Wonderful stay

My husband and I enjoyed our week at Roy and Bonnie's beautifully appointed apartment. It has everything one could want or need for a comfortable stay. The location is so peaceful and pretty and they were so hospitable! This is a truly lovely place to stay on St Croix, especially if you want to be tucked away.

Rain Forest Paradise

From the arrival at the airport to the departure, Roy and Bonnie Vi went above and beyond expectations to make our stay in St Croix pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable. They are both amazing people. The stay was wonderful. We would definitely stay again at Roy’z rain forest gem

Best secluded stay

For those of you like me who prefer the tranquility of the rain forest, this is the place for you. This is the only place for me simply because the amenities are above and beyond and Roy’s as good as a host can be.👍

Beautiful, Peaceful, & Clean

My husband & I stayed for a month at Roy & Bonnie's beautiful property. It had an amazing view, a peaceful dirt road we took many walks on.(the goats were entertaining.), and by far the cleanest place we have stayed on the island.They are very nice and have thought of everything, so accommodating! We loved it! Highly recommend.

Roy and Bonnie, have absolutely thought of everything. Their vacation units are extremely clean. Theor hospitality from the moment we arrived and Roy came to the airport to guide us back to their property. To Roy cooking conch stew and bring us a huge bowl. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place that is minutes from beautiful beaches and so many other activities. This is the place. Thank you Roy and Bonnie, we will be back.

Perfect place to stay!!

We recently stayed here and were totally blown away how beautiful this unit was. The owners were great and the setting was perfect. We've been to lots of rentals in the past but this was by far the most perfect place to stay. The accommodations were outstanding, everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. When we return to St. Croix, we never have to look for another place to stay. This is it!!!!!!

Amazing Fully Equipped Stay in the Mountains of Paradise

The property is much more equipped than even the pictures let on, and Roy is such a helpful host. If you are looking to stay a little bit off the beaten path in St. Croix, this is your best bet. Wonderful mountain views. Amazing comfortable stay and a great host. It doesn't get much better than that.

Looking for seclusion, this is your place

Roy and Bonnie’s property may be the cleanest rental from VRBO we have ever stayed in and was greatly appreciated. It had everything we needed and more! Roy was super helpful from the time of our reservation through our entire stay. We enjoyed the herds of goats and sheep that passed by every morning. The highlight and most favorite was exploring the many wonderful beaches on the island, and snorkeling daily.

Peaceful Paradise

This was our second stay with Roy and Bonnie and we are looking forward to our third. This property is immaculate and contains everything you may need from the well stocked kitchen,wonderful bedding and all of your needs for the beach. Beautiful new immaculate apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. Our host Roy was very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. He met us at the airport to make sure we arrived without any difficulty. We would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to get back to St. Croix.

Exploring US Virgin Island

We arrived and our host lead us to our condo. Many rough dirt roads but this is the Carribean after all. The condo was clean and well decorated. We met another couple there who had repeatedly stayed there and loved it. Don’t expect to see a lot as it’s mostly two towns, and lots of poor roads to drive on.

Best place to stay!

Bonnie and Roy we're the most awesome hosts I've ever had. They went above and beyond by helping us. My flight was delayed. Buy 2 full days and they helped my wife and made her feel so comfortable that she could have cared less than that I wasn't there. Absolutely. A must to stay place so quiet and tranquil

Amazing property and owners

We were impressed at how clean and well taken care of the property was. Roy was so friendly and helpful--couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. He gave us tips and even dropped by once with some fresh local fruit! His recommendations for an SUV were spot on.

Clean and quiet away from the noise of the city

Very clean and modern apartment in the rain forest of St. Croix. The homeowners are very friendly and nice, and the home is in the middle of St. Croix, so it is relatively close to everything you will need. They even have a power generator which is helpful for if there is an island-wide power outage. I was very thankful. If you want peace and quiet away from the heart of the city, this is the place you are looking for. I had a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect!

We have stayed in many VRBO places in the US and Europe and have never stayed anywhere more spotless. And it’s beautiful too. Everything you want is there from the fully equipped kitchen to the great washer and dryer. Owners couldn’t be more attentive. Truly get away from it all in the middle of the rain forest. We will be back!

This hidden jewel in paradise is beautiful! The view is breathtaking. This location provides peace and quiet. Everything on the property is well maintained. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get in person. Furnishings are modern and kitchen is well equipped. We felt completely at home. It's highly recommended to get a rental that's a truck, jeep or suv.

Absolutely my best stay at on VRBO

Absolutely amazing 🤩 . So grateful to find this gem in the rainforest. The host was incredibly accommodating and even saved me late at night when I got lost with my gps. Kindness abounds. The home was beautiful, private, and clean! Had everything I needed. Was so comfortable and loved the local art all around. Right down the street from the drinking pigs and amazing restaurant too! Loved the quiet location that feels out there but in the middle of everywhere I wanted to go. It was a beautiful stay and adventure ❤️

Quiet and fun stay in the jungle

The property is beautiful, quiet, and charming. There is a long dirt road driveway up to the top of the hill to the property, which is fun and unique. It is located in a good central location and you will need a rental with 4-wheel drive. There are goats, cows, and other animals surrounding the property. The apartment is super clean, well maintained, and has all of the necessities to make your stay feel like home. Roy is also very personable. We highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment in the rain forest

We had a fantastic stay with Roy and Bonnie! Our flight got in early and we started exploring before check-in. Roy found/rescued us from a grocery store half way to Christenstead and escorted us back to the apartment. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you would need. The driveway is an island driveway so definitely rent an SUV or truck to make it up, and if you meet the cows, just tell them to move. Grab the pocket map for easy navigation- cell reception can be spotty. Overall, a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommended

The apartment was exactly as described with everything as advertised and that anyone could ask for. Our original rental wasn't so nice and we were so happy that we found Verdant Paradise. The overlook was magnificent with a bright sunrise every morning and shade all afternoon. The view is across a hundred acres of tropical trees and herds of fine bleating sheep and cattle grazing underneath. There was always a breeze but if you like cooler the air conditioning is available. The hosts treated us well going beyond requirements and doing some special favors. If you are on STX this is the place to stay.

Stx getaway

The property was well kept and stocked. I enjoyed the tranquility. I was on business and it was a perfect choice. Needed a tv in living room and you have to bring your own drinkable water. Getting to the property was a challenge at first but I got use to it rather quickly. This is for those who want a place that you can get away from it all. Thanks Roy for picking me up and waiting.

Perfection

This was the ideal location and space for the peace, beauty, and comfort I was seeking. The super quiet, roomy one-bedroom suite with high end bathroom, kitchen and living area was fully equipped with absolutely everything I could possibly need for my combination work and personal 14 days re-connecting with the extraordinary and unique St. Croix island life. Views of the rainforest ecosystem and birds from the lanai, breathtaking hike from my door into the hills where views of the hills and sea are breathtaking, centrally located to entire island (especially my favorite, the Fredriksted community where I once lived), and the full kitchen allowed me to actually cook real meals when needed during work time. Hosts Roy and Bonnie oversee the property meticulously, attend to all needs, and provided amazing warmth and privacy during my stay.
