikes nearby. New kitchenette and bath. Private outdoor space. Heat and AC work very well. Comfortable bedroom. We were there in November with cold mornings and nights. Perhaps in the heat of the summer, tepid showers can cool you off, but when it is chilly you need hot running water. No owner or any type of worker/manager were on sight while we were there to respond to this need.

Most vacation rental properties do not have anyone on site you need to reach out either through the Homeaway dashboard which is the best way to document conversations back-and-forth or you have my phone number direct once you book that you can text or call me if there is an issue and we will attend to it immediately there was no notice given of any complaint until the review, please know as a traveler of vacation rentals not to leave a complaint in a review if you have not tried to resolve the issue with the owner prior to your review. we did have the hot water heater turned down for the summer months and have since adjusted it back to the winter setting since this review.

Will come here again at some point!

What a great stay and location! Not too far from Sedona at all…Great hikes all around with little to no people this time of year. (Do the Sterling hike) The accommodations were great in Unit 1…! Beautiful views from many points. The common outside area next to the waterfall was a cool asset. We did have an electrical glitch, but the property management team (Luis) did a stellar job of getting it corrected..! There were very small things like the condition of the toaster oven, but that doesn’t change our 5 star rating. We will come back and would want to stay in this unit!

This is a great place to stay and all updated and very clean. The hinge that would have made it better for us would be to have better WiFi. You can’t do any streaming with it which can be frustrating. It seems strange in this technological age that there can still be slow internet. Also to provide a DVD player in the rooms.

Thank you we do take pride in keeping our cabins extremely clean! We are surrounded by forest service in the middle of a canyon and to provide Wi-Fi at all is pretty awesome considering our remote area that’s why it is a cabin rental not a house rental and I actually have been told that many people have been able to stream here so maybe you didn’t even try? Also it states right in the listing that we can supply a DVD player upon request in your cabin.

Cute condo in convenient location to Slide Rock State Park

We had a great stay here. The condo was recently remodeled, and they did a nice job with it. It has that old cabin smell when you first walk in, but you don't notice it after a few minutes. All the updates were very nice and the views are wonderful. There is no Wi-Fi, and there is no cellular reception or landline, so you are very cut off there. The walls are paper thin, so you hear all of your neighbors conversations. If you want to go to slide rock State Park, this is a great spot. It is super close. Getting into Sedona takes quite a bit longer because the traffic gets very backed up. Overall, we really liked the place and would probably stay again, especially if it got Wi-Fi.

Thank you for the feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay! While we may not be able to offer all the modern amenities at this time, we are located in oak creek canyon surrounded by national forest next to oak creek , wi-fii/internet and cell coverage is not currently available to us. Once it is we will be able to offer it to our guests .Until then we look forward to you enjoying your stay at our charming and quaint 50's era cabins with modern design.

Great except for one thing . . . 🐀

Great cabin with everything you need. Nice quality bath products and the bed very comfortable. Communication was fabulous. Unfortunately we witnessed a mouse in the kitchen. We think it entered through an area (a hole) of the front door framing that was exposed to the outside. The host immediately responded and made arrangements to have door inspected and repaired as needed, but we didn’t know if this addressed the problem or not, and just decided to leave a day early and not deal with it. Otherwise, a lovely accommodation in a lovely setting.

Not a Cabin It’s a log motel.

We did not stay and requested a full refund. The outside space is run down and dirty Grill was rusted and dirty. The inside smelled of cleaning products and slight cigarette smell. The dumpster was located in front of the property and doors to dumpster were open. Multiple stairs to property were crumbling and dirty. We will not use VRBO again. This was not an exceptional property. There was a boil water restriction also.

Room to move

Unit 1. We were a party of 3. There is was room to move. Patio, 1 bedroom and sleeper sofa. Pro - view when doing the dishes, separate 1 bedroom, nice shower, kitchen had everything we needed. ROAD NOISE is REAL. They were doing construction so during the night it would be completely silent and then these huge trucks come barreling through the canyon. It is loud. Took a couple of days to get used to during the day. Unit 1 is closest to the road and the patio is on the road. May be better with patios in the rear? Con - BBQ needs attention. Thank goodness we did not plan to use it. It need deep cleaning. Patio needs to be swept. If there was a broom, I would have done it. Brought chair inside from the patio so 3 of us did not have to sit side by side on the sofa. The extra chair in the living room is not comfortable to sit in and watch tv.

We can not control ADOTs schedule for road maintenance, when complete and there will be a nice newly paved road for travel through the canton which all the guests will enjoy! Day noise is real as we are in a canyon so can only sit so far off the road and it is a major tourist destination, and guests should be out enjoying during the day making noise less of a factor! Important to note during sleep hours the canyon is quiet ! BBQ’s are deep cleaned every quarter, we do count on our guests to tidy up after themselves when using the grill we leave a grill brush there for use. There is a broom under the kitchen sink, but it is fall so many leaves and pine needles are falling and the patios would be impossible to keep spotless during this time.

Perfect stay!

This is such and friendly place. For hiking the location is great as well as shopping too! The management had exceptional service! The cottage was exactly as described and we will stay again !!

Not a Luxury Cabin

I was looking forward to staying here and the minute we opened our door we were so disappointed. What could be seen right away is that no one had cleaned, dusted or de webbed our room. My husband had to get the huge spider web from above the bed and still there was five more big webs in cabin. There was a patio with a great view but we didn’t get to using it because it was also so dirty and no one had cleaned off chairs, de webbed or cleaned the bbq. I was just so disappointed but we made the most of it. The garden area is astro turf and pictures made it seem more than it was. We probably won’t stay here again unfortunately.

Breathtaking Views

The stay here is close to great hiking and everything else Sedona has to offer. The views from the porch and patio are breathtaking. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will be back.

We found our accommodations we very clean, and the description was quite accurate.

Overall they were great with communicating, and providing information of the local area. We would definitely return for another visit.

Spring break

Stayed here for a couple days with my 8 yr old for spring break. The room was cozy and comfortable. The creek across the street was beautiful. It was a great location. We did a jeep tour in Sedona and went to Bearizona another day. This cabin was close to everything but far from the town to make it quiet. Also close to West Fork Trail which is an easy but beautiful hike.
